19/08/2024: I'm sorry because I know what it means to have a business and the sacrifices that go into it but you don't take a reservation guaranteeing that there is air conditioning and then this turns out to be just a regulation of air that sometimes breaks through, it's not done . If I am told that it isn't there or that, as I think I saw, it is there but everything is kept open, and therefore it is no longer of any use, I am free to decide whether to dine there or not. Food ok but nothing more. Then it would be nice to have a cloth tablecloth top since the undercloth and napkins already are. I don't recommend it, at least not in summer.

05/09/2024: All excellent products from the appetizers to the first courses to the "ciccia" and finally to the desserts. Excellent staff especially for recommending the right cut of meat, given the vastness of choice. Also very kind to prepare a dish not on the menu for the child. It's certainly not cheap, but the bill is adequate for the quality and quantity. Highly recommended!

03/09/2024: Excellent restaurant in Castagneto Carducci! We ate the Tuscan cured meat platter, the cheese platter with Vin Santo and Pasta with Cinta Senese ragù, all accompanied by an excellent organic Bolgheri Rosso wine. If you want to eat as if it were your last day in Tuscany, trust me, go here!

16/08/2024: The place is nice and the staff very kind, attentive but not intrusive. The menu is made up of a dozen dishes, equally divided between starters, first courses and second courses. (Personally I'm wary of mile-long menus). Wide choice of wines. Plus point: the food is excellent, the ingredients and cooking are excellent. Point against: portions of a starred restaurant. If it were for the quality of the dishes I would certainly give five stars, but we are neither on the Emerald Coast nor on the Ligurian Riviera. My "beef cheek with potatoes and rosemary" is made up of 3 pieces of meat. The "potatoes" are a spoonful of mashed potatoes on the bottom of the beef. We had dinner very calmly, but after 5 minutes we had finished the dishes and the wine was practically all still there. We stayed another half hour to finish it, finishing all the bread in the basket. At the nearby tables the same situation... a family, having finished dinner (after 10') reordered some first courses. We preferred to go to the Corso and get an ice cream... So, if you are not very hungry, you like to eat well and you are those types who manage to exalt/justify diet portions, then go here. If you have children, are hungry, or would simply feel cheated by paying €22 for (1 pound?) of beef, well, look elsewhere.

The place is perfect, elegant but not pretentious, the service pleasant and not stiff, the staff attentive and attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant has an amazing food menu but also less important bottles suitable for a quiet dinner. It makes you feel good to dine at La Tana del Pirata.

Clean, spacious rooms with all comforts. Professional, friendly and extremely helpful staff, especially the service in the restaurant. Excellent and refined cuisine with the possibility of extra menu variations. Super breakfast in terms of quality, quantity and needs. The possibility of having lunch/dinner in the juniper garden facing the sea is also valid. The swimming pool is excellent, especially suitable for children. We will definitely be back…

Atmosfera rilassante, elegante e piacevole. I tavoli sono spaziosi e si mangia in estrema tranquillità e comfort. Grande scelta di vini del territorio e ottimi dolci. Vogliamo già tornare!
