After 9 years we returned to the island of Elba, and as then we first stopped in Piombino at the Panetteria Vito.
Schiacciata, pizza and bread were super like back then, as was the friendliness and kindness of the lady who served us.
Advised!

04/08/2024: The place was nice, the staff were friendly but the price was too high for what we ate: two first courses, two fried foods, two glasses of wine and a water, €80, I find really excessive.
The fried foods were good, medium portion, the seafood first course was a little salty.
Prices are probably average for Piombino but remain excessive in my opinion.
30/07/2024: I was there on Sunday evening with my girlfriend. I ate reasonably well... let's say that the value for money is good.

20/07/2024: The best pizza in town. If you are in Piombino, you must go here. Delicious pizza. Great service. You will feel at home. We got a nice free takeaway home each time. I think this place deserves 10/10. We will definitely come back whenever we are nearby.

27/07/2024: 40 degrees in the shade, this place is an oasis. Fast and impeccable service (they changed the table and offered us a more airy one), very cold drinks and scary crushes. I personally had a frisella with tomatoes which was an angel from heaven. Fresh, good, light, tasty. The stuffed flatbreads full of cured meats. I highly recommend it.

02/09/2024: Prices a little crazy... a fruit salad (not even fresh, left out of the fridge all day because we made the receipt first to collect it later) paid a whopping 9 euros... I'll give them to you too but not for the hot, rancid fruit!
Ps. All this happened because there was a sign saying "pos not working" and then, in a panic, my friend and I paid everything immediately (because, as it happened, the line "strangely picked up").
The gin and tonic was undrinkable..tasted quick.

08/07/2024: The environment was nice, unfortunately the staff who served me the croissant looked askance at everyone, furthermore the croissant wasn't good at all, in fact, it looked like one from the supermarket, same thing for the very acidic coffee. It's fine if you need to grab breakfast on the go but I don't recommend it at all.

20/07/2024: Oilcloths on the tables. For us it is unacceptable, even rejecting. A pub packed with Italians and locals. Pizza is served by the slice or you can order it whole fresh.
Very good, finger licking good.
