28/06/2025: The Piazza Potente in Reggello is so suggestive, a place where the breeze blows almost continuously to make it perfectly acclimatized in this torrid summer, a perfect location especially sitting at a table from 1250, a restaurant with excellent quality and research on the supply chain of the products that are brought to the table, and with a large and young staff that whizzes up the steep climb made of old stones and then abounds dispensing taste and courtesy to all the diners. The small kitchen churns out delicacies with new recipes even off the menu, as well as the wood-fired pizza oven, unique, genuine and never banal, the knife-chopped raw fish have such freshness in their heart that they seem to arrive on the plate still pulsating, the frying is light and harmonious both in shape and taste, you eat well both seafood and land, we exchanged tastings and it seemed that each of us discovered which dish to have next time, it is a cuisine that surprises, to be tried absolutely, the waiting times are a little longer but then it usually happens in these places that are full every night, it is mandatory to book better if with a few days in advance, if you are in a hurry to consume maybe it is not the ideal place but one thing is certain, you will leave there refreshed in taste and soul! Tip: Arriving early in the morning, especially on weekends or during peak season, can guarantee you the best spots and greater tranquility before the crowds arrive.

26/08/2025: The welcome was fantastic. At least a year after our last visit, we were recognized and greeted with a hug. She remembered we'd spent our holiday with Elisa in San Jacopo in San Lorenzo. What a charming place. We had delicious filetto porcini and tartufo—what a taste experience. A lovely Morellino di Scansano, off the menu at the owner's recommendation, was the perfect accompaniment. After a fantastic tiramisu and cannoli for dessert, and the café with limoncello, we said our goodbyes.

22/08/2025: We've been back twice. The food and pizza were excellent. The service was courteous and attentive. If we return to Tuscany, we'll definitely go back. Definitely worth a try.

27/08/2025: This place was advertised to us as one of the best in the area. Perhaps our expectations were a little too high, but we found the value for money to be poor. Too expensive for the quantity of food offered, and the quality wasn't spectacular either. Very pleasant atmosphere.

14/08/2025: Good food, but the wrong meat and chaotic service I went to Restaurant Giacomo and honestly expected more. After ordering, a portion arrived that I thought must be a joke. The menu said "Beef" – which, to me and everyone else, clearly means beef. The server then explained to me in Italian that in Italy, "beef" can also refer to different types of meat. To me, that sounded more like an excuse, especially since I had specifically asked before ordering how large the portion was and whether the meat was good. The answer was "yes" – but in the end, they served pork instead of beef. I sent that back. On top of that, I asked three times for a sweet wine, which I wanted to have with dessert – as is customary in Italy. The server explained to me that it's only served after dinner and didn't want to bring it to me beforehand. However, in my opinion, it should be my decision when to drink the wine. The food itself was delicious, but the main course didn't satisfy me. Finally, I received an incorrect bill: instead of €88, I was charged €126. This was corrected at the counter before I paid, but it shouldn't have happened.

19/08/2025: Delicious Tuscan cuisine with excellent value. Year after year! Lovely terrace with a view, and if you sit inside, it's cozy under bright fluorescent lighting—just like Italians! ;)

01/08/2025: A very nice and well-maintained place surrounded by greenery, and everyone is very friendly. We also enjoyed the pool with bar service, excellent dinner, and breakfast outdoors.

12/07/2025: We love Villa Rigacci. We have stayed here 5 times now since 2019. It has become our home away from home. We stayed 9 days this time and really enjoyed our meals, staff, room and services. Everyone was great. The VR staff went above and beyond for a birthday party we planned for 2 friends. We really appreciated their support and all they did for us. Grazie mille to all the staff at Villa Rigacci. We will probably be back next year.

20/08/2025: Traditional restaurant. We arrived late and the restaurant owner agreed to serve us with a smile. We liked the tomato pasta and a green salad. The tiramisu is also quite good. Very good value for money.

16/08/2025: A delicious discovery to end our Ferragosto holiday! We spotted this pizzeria by chance while passing by. The name intrigued us, so we immediately pulled into the nearby parking lot and looked at the reviews, all excellent... we decided to give it a try!! We were greeted by the kind and friendly staff, who seated us on the covered veranda, which was very cool and airy. We ordered and soon realized we'd made the right choice...a wonderful pizza: thin, crispy, beautifully topped, and generously sized! A pizza that ranks among the best I've ever tasted! It's a shame it's 98 km from my house, but we'll definitely be back because it's truly worth it!

23/06/2025: From the outside you wouldn't say so, but once inside everything changes. Perfect welcome. Very good first courses. Well cooked and quality meat. House tiramisu not to be missed. A special applause to the boy who served us courteous, attentive and punctual in the service. Good quality/price ratio. Definitely a positive experience.

14/08/2025: A nice place to stay cool and eat well. We had the schiacciata con ham (a type of flatbread) which was really good, along with the delicious desserts. The price was more than reasonable. I recommend arriving early; we arrived around 1:00 PM. There wasn't much schiacciata left, but there was still plenty of food, as well as the pizza, which looked really good.

13/08/2025: What a shame! After an hour and a half's walk from Vallombrosa, we arrived at 12:15 PM and the salty food was already sold out. I recommend it for a hearty breakfast, but I wouldn't recommend stopping for lunch.

15/08/2025: Delicious, authentic Italian pizza from the stone oven. Highly recommended! Reservations are recommended, but not necessary. Expect a bit of a wait. The prices are reasonable.

31/08/2025: We found this little gem as we arrived in Incisa. As with previous reviews, food is like an Italian Nonna would cook. A varied menu. We had seafood pasta and pork with a porcini sauce to die for. We will definitely come again during our stay. Locals mostly which is always a good indication of great food.
