22/01/2026: Ample parking. Fast service. Good food. Reasonable prices. Two open kitchens allow for a clear view of the food being prepared. The restaurant is large, busy, but quiet.

18/03/2026: I went for dinner at the beginning of the week out of season so there were plenty of free seats, a modest wine list and a truly superb quality of dishes

02/03/2026: A quiet and refined place with well-spaced tables. The food is a bit pricey but very good, no complaints there. The customer service is fantastic, and the wine list is excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

06/03/2026: Generous and tasty portions, rustic atmosphere as left many years ago... If I return to Scarpiera, I will come back to eat here.

14/02/2026: The tagliatelle with mushrooms were good (and plentiful at €8.50), as was the small bottle of wine (0.33 cl for €14!), but the two side dishes were truly mediocre, and it was a surprise to pay €35 without coffee or dessert. I like the ambiance, very retro, as are the bathrooms, which are strictly unheated. Then I noticed the receipt for half the price and decided to write this review.

24/02/2026: Very good restaurant, well-prepared and served dishes. Definitely delicious flavors. Excellent service and explanations of the dishes. Not cheap, but a great experience.

16/02/2026: I didn't stay, but I ate at the restaurant. Everything was delicious: excellent steak, Tuscan and traditional dishes, some almost forgotten but beautifully presented here.

05/08/2025: I think we were some of the first to play this course since it reopened after a long closure since Covid, the pro informed us that the course was bought and reopened recently, with plans for a full refurb, course clearly no where near its prime, but you can see the works begun to restore it. 360 views of mountains. Hope to play it again someday when it’s been brought back to its former glory, it’s a challenging course no doubt about it, a lot of elevated shots, some blind dog legs. Water, asks a lot of questions. If you are playing it soon just be aware it’s been left abandoned for 6 years and works just began on it, I think it’s priced to reflect that. When we first arrived we thought it was closed down from first appearances, but getting onto the course you could see 3 green keepers working hard. I’d say it’ll be in great shape next season. Best of luck to the team there really accommodating and friendly. Former European tour course for a reason, spectacular views of the Tuscan hills, fields of sunflowers and medieval towns makes it quiet a special course that deserves the tlc its getting.
