04/08/2024: I got to know Casa Modó both before when it did catering and now when it only does receptions! I can say that it is a true culinary jewel, made even more special by the extraordinary hospitality of Mr. Franco and his wife Giovanna. Their friendliness and attention to detail transform every visit into an unforgettable experience. Each dish, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, reflects the authenticity of local cuisine. The attentive and never intrusive presence of Franco and Giovanna makes Casa Modó a place where you can truly feel at home. A visit I can't wait to repeat!

29/10/2024: Merveilleuse expérience dans ce très beau restaurant de Riposto. Les plats sont déjà très beaux à l’œil et en plus ils sont délicieux. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, nous remercions Maria pour son service irréprochable, son sourire et bravo pour ses quelques mots en français. Valérie et Jean-Vincent Esperienza meravigliosa in questo bellissimo ristorante di Riposto. I piatti sono già molto belli alla vista e in più sono deliziosi. 21/10/2024: Consigliato da amici abbiamo raggiunto Riposto che vanta un magnifico porto turistico con vista spettacolare dell'Etna. Raggiunto il ristorante ci accomodiamo in una sala con impianto architettonico in pietra lavica a vista e veniamo accompagnati al nostro tavolo. Da subito veniamo raggiunti da graziose ragazze (una di loro parla benissimo l'inglese: eravamo con una amica americana) che ci consegnano i menù e la carta dei vini. Dopo il primo assaggio di un olio eccellente ci servono il "benvenuto dello chef" (amuse bouce), ordinato il vino ed i piatti, veniamo serviti diligentemente. Mise en place spettacolare (non ho fatto foto perchè avevo premura di assaggiare) e cibo eccellente. Di astemio c'è solo il nome percè hanno una cantina di tutto rispetto con vini che spaziano dalla Siclia al nord Italia alla Francia. Esistono 2 menù degustazione ma abbiamo scelto alla carta, per un pasto quasi completo (alcuni hanno preso solo un piatto ed il dessert) con vino e grappa finale abbiamo pagato circa 50.00€ a testa. Che dire ... consigliatissimo !

13/08/2024: Rude and too slow in service. Too bad because the products aren't that bad. But for a commercial business, the relationship with the customer must be taken care of as well as the product being sold.

27/11/2024: In March 2024 I wanted to spend a weekend at yours. resort. Not everything went right. I was preparing to take my usual morning shower; upon entering the space used for it, I slipped, hitting the back of my head violently on the floor. Seven stitches were needed to stitch the wound. The shower compartment was not equipped with support handles and non-slip mats. The insurance company Allianz refused to compensate me, not recognizing the hotelier's responsibility. Knowing the timing of justice, I preferred to end it there. I am sure that after the unfortunate episode they have taken steps to make the spaces intended for guests safer. Nicolò Carlisi

27/10/2024: We had dinner at this fantastic restaurant a couple of days ago. There were two of us and we tried 1 tasting menu + 3 à la carte dishes. We were a little disappointed by the starters not because they weren't good but we were expecting something more. As for everything else, the aperitif, first courses, second courses and dessert are all truly exceptional! The environment is very nice, the service attentive and kind. The only negative note about which we were very disappointed, however, is that unfortunately we were unable to eat the second courses almost at all (not because they were not excellent but because they were too full) and unfortunately the restaurant is not equipped with anything to allow us to take home the food left, so two main courses were practically wasted almost entirely and we were really disappointed.

28/08/2024: 2 very jet-lagged Aussies, with little italian rocked up before dinner service. The hosts were so lovely and let us in early and served us drinks while the kitchen opened. Lovely staff and great drinks. The selection of Italian wines was amazing, while we didn't have a chance to a bottle ourselves, we saw the staff help many customers choose their perfect bottle. Food was lovely. Would recommend for a nice afternoon as you settle into your trip.

06/12/2024: I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Not only was the pizza really delicious, but I also found the staff to be truly qualified. They were kind and helpful, but at the same time very professional in their service. A truly positive experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to eat an excellent pizza and drink a good beer in a welcoming environment and with impeccable service

26/08/2024: A little corner outside the tourist masses with the best granita in the whole area. Try it to believe it!

10/11/2024: Poor quality sushi, the environment is ok, the waiters are very inexperienced, you have to ask them to receive attention otherwise they won't even bring you soy sauce. But sushi is dangerous, unfortunately the salmon in the nigiri was clearly dry and darkened, it was probably kept in the fridge from the day before and then served once again the next day. The gunkan were not made as they should, in fact the slices did not cover the rice, neither the tuna nor the salmon ones, the tuna was the classic poor all-you-can-eat variety. the photos speak for themselves, I'm sorry because the owner or manager was kind in the end but that's not okay, you can't do certain things with raw fish. I definitely don't recommend it.

02/12/2024: I stopped for lunch with some work colleagues, we had a fish starter and grilled shellfish with a bottle of wine and water and coffee. We will definitely be back, we were treated very well, impeccable service, good food. The restaurant is in a strategic position just after the Rimini Nord exit and has a large car park where truck drivers can also stop, I recommend it to everyone who passes through these parts.

10/11/2024: My husband and myself had two beautiful meals in Le Botti during our stay in lovely Riposto . We had tuna ,Risotto, sea bass bruscetta and cold meats. the staff were really very lovely.

24/11/2024: Terrible food. We paid too much for what we ate. The only positive note. The waiter who served the tables in a semi-deserted room was very kind.

16/10/2024: Very very good pizza restaurant Seasonal food (now a rarity) Excellent pizzas 🍕 The staff is trained and competent The owner is available and very clear in case of a banquet. One of the best venues in the area for many years Excellent

26/07/2024: Can’t recommend this place enough! I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of their incredible Etna view rooms, the room was well furnished and incredibly comfortable. We also were able to celebrate an important family birthday at the hotel. The owners kindly organised it all and made it a night to remember for my whole family for years to come. From the food to the views and hospitality throughout my stay this is the spot in Sicily I will be coming back to for years to come. Thank you to the owners and the staff for making us feel like friends and family.

22/05/2024: Poche recensioni ma la maggior parte con 5 stelle, quindi mi fido e prenoto. Eravamo inizialmente solo noi 2, abbiamo ordinato due antipasti e due paste… 35minuti di attesa per una tartare al salmone ed un carpaccio di pesce… la mia tartare era veramente grande, le prime forchettate erano buone, ma l’erba cipollina utilizzata come condimento era così tanta che alla quarta forchettata mi ha letteralmente sdegnata. La carbonara al salmone affumicato buona ma il sapore del formaggio sovrastava tutti gli altri ingredienti. Peccato, la location molto bella e le cameriere davvero gentili e disponibili… si può fare di meglio.

01/12/2024: I paid €15 for 2 slices of pizza (€8) 2 arancini (€4) a half liter bottle of water €3... The pizza weighed on the scales was €5 anyway and a few cents to be exact... Seen with my eyes... In short, I felt a bit cheated.. many thanks!

23/08/2024: Its an excellent restaurant to eat and enjoy the flavors of mixed spices and special tortillas with olive oil , also there are a huge variety of salad and it was perfect 👌
