08/07/2025: Shalai Resort is an elegant boutique hotel in Linguaglossa, on the slopes of Mount Etna, in the province of Catania. This 4-star hotel is located in a beautifully restored 19th-century historic building. The rooms feature a modern yet warm style, some with whirlpool tubs. The Shalai Restaurant, with its contemporary Sicilian cuisine and 1 Michelin star, offers excellent dishes and a spacious and well-stocked wine cellar. There is a spa with a Turkish bath, whirlpool, sauna, and wellness treatments; although small, it is very welcoming. Perfect for relaxing, food, and nature experiences. I highly recommend it ❗️

26/09/2025: Very warm welcome, on the road to the craters of North Etna. Room and breakfast were decent. The evening meal was excellent and plentiful. My gluten intolerance was taken into account at all meals.

31/05/2025: The best - excellent food and accommodations. Big breakfast. Small private house/cabin with own front porch with expansive views. Will come back.

08/10/2025: I have been a customer for many years and to taste the arancini I am usually willing to travel 35 km there and back. I recommend you try the pastry shop and the hot food shop, but especially the delicious arancini!! I love Sicilian pastry shops and hot food shops, but in my opinion their arancini are the best and freshest in the entire province!! I also recommend you try the delicious ice creams and granitas in the summer. I recommend this bar to everyone!! And a special thanks to the managers and their respective families.

13/09/2025: The croissants and iris are delicious, I recommend trying them! The croissant dough is very flaky and light.

15/08/2025: My boyfriend and I are from Milan, and we stayed at this hotel at MareNeve for six nights. We had dinner here three times, and it was the best we've ever eaten. If we ever get back to this area, we'll definitely be back. We'd love to shake the chef's hand, his compliments!

15/08/2025: Incredible food! We dined at this restaurant three times during our stay and were amazed each time by the quality of the dishes. Highly recommended, and the prices are very affordable for everyone. The staff are also very attentive and available to meet every need. We'll definitely be back, perhaps with friends, to show them what we're talking about. 😉

08/08/2025: Spectacular food. Service less so. Granted, it was Tuesday, but there was just one guy waiting tables outside, topping pizzas inside, and charging people. Let's face it, there were about 20 seats outside, plus all the takeout. Even though he's very good and fast, he can't double up. The service was slow and inattentive. We waited over 30 minutes for the appetizer, without water (oversight, but that's understandable), and another 40 for the pizzas. Otherwise, a really nice little place to enjoy a cool summer evening.

07/08/2025: An excellent pizza! Mungibeddu Pizzeria in Linguaglossa is truly exceptional: light and fragrant dough, ultra-fresh ingredients, and attention to detail that makes all the difference. The basil is carefully added just before serving, a testament to the passion they put into every single pizza. Impeccable, courteous, and fast service. An authentic experience, combining tradition and a love of quality. Highly recommended for takeout, especially for the excellent quality boxes.

17/09/2025: Arriving late, we were greeted warmly and courteously. The food was excellent, plentiful, reasonably priced, and there was a nice wine list. Stefi's charm is a real plus, engaging, and very friendly!

15/09/2025: Stefy and her brother have a very nice restaurant with great personal service. The food is delicious and they recommend nice wines in combination with the meals. We came back three times during our stay in the Etna region.

09/10/2025: A great place with excellent food. Its biggest advantage: you can enjoy a hot dinner before 7 p.m. I recommend stopping by after a day hiking the slopes of Mount Etna.

08/10/2025: Lovely traditional place the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The red wine was especially nice.

31/08/2025: A quiet and very scenic place. An ancient winery, a grove where weddings can be celebrated, and a beautiful pool. In short, a perfect location.

22/08/2025: I stayed at this property with my children. The hamlet is surrounded by greenery and has a well-equipped swimming pool, although I didn't see a lifeguard. The place is large and well-maintained, but the staff, while friendly and helpful, seemed inexperienced. I expected a breakfast with traditional products, easily found on site, but while there was a good selection, the quality was poor.

09/10/2025: A retro atmosphere where the emphasis is on the essentials...drinking and eating. The pizzas are simple, but packed with ingredients without being heavy. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and stylish, modern decor that still felt authentically Sicilian. The menu showcased local flavors beautifully—every dish was bursting with depth and character. We especially appreciated how the ingredients celebrated the region’s culinary traditions. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. A wonderful spot to enjoy genuine Sicilian hospitality and cuisine. Highly recommended!

17/06/2025: Nice little shop. You can sit inside or take the pizza to go. The service was friendly and attentive.
