31/10/2024: High quality beef tartare expertly seasoned and with an excellent combination of flavours. The croutons are also very good. Wide selection of wines from all over Italy. Trained and welcoming staff.

15/02/2025: Luogo incantevole e cucina sopraffina. Sono stato per San Valentino e devo dire che era tutto buonissimo. Abbiamo scelto il menú di pesce… antipasto di tonno fresco ottimo, gnocchi col pesce e filetto di branzino. Serata perfetta finita con un desserte bellissimo e buonissimo.
15/02/2025: Ambiente e cucina veramente ottimo, abbiamo fatto il menù pesce ed era davvero buonissimo, bello anche da vedere. Il servizio a mio avviso lascia a desiderare….eravamo stati qui un’altra volta sapevamo del servizio lento e un po’ disorganizzato….ma così….
I piatti portati un po’ a caso senza una scaletta visto che fai un menù…il vino portato dopo l’antipasto e sapendo che ho ordinato un bianco mi dici che hai finito il porta ghiaccio…imbarazzante visto l’ambiente….
Ho dato tre per la cucina, il resto credo sia da rivedere….

16/03/2025: We had dinner on Saturday 16 March, an embarrassing restaurant. A disorganization never seen before. We waited 2 and a half hours to eat an appetizer with only cured meats in a tray and an inedible pizza........ All this cost €31.05 per person. NEVER AGAIN
16/03/2025: Dinner with friends.
Nice place. But as soon as they arrive, problems begin. The waitress, I must say, was very kind and informed us that the kitchen was closed due to the lack of a chef.
There were also 3 starters missing out of 5/6, but let's overlook this too.
The worst were the pizzas, two out of 10 were burnt, the other eight were not cooked, especially the stuffed one which was inedible.
Since we left almost all the pizzas on the plate, we had some desserts. Tiramisu normal, panna cotta poor.
Final €62.10 per couple.
I hope it was an evening for them

02/02/2025: Recently discovered, I ordered the dessert for my daughter's 18th birthday, chosen by her and with the flavors that she liked 💗 the gentleman who welcomed us, we were immediately satisfied, a nice hazelnut and chocolate bongo, I would say super good, liked it to everyone, my compliments!!!!

I tried again, since many are enthusiastic about the bar which has never driven me crazy.
I confirm my opinion:
* Truly inadequate service.
For a barley on the counter I waited 10 minutes without anyone looking at me or looking at me. There is no order... whoever is more bossy, shouts more or who is known wins (they take orders even from afar).
* Food: I am a lover of empty croissants which I have never found good.
Today I wanted to try the much vaunted pudding and I confirm that, in my opinion, it cannot be considered an excellent pastry shop as many claim.
Furthermore, 1.40 euros is not even very little.
* Very nice environment.
In any case I confirm that breakfast is not worth it.
Does it have good parking, probably little competition in places easily accessible by car?
Well... I've been there several times now and I really don't understand why it's so famous!!!

20/12/2024: There is nothing to complain about. Delicious food, next to your own vineyard with decent wine. Close to Sting's estate. Beautiful views from the pool...simply in the heart of Tuscany. We were there 2 years ago and we are also going on holiday next year, although we rarely come back to the same place twice... but it's worth it.
24/11/2024: A pranzo il 17 nov. 2024. Siamo una famiglia della zona che conosce i piatti tipici e può esprimere una concreta e oggettiva valutazione. Siamo arrivati con alte aspettative (vedi Borghese, vedi la location, vedi..il quasi Chianti), putroppo a parte la location dobbiamo scrivere questa recensione. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di crostini con pane toscano (toscano, raffermo, troppo abbrustolito? non abbiamo capito) durissimo, tanto che abbiamo traferito il condimento nelle fette di pane da tavolo nel cestino per essere mangiato. Buono il risotto di zucca, buoni i ravioli, eccessivamente unta e piena di fagioli la ribollita o minestra di pane. Il tutto si conclude con una composizione di pasticceria secca composta da Brigidini stantii (dolcini delle sagre che non sono della zona ma della Valdinievole), cantuccini di bassa qualità SENZA VINSANTO (che ho dovuto chiedere e probabilmente pagare? bho), Pezzetti di Panbriaco (Panettone noto della zona - Pasticceria confezionata in vendita nei negozi) e pezzettini di Cialde di Montecatini che avevano preso dell'umidità (commento di uno di noi proveniente dalla zona delle cialde). A condire il tutto un conto bello salato che non avremmo definito tale, se vi fosse stata la sensazione di essere stati ben serviti e coccolati, invece della sensazione di aver mangiato degli "avanzi". Questo il pranzo del 17 Novembre 2024.
ps. spero che la pessima esperienza sia dovuta al matrimonio che stava per celebrarsi, ma... in tal caso, meglio riservare tutte le attenzioni a loro, o no?

03/03/2025: Conoscevamo questo locale è ne eravamo entusiasti x buon cibo e buon prezzo ,in estate poi fuori era molto carino,tornati lì dopo 2 anni...che delusione ,45 minuti x 2 pizze chi ci anno portate fede e cattive..
X non parlare di bambini che passavano sotto i tavoli,andavano in ripostigli e cucina...maia più che peccato però.
06/01/2025: Pizza a little atypical for those who are used to something else, but not to be despised: there is the "double dough" option which is really good!
Fast, friendly and helpful service.
Spartan but clean and functional environment.

29/09/2024: Personeel is vriendelijk, locatie is mooi. Keuze op de kaart is goed divers. Helaas vergaten ze ons flesje water op de tafel te zetten. Wat kan gebeuren natuurlijk. Maar we kregen als voor: Bruschetta: Droog, verse ingrediënten, geen kruiden. Echt te simpel. Caprese was oké, maar geen kruiden, geen basilicum, weinig diepte.
Toen hadden we mixed grill besteld. Helaas droog, kruidloos, elk vlees smaakte naar dezelfde grill. We hebben dit niet opgegeten, hebben betaald maar er werd ook niet naar feedback gevraagd. Enorm jammer 😣

26/11/2024: I take an espresso, hoping it's worthy of the name, but instead it tastes like dirty water. I can't understand how an owner can't produce an espresso worthy of his name and above all whoever supplies the coffee doesn't get angry at how little value they give to their blend....
25/10/2024: Customers for years. My partner bought a loaf of cereal bread today. Paying for it fresh but at least 2 days old. The most expensive chewing gum I've ever eaten in my life.

23/11/2024: We were greeted in an unfriendly/unhelpful way and were told only when ordering that several dishes on the menu were sold out, including the meat! Saturday evening 9pm.
They brought us white wine and not a glacette. The pasta with garlic didn't taste like garlic, it was pasta with red sauce (and it wasn't specified that it was red), really dry chicken and badly cooked pork. High prices for the quality.
