04/11/2024: We celebrated my daughter's first birthday and I want to thank all the staff of Casa Modò for the excellent success of the event. Excellent food, perfect quantities, elegant and very refined mise en place. We also had a great time starting from the organization of the evening. Very kind and helpful owners. A special thanks to the director, Mr. Pappalardo, an exquisite and super helpful person, together with the meitre Giovanna. People, serious, reliable and approachable. On a positive note and my most sincere compliments to the all-female dining room service, impeccable! Highly recommended!

03/01/2025: I was there during the Christmas period with my partner. A place with a unique atmosphere, which is not found everywhere. Delicious drinks with impeccable presentations, so much so that we did two rounds. Very good bruschetta! The staff very professional and kind. The (I think) owner, when booking the table the day before, also showed us the premises and the outdoor area to allow us to make the best choice, very kind, something that where I live now, in the North, does not exist. When I return to my Riposto, I will definitely return to Caffé Giorgia.

27/12/2024: Thank you for your kindness. We enter your restaurant as a group, the girl at the entrance greets us and we continue, seeing a few tables that can accommodate us all, we go out into the external room and sit at one of the free tables. After a few moments, the service employee reaches us, telling us that the table is booked, and despite many free tables (at 00:30) no one could be available for us, (no reservation or notice present on the table), explaining their entry methodology (non-existent when we entered), but afterwards they remembered... I believe that the treatment you gave us was rude, considering that we ourselves decided to leave the place. If you want to recreate the "French Living Room" you are in the wrong place. Once again, good work to you, and never again to me in your place. Bye Your response confirms the arrogance you dedicate to your customers ready to escape…

22/12/2024: Optimal. Friendly and qualified staff. Well done chef. Exceptional value for money. I often go to Vico Astemio and I recognize the chef's ability to grow in his work in a natural way. In his dishes you can sense creation and everything with simple and natural products. Compliments. Not everyone can create a fabulous dish with a simple artichoke or trunzo. . The environment is always well looked after. Excellent choice of music. And finally the staff who grew up with the restaurant: perfect, kind, professional and smiling. Go it's worth it.

29/11/2024: A truly remarkable culinary experience at Vico Astemio! The Malvasia and raspberry tiramisu is an extraordinary dessert, surprising the palate with its originality and finesse. The main course Spaghetti with black garlic, anchovies, and sea urchins, strike a perfect balance of bold and harmonious flavors. The young but highly professional staff elevate the experience with attentive and knowledgeable service. The Sicilian chef’s Massimiliano touch is evident in every dish, blending tradition with creativity in an exceptional way. Not to be overlooked is the extensive wine selection, which pairs wonderfully with each course. A must-visit for anyone seeking quality and originality!

25/11/2024: Very nicely decorated, very nice staff, delicious wine. Typically Italian dinner is only served from 2000 p.m.

08/10/2024: Very nice restaurant in Riposto. You can sit outside on a small side street or inside. Cozy, modern. The food is high quality and delicious. The wine selection is large and delicious. Friendly service included.

26/12/2024: Enchanting place, surrounded by nature with a view of Etna. Clean rooms and large spaces for the little ones. Excellent cuisine with typical and traditional dishes. Friendliness and professionalism guaranteed. I highly recommend!

10/11/2024: Poor quality sushi, the environment is ok, the waiters are very inexperienced, you have to ask them to receive attention otherwise they won't even bring you soy sauce. But sushi is dangerous, unfortunately the salmon in the nigiri was clearly dry and darkened, it was probably kept in the fridge from the day before and then served once again the next day. The gunkan were not made as they should, in fact the slices did not cover the rice, neither the tuna nor the salmon ones, the tuna was the classic poor all-you-can-eat variety. the photos speak for themselves, I'm sorry because the owner or manager was kind in the end but that's not okay, you can't do certain things with raw fish. I definitely don't recommend it.

30/12/2024: Eravamo andati quest estate per una pizza.Abbastanza buona niente da eccepire.Siamo tornati per pranzo domenica 29 Dicembre 2024. Grande delusione. Antipasto accettabile.Poi optiamo per un risotto che viene difficile definire ed illustrare .Un ammasso di pomodoro di origine sconosciuta che di mare aveva ben poco.Cozze n.3 proprio non profumate .Un altro piatto definito trittico di polpo non entusiasmava proprio. Sufficiente il piatto di paranza.Buono il sorbetto di limone. il prezzo pagato di 90 euro sarebbe stato gradito se la qualità degli alimenti fosse stata all altezza della freschezza e della maestria culinaria .Personale gentile e disponibile.

Zero professionalità Molta superficialità Sommelier sarà preparato, ma deve lavorare molto sul modo di relazionarsi con i clienti. 27/11/2024: In March 2024 I wanted to spend a weekend at yours. resort. Not everything went right. I was preparing to take my usual morning shower; upon entering the space used for it, I slipped, hitting the back of my head violently on the floor. Seven stitches were needed to stitch the wound. The shower compartment was not equipped with support handles and non-slip mats. The insurance company Allianz refused to compensate me, not recognizing the hotelier's responsibility. Knowing the timing of justice, I preferred to end it there. I am sure that after the unfortunate episode they have taken steps to make the spaces intended for guests safer. Nicolò Carlisi

22/10/2024: From the kitchen to the pizza, excellent dishes at very reasonable prices. And then finding them open late at night, in the downpour and turning the oven back on for you isn't bad. Thanks Always!

29/12/2024: È la granita più buona dell’hinterland. I prodotti sono di altissima qualità e genuini. Granite dai gusti originali e di ottima fattura. Il gusto pistacchio è il mio preferito. Ho consumato una granita Pistacchio, mandorla e corbezzoli con una brioche e un caffè pagando € 5. Prezzi modici, quatta alta. Consigliato.

26/07/2024: Can’t recommend this place enough! I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of their incredible Etna view rooms, the room was well furnished and incredibly comfortable. We also were able to celebrate an important family birthday at the hotel. The owners kindly organised it all and made it a night to remember for my whole family for years to come. From the food to the views and hospitality throughout my stay this is the spot in Sicily I will be coming back to for years to come. Thank you to the owners and the staff for making us feel like friends and family.

22/05/2024: Poche recensioni ma la maggior parte con 5 stelle, quindi mi fido e prenoto. Eravamo inizialmente solo noi 2, abbiamo ordinato due antipasti e due paste… 35minuti di attesa per una tartare al salmone ed un carpaccio di pesce… la mia tartare era veramente grande, le prime forchettate erano buone, ma l’erba cipollina utilizzata come condimento era così tanta che alla quarta forchettata mi ha letteralmente sdegnata. La carbonara al salmone affumicato buona ma il sapore del formaggio sovrastava tutti gli altri ingredienti. Peccato, la location molto bella e le cameriere davvero gentili e disponibili… si può fare di meglio.

01/12/2024: I paid €15 for 2 slices of pizza (€8) 2 arancini (€4) a half liter bottle of water €3... The pizza weighed on the scales was €5 anyway and a few cents to be exact... Seen with my eyes... In short, I felt a bit cheated.. many thanks!
