17/10/2024: Mon mari et moi même avons déjà dégusté des centaines de granités dans toute l Italie et toute la Sicile mais comme celle ci jamais . Ce bar est tenu par une famille qui continue à perpétuer la recette de leur grand mère ils font la granite avec des fruits frais que l on retrouve en petits morceaux pour certains parfums. Nous avons pris comme parfums figues et amandes . Ce fut un extrême moment de bonheur, des granités succulentes et en plus à un prix dérisoire.
19/08/2024: I returned to this bar after some time and found the same wonderful flavors of the past, thanks to the skilful art of Mrs. Nunzia and her son Paolo.
The granita with chopped fruit with bread and biscuits from the nearby bakery is a sublime experience.
Tip: figs, mulberries, prickly pears, oranges are all super good

13/09/2024: Ristorante a Porto Palo scelto per caso, mangiato benissimo, piatti di pesce freschissimi, ben presentati. Ristorante situato sulla via principale che alla sera diventa pedonale. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo

Chef Andrea and all the staff welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. We have returned several times precisely because of the goodness and freshness of the dishes, updated every day based on the catch. Andrea, the chef, works with passion and creativity, preparing masterpieces every time

30/12/2024: we stayed for a week in the hotel, the rooms are spacious and modern, the food is quite good, and the service is friendly and courteous. one flaw and the wellness area a little small.
30/12/2024: This is not the first time we have stayed at this fantastic hotel and it won't be the last either. It's like a second home for us. We usually come in the summer but this year we also spent the Christmas holidays here. It is in the center and close to the ski lifts (whether it is winter for skiing or summer for a beautiful walk on the Plan de Corones). Room with a beautiful view of the mountains, abundant breakfast to start the day in the best possible way and a wide choice for dinner. Everything is so delicious that it's worth repeating! The staff... well what can I say, extremely helpful and attentive to your every need, to the point of even remembering what type of coffee we take. A special thanks to Moira and Damiano, who we met a few years ago and who we are happy to meet again. We can't wait to return!!!!

La cucina è ottima con prodotti locali preparati alla perfezione. Anche la pizzeria ti permette di avere una esperienza di gusto sublime con impasti a lievitazione naturale.

10/09/2024: We went with friends to this restaurant where you can eat from pizza to fish and meat, the food is truly excellent, we took both the raw and cooked seafood, really good and plentiful! The pizza was good too. Some little things should be fixed on an aesthetic level and the service could be a little faster. Quality/price more than fair. Must try!

26/10/2024: Bad experience, the woman at the entrance told us that she didn't take reservations and they would be operational at 8pm. Returning to the place at 8pm. 4pm, the same woman told us that there were no seats and we had to wait for the tables to become free which despite being free people were booked with various surnames. We pointed out to him that he had told us the opposite shortly before and rudely and arrogantly invited us to wait for the tables to become free. So if you intend to go there, camp outside and wait for it to allow you to sit.
11/10/2024: The Trattoria presents itself in a spartan, simple and unpretentious way, but this does not detract from the culinary experience. The restaurant offers both a traditional cuisine menu and a variety of pizzas. We ate very well, with genuine and well-prepared dishes.
The service was punctual and friendly, with particular attention to the customer. An appreciable detail was the sorbet offered by the house, a small gesture that is always a pleasure.
The fried paranza was very fresh and very crunchy, demonstrating the quality of the raw materials used. Overall, the value for money is excellent, making this restaurant a great choice for those looking for a tasty meal without spending too much.

04/11/2024: Beautiful venue!!! But alas in August they no longer have Corona beer and they couldn't do the moito because we didn't have mint!!! Not to mention the sandwiches where you couldn't make 5 types because there was no raw material. We had asked for the chips before the sandwiches but they arrived later. And let's not talk about the favoritism that serves family members first and then others!!!
13/08/2024: We stopped here just to have a quick aperitif... exaggeratedly inflated prices (18 euros for a glass of wine, a coke and a bruschetta with only cherry tomatoes), a cover charge which honestly wasn't justified in the slightest (we didn't have cutlery, bread, snacks or anything other than what we had generously paid for) and when I asked to be able to pay by card I was told a lot of fuss (the POS which didn't seem to work, I was asked if I was staying nearby to get some cash etc) and then satisfied myself after a bit of my insistence (the POS was there and it worked). When I asked to see the receipt for the 18 euro bill which didn't add up to me, I was told that they issued it but there was no card...
Very nice location however.

10/11/2024: Seconda delle due incredibili esperienze a Portopalo. Scoperto per caso durante un brevissimo soggiorno. E’ il posto da visitare non solo per la fantastica colazione - cornetti 🥐 di tutti i tipi e farciture, sfogliatelle, cannoli, ecc. - ma anche per la cortesia del personale e i prezzi.
Excellent price/quality ratio.
Overall the best 2 breakfast we had during our trip throughout Sicily.

Zibibbo - Tavernetta Gourmet & Panoramic Bar

20/09/2023: La vera pecca di questo ristorante (più una tavernetta in realtà) è il rapporto qualità prezzo.
Pur presentando ingredienti di qualità e ricercati (almeno da quello che viene scritto nel menù) la preparazione mi ha deluso.
Se metti in bocca un boccone di pasta con il pesce devi sentire il sapore del mare e non il gusto del solo sugo.
Mi chiedo...ma il cuoco è siciliano? Lo sa fare un fumetto di pesce? Gli ingredienti sono di qualità per carità...ma assolutamente slegati con preparazione quasi "casalinga".
Caponata al tonno.
Porzione veramente scarsa (quasi da ristorante stellato) classica caponata buona...peccato per i 4 pezzettini minuscoli di tonno aggiunti
Pasta fresca (palesemente industriale) all'aglio nero e cozze: saranno stati 80 grammi con un acquetta marrone e 4/5 cozze al massimo (aggiunte dopo) nel mezzo...tanto valeva mettere le cozze (sempre 5) in un altro piattino
