Al Matteotti Lounge Bar In Monreale

Delicious homemade food, real taste, heartwarming owners. The best!

Today I visited Monreale with my family. It was beautiful. I called a local friend and asked where I could go for a traditional meal, and he suggested Al Matteotti Bistrot. I must say that Enzo and Domenico, the owners, welcomed me right away, making me feel right at home. Reading the menu, I was spoiled for choice, so I left it to myself. They served me some truly excellent appetizers and main courses, typical of the area and truly interesting in flavor. But beyond that, there's so much more to choose from, from sandwiches to salads, etc. When I return to Monreale, it will be my regular stop. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent cuisine at a very affordable price. You'll find it just a few meters from the Piazza del Duomo.
