I had lunch a few days ago. I only had the Florentine steak, or rather the "bistecca." Both the meat and the cooking were spectacular. They have different types of meat; I had the "limousine," which was tender and flavorful. The side dishes were also good. I haven't tried any other dishes.

I made a quick stop from Florence here. The personnel was super attentive even though I was very early for dinner. When the food came I ordered seconds. Loved it.

Another lunch at this lovely, welcoming restaurant. The food was once again very good: boiled meatballs as an appetizer, peposo with potatoes under ashes, all truly delicious. All washed down with a very pleasant Chianti Rufina.

Villa Vecchia del Feriolo

08/05/2026: I returned to Villa Vecchia after many years with my family to organize my daughter's First Communion lunch. I found Mr. Paolo and his staff very kind and available to accommodate all our requests...even for the vegan menu. They were very professional. We stopped for dinner and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and plentiful.
25/04/2026: Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, and generous portions. We hope to return soon.
