10/08/2025: To get to know Elba, Il Cavatore is a must-see. You'll enjoy breathtaking views while sipping local wine, hearing the Elban dialect spoken, and you're just steps from the center of Capoliveri and very close to the Calamita mines. The staff is friendly and straightforward, without too much fuss.

28/09/2025: The service is exceptional, and the restaurant has a very atmospheric décor and a view of the harbor. The tuna steak in sesame breading is delicious, and the salads and other dishes are also very tasty. If you're craving Mediterranean cuisine, it's worth a visit.

18/10/2025: We found this place by chance, a very pleasant discovery! We tried some very unique and delicious craft beers. For lunch, we had anchovies with butter and bread, and some very special artisanal taglioni, which were the dish of the day, so I don't know if they're on the menu again. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! A very positive note for the staff; the guy who served us was extremely kind!

23/09/2025: We had a great time; the briao octopus was truly delicious and tender. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu and style were unique, not your typical seafood menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through Porto Azzurro.

18/10/2025: Excellent Tuscan food (we had fish) served in a quaint and elegant setting. Excellent and friendly service. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the ingredients and dishes. We recommend it to anyone looking for a refined restaurant.

18/10/2025: We were here yesterday at 2 p.m. with seven people, including three children. We had a reservation, which worked smoothly via WhatsApp. The place is absolutely fantastic. There's hardly a more beautiful, exclusive spot on Elba. We were here in 2023 during the summer during peak season and enjoyed the sunset. Amazing! The food was very good, but for €39, I would have celebrated more than paper plates and plastic cups. I don't know exactly what we ate, but it was very tasty. They could do a lot more marketing here. Tell us about the goat farming, the dishes, which cheeses are made from which milk, etc. Regardless, you're paying for the spot, not the food. We ate five times in five days on Elba. 4 times <€200, here >€200, and at that price, there's still plenty of room for improvement in terms of quality. And if only there were a little more attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of the food. It had a bit of a chip shop feel, unfortunately. But the staff was very nice. We would like to come again and hope that our suggestions are taken seriously and that things will change here.

13/10/2025: We would have loved to have dinner here in the evening and enjoyed the sunset. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, as the temperatures were already quite chilly. So we opted for lunch and were not disappointed. All the appetizers made with local produce were delicious and deserve 10 stars from us! The main course could have been omitted; the pieces of meat were dry, grilled to death, and probably reheated from the day before. What a shame! We still enjoyed our time because the place is simply fantastic.

22/10/2025: Lovely pastry and delicious coffee. I loved the chocolate millefoglie, with a dark cocoa cream (not Nutella).

04/10/2025: The artichoke pizza was so watery it could have been soup, the main server is not quite rude but not friendly either, you do wait for service a little even though its very small. Other food was better, not amazing though.

18/09/2025: Overall, the dinner was good. The dishes were well-cooked and the ingredients were top-quality. The pizza was a little burnt, but only on one side. There was a slow service between the appetizer and the pizza. Otherwise, it was fine.

09/09/2025: It's what you'd expect: a restaurant with a prime location and, unfortunately, very poor quality and expensive food. The service is somewhat chaotic and illogical, which is why everything takes longer. The Aperol was good.
