23/08/2024: A place of peace at the foot of Etna and a few km from the coast. The farmhouse is magnificent, the sounds of the countryside lull you during the day and the silence accompanies the night. The owner is very kind and always open to pleasant chats! Excellent food! Both restaurant and breakfast

12/09/2024: A wonderful evening. I am used to calibrating my expectations according to the place where I am and I must say that the level of the dishes offered is excellent. Everything is prepared with love, obsessively. The gourmet menus are a culinary experience, it is not a simple dinner, but much more. The carob tagliatelle and the roast rabbit really impressed me. The proposed wine, a home-produced rosé, a Neri Etna Rosato, from Nerello Mascalese with light hints of red fruits, pleasant acidity, accompanied the evening well. The service however, I am very sorry to say, was not always at the level of the dishes offered, nothing dramatic would be missing, but some things must be said. In my opinion there are three discordant notes; the gourmet menu includes the classic mini welcome aperitif, it would be absolutely welcome and thoughtful to also serve a very simple prosecco with this course. If you don't want to do it, you're welcome, don't leave me with the plate under my nose for 10 minutes waiting for the wine I ordered, it's not pleasant. The exquisite small pastry served at the end should also be accompanied by liqueur, a bitter, a coffee... even here, if you don't want to offer it, at least come and ask if I would like it. Of an experience people always remember how it began and how it ended, the central parts fade into memory. Having said this, I would recommend it and will certainly return. Kind regards Davide

Personale impeccabile e grande attenzione a non far mancare nulla alle mie figlie di 5 e 8 anni. Tantissimi assaggi offerti dallo chef, vere e proprie coccole. Consigliatissimo

04/07/2024: Very nice service and mostly very good pizza. The portions are quite large and they were very accommodating about giving us boxes to take home pizza. The choices of flavors are very interesting. We especially enjoyed the tre formaggio pizza (surprisingly great since it’s just 3 cheeses). The signature mundibeddo pizza was very good too. One of us found our pizza not as good, a bit too hard to cut.

27/08/2024: Harmonious, well-kept and welcoming place. Very kind, professional and friendly owners, especially with our little girl. Excellent wine cellar and spectacular menu. With their dishes they made me feel like a child again :) Very honest prices, we will return at the first opportunity!

30/11/2024: We found this place after a hike on Etna. Memorable culinary experience, indeed, a 360 degree experience. Welcoming place, refined products cooked with experience, especially the grilled donkey and fresh pasta. Absolutely recommended, also for the hospitality of the staff and owners.

24/11/2024: Bad experience. Starters all cold including those that should have been hot as well as the pasta which was also cold and tasteless. Poor quality grill. I won't go back there again.

17/08/2024: After a nice trip to Etna, we were lucky enough to have lunch in this restaurant. Hospitality and quality in food represent the objective of the property. Highly recommended.

08/08/2024: The service at the restaurant is terrible. The waitress manager (or it seemed like that) was rude from the start. We arrived in the middle of a hail storm and with 6 children he placed us at the table next to an open window. She refused our insistent request to close the window, forcing me to wear sweatshirts and jackets (8 August) because she couldn't stand the stale air that would have been created. After a long time he decided to close the window but opened the fire door still next to us, letting in double the cold. In addition to this episode, rudeness was always present: in ordering, clearing dishes and in general conversation. At the time of the bill they were "forgetting" the receipt. To be honest... the food has always been excellent... but unfortunately this isn't enough in catering.

03/08/2024: We stopped here for lunch as part of our organized Etna day tour. This beautiful rustic setting amongst the canopy of trees on Mt Etna was great.

24/10/2024: Bad experience, I went to the butcher's shop and explicitly asked for Messina chicken rolls, whoever served me gave me chicken nuggets that had nothing to do with what was requested even if they were aesthetically similar. I felt cheated, even though the recipe is not strictly local, the butcher's shop had some Messina-style beef rolls on display, so they could easily have told me that they weren't available with chicken, rather than foist one thing on me for another (among 'another excessive price for simple breaded chicken, absolutely simpler processing than the Messina-style roulade, certainly not 16 euros per kilo). Incorrect and superficial attitude, I don't think it was a misunderstanding given that when I was served there was no confusion and the only customer was me.

01/10/2024: Perfect service. We were in a hurry so just ordered burgers and they were fast, tasty and full of fries. Recommended
