26/07/2024: Excellent lunch. Quiet place, generous portions and genuine food with local dishes. Particular credit goes to the ricotta ravioli and the very, very good meat second courses. (Meat also seasoned with a fine and tasty olive oil produced in the Buccheri area). The girl who served us was really kind. Positive experience.

07/07/2024: Qualunque cosa ordini ha il sapore della genuinità e della cordialità che sono di casa in questo posto... Pizza sublime ma anche i primi piatti a prezzi che non trovi più da nessuna parte... Un grazie alla proprietaria sempre calorosa nella sua accoglienza... Mangi tanto e bene e spendi davvero poco per cibo di qualità!! Le tagliatelle panna, funghi e prosciutto restano il top del menù!!!

14/08/2024: Immerso nella collina tra ulivi e bellissime piante di fichi d'india, abbiamo gustato un pranzo che ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative sia come presentazione dei piatti e soprattutto per la bontà... 02/08/2024: If you are looking for a place to escape the hustle of the high traffic tourist areas of Syracuse and Noto, I strongly recommend Masseria Fortificata Lo Zafferaneto. This charming rural rustic retreat was a great place to re-set and relax. The drive into town is about an hour and I would recommend not driving at night. Spend the days in town and return for a swim and prepare to enjoy Alessandro’s saffron inspired menu options. His wife Irene and their entire staff were friendly while providing excellent service and attention to details. Relax by the pool and take in the sites of the smaller towns in the area. A truly unique place.
