19/10/2024: The legendary Cuccoli pastry shop is a pride of Figline / Valdarnese as they enjoy highly refined pastry products. We have had the pleasure of stopping in their restaurant several times to savor their delicacies as good to taste as they are beautiful to admire, well... the results have always been excellent. I know this review seems crumbling and too enriched but I can only congratulate them for their preparation, professionalism and extreme kindness and courtesy. Thank you.
Advised? ABSOLUTELY YES.

24/11/2024: A pranzo il 17 nov. 2024. Siamo una famiglia della zona che conosce i piatti tipici e può esprimere una concreta e oggettiva valutazione. Siamo arrivati con alte aspettative (vedi Borghese, vedi la location, vedi..il quasi Chianti), putroppo a parte la location dobbiamo scrivere questa recensione. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di crostini con pane toscano (toscano, raffermo, troppo abbrustolito? non abbiamo capito) durissimo, tanto che abbiamo traferito il condimento nelle fette di pane da tavolo nel cestino per essere mangiato. Buono il risotto di zucca, buoni i ravioli, eccessivamente unta e piena di fagioli la ribollita o minestra di pane. Il tutto si conclude con una composizione di pasticceria secca composta da Brigidini stantii (dolcini delle sagre che non sono della zona ma della Valdinievole), cantuccini di bassa qualità SENZA VINSANTO (che ho dovuto chiedere e probabilmente pagare? bho), Pezzetti di Panbriaco (Panettone noto della zona - Pasticceria confezionata in vendita nei negozi) e pezzettini di Cialde di Montecatini che avevano preso dell'umidità (commento di uno di noi proveniente dalla zona delle cialde). A condire il tutto un conto bello salato che non avremmo definito tale, se vi fosse stata la sensazione di essere stati ben serviti e coccolati, invece della sensazione di aver mangiato degli "avanzi". Questo il pranzo del 17 Novembre 2024.
ps. spero che la pessima esperienza sia dovuta al matrimonio che stava per celebrarsi, ma... in tal caso, meglio riservare tutte le attenzioni a loro, o no?

11/12/2024: Hotel with enormous potential, located in an area with breathtaking views, an ancient villa with a particular charm. It's a shame about how it's managed, it could be a gem. Staff in the spa not really smiling. Very small spa spaces, dusty rooms, a jumble of styles. Chandeliers with cm of dust, very poor breakfast variety.
From a 4 Star S you expect much more.
Positive: Pasqualina from the wellness centre, kind, smiling and very professional; excellent dinner at the restaurant and room service.
A real shame considering the beauty and potential of this location.
Small piece of advice to create a bar area where you can spend part of the day otherwise there is nothing else to do besides the wellness centre.
11/12/2024: With my partner, we have just spent a beautiful day at Villa La Borghetta, amazing location, helpful and professional reception staff, ready to resolve any requests from guests, highly qualified SPA staff, available restaurant staff, exhaustive in their advising and then explaining the dishes that would then be served to us. Amazing, high quality food!! The SPA is not very large, but everything is there, in the summer there is an outdoor swimming pool.
It was a positive experience, we planned to spend our birthdays there in May 2025.
I applaud the staff for their availability, professionalism, friendliness, but above all for the smile with which they welcome guests.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

24/09/2024: Excellent food, good service staff and very very good value for money (two starters and two pizzas with water came to just €40. It could be greatly improved with some thought on the decor and lighting as it is a bit austere and reminded me of a school dining hall, but none the less worth visiting for good quality and value.

27/08/2024: Great local restaurant in the main Piazza where you can watch the world go by. It's a busy spot for a reason. Great, simple Italian food at very reasonable prices. Our favorite is the "Nduja e burrata" pizza, it's amazing! The owner, Massimo, managed to accommodate 90 of our wedding guests with ease for a meal the day after our wedding, and everyone loved it! Grazie mille, we look forward to returning someday soon!
26/08/2024: Super nice restaurant on the beautiful Piazza. The food is excellent and for the price you certainly can't go wrong. Good fast service and the owner and his crew are super friendly.

20/07/2024: Cena fine vacanza con disappunto al ristorante Il Vecchio all'interno del villaggio Norcenni Girasole.
Personale da rivedere x poca professionalità nel relazionarsi con il cliente.
Richiesto al momento della prenotazione tavolo in terrazza con vista e invece messi nel mezzo della terrazza su passaggio zona camerieri.
Camerieri che passano e commentano Ia clientela.
Ordinata Carbonara, pizza e rostbeef. L'unica cosa salvabile il rostbeef x la quantità presentata, la Carbonara alla "modica" cifra di 13 euro era un mini porzione e la pizza poco cotta e insapore.
Il locale attira l'occhio, afascina nel suo stile Toscano ma quanto servito è sproporzionato rispetto qualità e prezzo.
Lo sconsigliamo....meglio la pizza in piazzetta.

22/07/2024: Geweldig restaurant! Je voelt je erg welkom door het vriendelijke personeel! De kinderen waren dol op hen. Het eten is fantastisch! De kaart is heel uitgebreid en je hebt dus veel keuze! De porties zijn echt Amerikaans, dus je gaat niet met honger naar huis! De kwaliteit van het eten is top! De sfeer is ook echt Amerikaans en de serveersters serveren op rolschaatsen. Onze dochter vond dit geweldig. Ideaal voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen! De kids kunnen lekker spelen en de ouders kunnen rustig eten. Wij en onze kids waren erg enthousiast over dit restaurant. Wij zijn deze vakantie meerdere keren hier gaan eten, vanwege dat je een ruime keuze hebt, kun je de ene keer gaan voor Amerikaans, de andere keer weer Mexicaans. We gaan dit restaurant missen en volgende vakantie komen wij zeker weer terug! Hartelijk dank!
18/07/2024: Tutto molto bene eccetto la profonda maleducazione e ignoranza del “responsabile” della struttura che ha aggredito verbalmente bimbi e genitori.
Una persona veramente incapace di stare al pubblico. Peccato serata sciupata per il responsabile davvero incapace!!

23/11/2024: We were greeted in an unfriendly/unhelpful way and were told only when ordering that several dishes on the menu were sold out, including the meat! Saturday evening 9pm.
They brought us white wine and not a glacette. The pasta with garlic didn't taste like garlic, it was pasta with red sauce (and it wasn't specified that it was red), really dry chicken and badly cooked pork. High prices for the quality.

28/04/2024: Nice place, very nice furnishings, fairly good pizza, lightly seasoned. The blonde waitress with the Gucci glasses should be laughed at, rude and ignorant. If she didn't want to work she could have stayed at home.
