07/04/2026: Excellent agriturismo located on the foothills of the Chianti mountains overlooking the Valdarno. The outdoor area, nestled among the houses of the small hamlet, is lovely. The appetizers are shared but plentiful, as are the first courses. The rabbit was good. Service was a bit slow. Recommended.

06/01/2026: As a wedding planner, I had the pleasure of working at Dimora Palagena, an incredible venue just a few minutes from Florence. It is a truly dynamic location, perfect for hosting a full three-day wedding experience in different settings: from a welcome event in the vineyard, to the wedding celebration at the main estate, and a relaxed pool party on the final day.
The food is exceptional, with great attention to quality and presentation, and the team is also highly experienced in providing menus suitable for kosher weddings. A special thank you goes to Elia, the manager, who is an extraordinary professional and a wonderful person—his constant support, availability, and attention made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
I highly recommend Dimora Palagena to couples looking for a versatile, elegant, and unforgettable wedding experience near Florence.
31/12/2025: Incredibly rude front desk staff! They should not be in hospitality. I left my room key in the room and went to my friends room next door with the door open but a strong wind came to blow my door shut and I was locked out. I asked the front desk staff for help the man was angry and frustrated and scolded me for locking myself out and now he has to dig through the drawers to find the right key... It was a huge inconvenience to him... This completely ruined my stay..

28/04/2026: We ate here on the last evening of our vacation.
A very nice, cheerful little restaurant with pizza, pasta, and meat dishes.
The food was delicious, and the tiramisu was truly one of the best we have ever eaten.
It is a shame about the bad American reviews, because they are not accurate. These people have no understanding of real Italian food.
The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. He did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful evening. 5 stars.

11/05/2026: Wonderful place, small spa but proportionate to the number of rooms in the structure, very large and beautiful outdoor area, relaxing massages that do what they are supposed to, restaurant with small portions but high quality.
27/04/2026: I purchased the Botticelli voucher as a gift for my wife.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Debora, kind and smiling. We were placed in a Charme room, which could use some minor maintenance to bring it up to a 4-star standard. Overall, it was satisfactory. The spa experience was excellent, especially given the limited number of other guests. The staff were polite and courteous. One suggestion: I would provide the herbal tea corner with a kettle and at least a couple of herbal tea bags. The restaurant area for dinner was very popular, as were the dishes we sampled. The wait staff were also professional, yet had a pleasant, friendly demeanor. Bathrobes and beach towels were provided. Breakfast was also satisfactory. We will definitely return and I recommend it!
Special mention goes to Giovanni at reception. He was excellent at resolving a mix-up!

26/11/2025: The kebab was rubbery, inedible, and smelly, especially with the cucumbers.
If you eat kebab there, good luck in the hospital, because you'll be stuck there for at least a week with a constantly brown bed due to diarrhea caused by the raw meat. I highly recommend it for an unforgettable experience with an almost guaranteed risk of salmonella.

12/11/2025: A very tasty pizzeria in Ponte agli Stolli. The dough is very good, the standard pizza is thin, but they also have Neapolitan dough. The fries were also excellent. The menu is varied, with a wide selection, the place is simple, and the staff is efficient. I recommend trying a pizza here.

04/04/2026: I found it by chance during a walk over Easter weekend, so in the morning I went to buy fresh pasta... truly excellent, excellent quality.
24/02/2026: It's become a trusted café. Excellent for both sweet and savory treats. As a breakfast lover, I recommend it, and it's almost become a regular stop on weekends. I recommend it, even though it can get quite crowded at certain times! That means it's good, haha! The price is fair, even for big eaters like us.
