30/01/2025: Siamo capitati per caso sulla via del ritorno dalla Toscana. Meritatissimo voto. Posto rustico con cucina tipica toscana locale, fatta in casa. Cotiche con i fagioli che te le ricordi, tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale buonissime. Pure il pesce fresco che viene da Castiglione della pescaia. Anche i contorni fantasiosi e saporiti.
Personale alla mano, accogliente, gentile e pure simpatico!

26/10/2024: I stopped to get a coffee and go to the bathroom, and I found a beautiful bar with very shiny and charming wooden furniture.
The bathroom absolutely clean. Also a very nice little terrace where you can sip coffee.
When I return to those parts, I also want to try the cuisine.

23/10/2024: A place that calling it a Bar is a bit of an understatement.
In fact it is a bar, diner, pastry shop and cafeteria.
Although out of the way, it is an excellent refreshment point with a good pastry shop.
It's just unfortunate that, since the sales assistants are Neapolitan, so they should know well the habits of those who drink coffee, they ask if you want a glass of water first and above all, what's more deplorable, they even make you pay for it.
No girls... we're just not there.
You are Neapolitan and in Naples coffee is an "institution", so it should be served regardless with the accompanying glass of water. And not from cinnamon.

09/03/2025: Sono stato ieri insieme ad amici. Locale molto bello e spazioso, personale gentile ed educato. Essendo intollerante ai crostacei ho chiesto un menù a parte sono stato subito accontentato. Antipasti fantastici ed abbondanti, primi ottimi e la frittura da urlo. Ci tornerò di sicuro quando vorrò togliermi la voglia di mare.
13/02/2025: Total disappointment...cold welcome...many dishes with tasteless frozen fish and never once were we asked if everything was ok, aware of the negative response...good desserts.

24/08/2023: Yet another "family" management of a very traditional place, in an equally traditional destination for Sunday trips out of town for many Florentines. The "period" location has gone through the decades almost without changes (and this is not a criticism!) and remains just off the SR 70, a good km before the center of Consuma, in the quiet town of Poggio alla Ginestra, also good for walks and picnics.
Traditional and very limited menu, decent to good value for money. Personally, I found the starters (and side dishes!) a bit too expensive compared to the first and second courses, but the quality of the cured meats and cheeses on offer seemed very good.
If you are passing through and don't feel like queuing for the local cold cuts and flatbreads, it can be a pleasant and relaxing alternative.

27/07/2024: Esperienza da non rifare, mangiare scadente,tagliata di manzo rucola e grana,scarsa e stracotta. Personale di sala, molto indisponente, prezzi alti. Peccato perché il posto è molto bello e avrebbe un enorme potenziale.
21/07/2024: Posto carino, tranquillo nel bosco si sta bene, ottimi antipasti , pizza nella norma nell insieme consiglio per passare una serata piacevole
