17/07/2025: I celebrated my splendid wedding at Casa Modo. It was a wonderful event for both us, the bride and groom, and for our guests, who were extremely satisfied. The food was delicious, and the presentation was equally as delicious. The location is enchanting, and the professionalism of the staff is second to none, especially the director Franco Pappalardo and the maitre d' Giovanna, who, with their knowledge, organize the entire event, assisting the client from the choice of everything. The owners, Mr. Giovanni and his sister Emanuela, are extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable in their field, and are happy to advise the bride and groom or clients on various events. Simply... everything is FANTASTIC!!!

20/08/2025: An excellent location for a delicious dinner. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about any questions we had. We booked a week in advance to secure a spot.

15/08/2025: A wonderful experience with the family! The restaurant opens onto a small alley (hence the name "vico") with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the term "teetotal," as the wine list is truly impressive. Note that, in addition to featuring labels from all over Italy, the menu also places great emphasis on wines from the Etna area and Sicily in general. I say this because I appreciate the owner-chef's desire to showcase the richness of his homeland. The menu is very well curated and the ingredients are excellent. My favorite is undoubtedly "my arancino," a sort of deconstructed arancini (I hope the chef will forgive me if that's not the right word) with stew, truly delicious! A big thank you to chef-owner Massimiliano for sharing his stories about the birth of his wonderful restaurant, the fruit of hard work and passion for his craft.

05/09/2025: The owner and staff are professional and friendly. The owner in particular is meticulous and attentive. Delicious pastries, and the location is ideal for a break from the heat. Relaxing view of the Basilica's dome. Highly recommended!

04/09/2025: Disappointing, expectations were high, unfortunately the external appearance is deceptive and if it is true that the first taste is done with the eyes, the taste on the palate is not up to par, rejected

15/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal; we shared the sirloin steak as a starter, and for the main course, I had the double-cooked squid. The staff was very friendly, and the wines served by the glass were also delicious. In short: highly recommended!

30/08/2025: Yesterday I stayed at this seaside resort. It boasts a refined location, services that make guests feel at home, and an enchanting location with a view of the sea and Mount Etna. An oasis of peace, with a beautifully landscaped swimming pool nestled in the greenery of the park behind the main building. The real surprise was lunch: exceptional dishes, fresh, high-quality products, and attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. For these experiences, SAR gives an overall rating of 8.

06/07/2025: Excellent pizza and the pasta is also great, especially the pasta with pumpkin and sausage, tried on the waiter's advice and it turned out to be an excellent choice!!

29/06/2025: I went for dinner with friends, I found a pleasant atmosphere, impeccable service and the guys in charge of the service were fantastic, we ate very well... I highly recommend it🫶

06/09/2025: We could have had a great evening! The setting is pleasant with a sea view, and the tables are well-arranged on a comfortable terrace. The service? We felt like we were intruding from the aperitif to dessert. So, the language barrier, fine. But not a word during the entire meal. Not a smile; we felt uncomfortable. It's a shame. We won't be going back, despite the meal being quite good.

24/06/2025: Super super lecker und sehr authentisch! Toller Service und insgesamt einfach eine super Erfahrung! Wir waren auch im Agriturismo untergebracht und haben es sehr genossen.

06/06/2025: I've been to this place a couple of times and I've always had a decent time. The other day, after a long time, I went back with some friends and I have to say that I noticed a really significant leap in quality compared to the last time. The owner is very kind, helpful and always smiling, as are the waiters: young guys, but very good at their job. The cuisine has also improved a lot - maybe they changed chef? If so, they really made a great choice. I'll definitely be back! 🤗
