12/01/2025: I was very disappointed by my recent experience at Tasca, a place which, being historic, should guarantee quality service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The waitress who served us was extremely grumpy and unprofessional. When we politely asked why the bruschetta included in the aperitif did not arrive, he replied in an annoyed manner: "The chef is busy and since the bruschetta is free for you, he prepares the dishes that the customers pay for first. If you're hungry, here's the menu.” I find this attitude unacceptable. Customer care should be a priority, regardless of how much they spend. Furthermore, we are talking about bruschetta – simple slices of bread with ham – which certainly do not require long preparation. It's a real shame to see how the quality of service has dropped so much in a place with so much history behind it. I hope they improve, because my experience was decidedly negative. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
