06/11/2024: Welcoming and friendly staff and service. I was able to call ahead and make a reservation in English. Our server recommended a steak to share, with two sides and it was a generous amount of food. It was an exceptional experience. Highly recommended making a reservation.

05/01/2025: Nice and welcoming place, we tasted a few dishes but all were excellent and the service was impeccable. At the end of the meal the typical cassatella successfully completed the experience.

27/10/2024: Yesterday, we had an amazing meal at l’Antico Granaio. I had seared tuna with pistachios, and my wife had seared tuna with pickled red onions. Both tuna dishes were perfectly prepared, but the sweet and sour pickled red onions were exceptional – such a perfect balance! For dessert, we had the pistachio tiramisu, which at first seemed like a disappointment because it wasn’t fresh. However, after the first bite, it became clear – it was a flavor explosion you simply can’t achieve with fresh tiramisu. Only two days left here in Castellammare del Golfo, but we’ll be back!

10/12/2024: Really good fish couscous... I'm from Palermo, if I go or pass by Castellamare, I book and take two portions which are abundant, rich in fish, tasty. Then I go to the seaside (whether the day is good or bad) and I enjoy it!!! Needless to say, there are also many other foods... the critical point is the space: only two tables in a confined space. But maybe it's better this way...

01/09/2024: In a corner of the characteristic port, my company and I dined several times in this restaurant with a Greek air and a typical and very good cuisine in terms of choice of freshly caught fish. Furthermore the people are very helpful and capable. We will return next year.

30/11/2024: 10 and praise!!! Nice and pleasant place with attention to the smallest details. Menu with a wide choice of dishes with the flavors of local tradition, it was difficult to choose because we wanted to try everything, but luckily we were given all the time we needed to choose without being disturbed. We appreciated the friendly and discreet service, the attention in presenting the dishes which were delicious. My partner's hamburger and potatoes were excellent, the first course with squid ink was one of the best things I've ever eaten: the perfect combination, the fresh ingredients, the excellent quality. Highly recommended place also for the good value for money.

30/10/2024: Great restaurant in former 18th Century mansion, caters for diners in the courtyard but also has a rear terrace which overlooks the bay. Great service from Claudia, Dario and the other ragazzi! Superb food. Highlights are: Seafood soup (zuppa di pesce) which is almost like fish stew served with delicious fried bread, beccafico (sardines stuffed with breadcrumbs, pine nuts and served with orange), Linguine with sea urchins (ricci di mare), local pasta busiate with the Sicilian traditional ingredients of sardines, fennel, raisins, pine nuts and breadcrumbs, linguine with red mullet (troglie) and fennel. Great wine - try the Grillo. And don't forget a super strong caffe to finish up with!

28/08/2024: attratta dal panino col tentacolo mi sono lasciata tentare..mi viene servito un panino vecchio piastrato che mi arriva cmq freddo con all interno dei tentacoli che puzzavano di pesce maleodorante...il tutto accompagnato da una piccola birra alla spina servita egregiamente calda.. ahimè non è andata proprio bene
