03/04/2024: Few tables, nice place. The true flavors of the Aeolian Islands, the herbs, the aromas, the raw materials of the islands, very crunchy homemade bread. Dishes packaged with meticulous care and refinement. The owner Maurizio personally takes orders, competently advises customers and carefully monitors the kitchen and room service. Prices more than fair. Tasting menu at 30 euros including drinks. It is the best place we have frequented between Stromboli and Vulcano.

25/10/2023: Kleine, gemütliche Paninothek an einer schmalen Straße zum Hafen gelegen. Große Auswahl an belegten Panini. Diese sind gut belegt und das Brot weicht nicht durch. Selbst, wenn man sie zum mitnehmen kauft, bleiben sie angenehm kross. Große Auswahl an Weinen. Nette Bedienung.

09/03/2024: The place is worth a visit, if only for the spectacular location, on the slopes of the volcano which offer breathtaking views during eruptions. Not unforgettable food, we tried a sufficient margherita pizza, some appetizers, but we appreciated the service and the rustic environment of the structure. I don't know if it can still be reached by shuttle, which moved along a small, curvy uphill road which may have been interrupted, so that needs to be checked now otherwise the only way is to take a walk

19/01/2024: Andare a cena all'Osservatorio è una esperienza unica che consiglio a chiunque!!!! Una cosa veramente eccezionale, potere mangiare e osservare le esplosioni del vulcano. Luogo unico al mondo.

19/10/2023: Il locale ci è stato consigliato da amici del posto e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, tanto da ritornarci una seconda sera. Ottimi piatti e materie prime. Prezzi in linea con gli altri locali dell'isola.

13/10/2023: Sono stata a cena in questo posto da favola. Un insieme di cose perfette tra le portate di pesce freschissimo per viziare al massimo il palato e il posto magico dove si respirava l’area di storia romantica dal 1968… Ho ascoltato a bocca aperta la storia di generazioni che seguono questo posto, e si percepiva un qualcosa di emozionante… accostamento tra il pesce e verdure, salse e spezie, vino e amore per la cucina! Consiglio a 100%! Tornerò molto volentieri appena sarò di nuovo sull’isola 🙂

13/10/2023: This is a sophisticated restaurant. It felt like an oasis when we walked in. Their decor and music gave a cool jazzy vibe. Everything was simple yet perfect. Our server, Mario, took very good care of us all with a smile. He was busy but never rushed us. We had the Poseidon appetizer. It was a combination of all the Crudo that we wanted to sample. Our favorites were the langostini, the red tuna, and the red shrimp. They were so soft and flavorful. We also had a whole grilled orata and a half portion of fried mixed fish. Mario helped select wines to accommodate our tastes. We finished with a cannolo that came with three choices to dip the ends in. We loved the pistachio the best. I highly recommend!!!!

09/10/2023: Such fresh and good raw fish is difficult to find, but in this restaurant you can certainly taste it. The pasta and fish first courses are also delicious, as are the local wines paired with them. The desserts, in particular the cannoli with Vulcano sheep's ricotta, are also extraordinary. Price commensurate with the quality of the place. Absolutely worth trying.

08/01/2024: Ottima rosticceria con servizio gentile e rapido. Alle 13.00 precise vengono sfornati piatti della tradizione siciliana, vari e tutti gustosi.

19/10/2023: très bel accueil en terrasse spacieuse avec vue sur la mer . nous y avons déjeuner les deux jours de notre séjour à Caneto ; du choix ,de la qualité et de l originalité dans les menus . Le rapport qualité prix est excellent .

06/10/2023: Su consiglio dell' host del nostro b&b ci siamo ritrovati in questo splendido angolo di Lipari per ammirare uno dei tramonti più belli delle Eolie. I proprietari ci hanno subito accolto facendoci sentire a casa e, una volta raggiunta la sala per la cena, la qualità alta dei prodotti e la tradizione eoliana si sono sposati per farci degustare una delle cene più buone di Lipari. Ristorante a conduzione familiare dove passione, competenza e professionalità convivono e fanno la differenza. Grazie per aver reso il nostro soggiorno sull'isola speciale. P.s. complimenti alla mamma suocera per le sue capacità culinarie. Un saluto dalle guide turistiche napoletane!

22/09/2023: Location meravigliosa. Personale di una gentilezza unica. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. I proprietari ti accolgono con un sorriso che ti scalda l’anima e traspare immediatamente l’amore che mettono nel lavoro che svolgono. Assolutamente consigliato. Io ed il mio amico già da tre anni andiamo in questo meraviglioso ristorante e ogni viaggio a Lipari non può non includere un salto qui. Ci vediamo l’anno prossimo.

10/09/2023: Bellissima location subito fuori dalla via principale. Tutto è estremamente curato, dai tavoli al servizio. Abbiamo mangiato piatti di pesce molto buoni e molto particolari rispetto all'offerta degli altri ristoranti di Lipari. Eccellente materia prima. Prezzi nella media dell'isola (alti)

26/11/2023: Ai Gechi is a little tricky to find but if you follow the white Geckos along Via Roma you will find it. You need to book Ai Gechi to avoid disappointment as it is small and caters to slightly higher class that other restaurants on the island. The staff are very welcoming and friendly on arrival even without a booking they will try to seat you, They have a large win selection from Italy and make some amazing recommendations to go with your dinner. The menu consists mainly of fish dishes of which we have had many, our favourite are the local Nassa Shrimp which are cooked perfectly and taste amazing. This hidden gem of strombolian cuisine is another must visit for a finer dining experience on Stromboli island, perfect for a date night. Only criticism is Ai Gechi is an expensive place to eat, far more expensive that other island catering establishments, BUT, it does offer a finer experience with awesome views

La cortesia, la disponibilità del proprietario, la bontà del pesce ben cucinato e presentato, i prezzi in linea per la qualità servita sono state contrastate dalla mancata possibilità di scegliere il posto a sedere benché non ci fossero posti prenotati.
