19/08/2024: Völlig überraschend. Die beste Pizza al Taglio weltweit. Wunderbare regionale Spezialitäten sorgfältig, mit ganz viel Liebe und Engagement veredelt. Kompetenter und herzlicher Service. Das Lokal ist an einer etwas unglücklichen Lage an einem Kreisel ausserhalb von Portoferraio; gerade darum würde man eine solche Gastronomie an diesem Standort nicht erwarten. Dafür nicht völlig überlaufen, liebevoll eingerichtet… Das Weinsortiment ist einer Enoteco mehr als würdig. Aus unserer Sicht jederzeit ein Besuch wert.

17/08/2024: Sono venuta dopo cena per una bevuta senza pretese con mio marito e mio figlio. Locale piccolo ma carino e curato. Proprietario gentile e preparato. Ottima scelta di bevande locali e non di qualità. Piccola cucina con pochi prodotti ma di qualità e non scontati. Ho assaggiato i salumi di pesce!!!!

08/08/2025: EXTORTION! We came for a limited-entry aperitivo. The menu offered a choice of a glass of wine with appetizers for €10 and various platters. We ordered the glass of wine with appetizers included for €10 (mandatory since there wasn't a wine-only option) and the €15 Tuscan platter. Meanwhile, the glass of wine was meager, and the appetizers, even though we paid for them individually, were handed out to the whole table (two or three tiny plates of schiacciata and dry pizza for 12 of us). Then, the platter—what a pittance! A small plate with two slices of salami, one of prosciutto, one of rigatino, a bit of panzanella, and that's it! Can this be called a €15 platter? We didn't take a photo out of sadness. I don't understand how anyone can charge so much for a place that has a standard location, like so many others in the area, offers nothing special, and offers such a paltry aperitif at a stratospheric price! I stumbled upon it by chance, but I'll never return.

08/08/2025: We went there for aperitivo, about 12 people in total. The wine was expensive for mediocre amount per glass and the wine was at best below average. The food portions were tiny compared to other restaurants with lower costs. Extra €10 for cheese? Everything felt just very low budget. Only stayed for food so can’t rate the hotel/rooms.

10/06/2025: This café is truly wonderful, but never more so than the owners!!! I think this place is truly magnificent, with warm, friendly, and above all, truly kind staff, just like the food!

28/12/2024: Sono stata col mio fidanzato e mi sono trovata molto male. Abbiamo chiesto due cappuccini e subito siamo stati “presi in giro” per la pronuncia non toscana,non abbiamo apprezzato visto che non ci conosciamo nemmeno. Ci siamo accomodati al tavolo e abbiamo sentito schiamazzare “ragazzi è pronto” neanche fossimo al pranzo in famiglia. Una stella perché zero non è possibile. Sicuramente un posto da sconsigliare e dove non torneremo sicuramente

29/10/2024: Gelateria storica nel cuore di Castagneto Carducci. Ambiente interno datato e buona proposta di gelati artigianali, gli stessi ben preparati. Prezzi sopra la media della zona e buono il servizio.

31/08/2024: Das eis ist sehr lecker und man bekommt große Portionen. Man kann Eissorten vor dem Kauf probieren. Es gibt viele Ausgefallene Sorten wie zum Beispiel: Sahne-Karamell, Käsekuchen mit Amaretto...

07/04/2025: Very nice, flexible service. The crew tries everything to satisfy the guests. Nice restaurant and nice terrace, located right next to the large market.
