25/08/2024: We went to eat pizza at this delicious pizzeria, very popular in the area. We were very happy! The quality of the pasta is exceptional and not at all heavy, plus the quality of the ingredients is amazing and of excellent quality. The staff is very attentive to customers and very nice. The owners are fantastic people, very approachable and super cheerful. I really liked the climate there. The location is very modern, inside there is a large room with many tables, and outside there are 2 very nice verandas. I will definitely go back because it's really worth it! Compliments!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

29/06/2024: For many years - the first time 21 years ago... - we have been coming here again and again and every time it is fantastically beautiful. Everything bears the signature of Serena and Alessandro and is incredibly lovingly furnished and equipped. We have never lacked anything, quite the opposite: the guests are pampered and looked after, from the hand-prepared breakfast (Serena has freshly baked pastries and cakes in the morning) to small snacks or drinks throughout the day and even one in the Loggia offers a 5-course menu, which can be prepared for guests every day upon request. Another highlight is wine, oil and, more recently, soaps, creams and shampoo from our own farm, where most of the ingredients for the food also come from. In addition, of course, everything surrounding it with a pool, lounge corner, loggia, fireplace room, horses and various other animals etc etc... One thing is certain: we will always come back!!

Of all the Beba pizza paired with the wine of the same name is absolutely unmissable! The service is friendly and attentive. The Pizzeria of the heart, where you can feel at home every time and be amazed every time as if it were the first!

27/06/2024: Very small Japanese restaurant in the village of Pontassieve which has just 16 seats and a chef and a waiter. The fact that it has a very limited clientele is actually a strong point, as it allows you to always have a quiet and reserved environment, fairly fast service (not very attentive in the delivery of dishes) but above all fresh fish, which you can taste ( the prawns are spectacular). The menu is not very extensive and mainly revolves around cold dishes (also because they don't have a real kitchen), but the ravioli, large and tasty, are certainly worth trying too. The sensation is therefore that of practically entering their home and eating something artisanal and not mass-produced like in a large all-you-can-eat restaurant. Even though it was born as an à la carte restaurant, for some time it has offered the all you can eat formula for lunch at €17.50 (cover charge included) to which perhaps add €1 of half a liter of water. Ultimately a nice, welcoming and intimate restaurant where you can eat a few things done well. The advice is to enhance their strong points, then review the interior more faithful to a traditional Japanese kiosk and implement some hot dishes: it would then be interesting to create a student menu, perhaps for takeaway.

05/07/2024: You can't do without the far west..historic pizzeria in Pontassieve that has been with us since we were little..for me the number one..even if I have to get take-away pizzas I always stop there..I really hope it can last endlessly even for the new generations because only the name is history..not to mention the rest..first and appetizers at the top and abundant and very honest prices..come on guys, don't give up..you have always been the best..Simone

17/08/2024: I ordered the Macaroni with courgettes and pecorino, & the Grilled sliced ​​beef with rosemary and Volterra salt. Absolutely delicious! The stake was cooked sooo good. The salt flakes were very nice with the rosemary. Best steak I’ve had. And the macaroni was fresh and full of flavor. A very peaceful dining area and very kind people. We were here for about 2 hours and enjoyed our time. Best food, sad to finish it.

30/08/2024: I asked for a cheesecake and a limoncello. The cheesecake cream was terrible and the limoncello was cheap, I didn't completely consume either of them. I finished with a coffee at the bar counter, almost hot water and there isn't even a hint of a towel dispenser at the counter. Under the counter and to the right of the bar entrance there are boxes of goods stored like in a warehouse. It's a shame because the pizza isn't bad, but the environment is very neglected, if the public part is like this, I can imagine the kitchen! The service is entrusted to a group of boys, more or less like at festivals..-..

23/08/2024: Everything perfect. Our large group was warmly welcomed. Perfect communication also in English. The food is simply amazing. I've never had better pizza, but the homemade pasta is wonderful too. Likewise the wines. We were happy to tip generously and would be happy to come back when we are near Florence again. By the way, the Polpo starter is particularly recommended.
