The wild boar with mushrooms lacked a bit of salt, but overall it was good. The service was good, as was the ambiance. Just one thing: a nice place should have a wider selection of amaros, rather than just one. Other than that, a lovely evening.

It's the best in my neighborhood! Excellent cuisine, a rustic atmosphere, and fast, attentive service. The highlight: the pork shank with baked potatoes. The first courses are certainly not inferior, but the meats are unbeatable!

Even though a few of the guys spoke poorly about my wife behind her back (probably not realizing that we understand Italian), I must admit that I had the best calzone (Antonio) that I’ve ever eaten in my life. If you want good pizza you should go to Antonio!

Eating surrounded by the splendid panorama of the Cavagrande lakes adds a touch of magic that makes the meal an unforgettable experience. The view outside the restaurant is rejuvenating, a true paradise for the eyes. 🍽️ The food was impeccable from start to finish: • Appetizers: Rich and authentic. • First and Second Courses: Superb food quality. • Dessert: A special mention! On Women's Day, the owner was so kind as to offer it. A classy gesture that demonstrates truly rare customer care. ⚡ Impeccable Service Despite the restaurant being completely full, the dining room was managed perfectly. The wait times were absolutely reasonable, and the staff remained efficient and friendly despite the crowd. In summary: If you're looking for great food, a breathtaking view, and a warm welcome, this is the place. We'll definitely be back and recommend it. P.S. Great value for money! Cose di Casa Nostra Le Residenze Archimide

22/04/2026: A unique hotel complex with private apartments, a beautiful swimming pool, and a restaurant with good food.
16/04/2026: We've just stayed for 2 weeks at Residenze Archimede during the Easter school holidays (UK) with our 12 and 9 year old. The room was clean, simple, comfortable and well maintained. The bed was very comfy. The pool and pizzeria were closed because it was so early in the season. The food on the half board menu was very good. The hotel and grounds are lovely but could do with a lounge. The beach in Arenella is really nice and about a 30 minute walk away. The hotel staff are fantastic and really lovely. The waiters were great with the kids, the reception staff were really helpful with any queries we had. Overall we had an amazing holiday staying here but it's not the kind of holiday where you stay on the resort the entire time. It is rather remote and there are not many amenities nearby (like shops and bars) but we hired a car for 10 days to explore the area. While in the area I would recommend visiting the beaches at calamosche, minareto and fontane bianche. Also the towns of Siracusa, Ragusa and Noto if you hire a car.
