10/07/2026: Location in front of the sea, fresh fish, excellent service thanks to Camillo and his wife who are two very kind people always available, I highly recommend it if you want to spend a quiet evening eating excellent fish 😊

The appetizers are delicious, like the spider crab and shrimp risotto and the swordfish and eggplant scialatielli. Thank you for the delicious dinners you offered us!

Since then, I've become a loyal customer and continue to return regularly. The food is consistently excellent, the service is excellent, and the quality never disappoints. If you're looking for a place that guarantees quality, whether for special occasions or a casual dinner, Antiche Botti is the place to be.

La Luminaria offers takeout, delivery, and dine-in. The pizzas are rich and flavorful, but we especially enjoyed the fried calzones and the arancini with meat sauce. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the proximity to the Giarre highway exit is convenient.
30/04/2026: That was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Simply outstanding 🌟 The restaurant is simply furnished and absolutely spotless, even the restroom! The pizzaiolo works hygienically and with great care.
I wish we lived nearby so we could always enjoy such delicious pizza!

We went in and waited about 7-8 minutes, said hello, stood in front of the kitchen door, and waited some more. No one ever came out to greet us, so we left.
There were also guests sitting at two tables, but no one was in sight, so embarrassed we had to leave.

22/12/2025: Dear, this isn't Navigli or Paris. The whole menu will make you gain weight: too much oil in the fries and other Italian dishes.

I rediscovered the quality that has always distinguished this historic pastry shop, among the best in the Giarre area. Each product is made with care, attention, and passion—quality that's not so easy to find these days.
In addition to the excellence of the specialties offered, you can sense a serene, welcoming, and highly professional atmosphere, where customers are greeted with a smile and genuine warmth.
Congratulations to all the staff for the work you do with dedication every day. I'll be back much more often to enjoy a delicious granita and excellent coffee, prepared with the passion that truly makes the difference. Congratulations!

20/04/2026: I immediately fell in love with this location... We celebrated my daughter's baptism. Breathtaking views with Her Majesty Mount Etna in the background, a minimalist yet refined atmosphere, and truly delicious food. All the staff were fantastic, but a special thanks goes to Angela, the chef, and the maitre d' Giusy, who coordinated the entire event. Our guests were delighted. Thank you for everything.
18/04/2026: It's actually a nice, small, quiet hotel with modern rooms and a great pool. However, the rooms are not soundproof, and the restaurant is very noisy due to its architecture and the constant music. Many small things about the service were unpleasant (e.g., no coffee in the room, dirty balcony chair, unprofessional service staff). Breakfast was okay. There was an extra charge for an afternoon cappuccino on the restaurant terrace. At €220 per night for a double room, we expected more.

15/06/2026: Disappointing experience. Pizza with practically no toppings, thin, and tasteless. I paid 8.50 for a pizza that had no flavor. I was tempted to have it remade. The welcome at the table was without any greeting or attention, ditto at the cash register where we waited without being taken into consideration. Very nice location, but otherwise I give it a 4.

You sit down and are overwhelmed by the deliciousness: slushies to die for, coffee that awakens the soul, pasta dishes so delicious you wipe your plate with bread. You can taste the quality, you can taste the passion. Impeccable and fast service, with a smile that never hurts.

15/03/2026: I visited the chocolate shop for the first time a couple of days ago. The first thing I noticed was the warm, welcoming atmosphere, the stylish furnishings, the posters on the walls, the frescoes on the ceiling...everything speaks of a time lived with memories of serenity...not to mention the chocolate...sweet, bitter, chili pepper...something for every taste, a bewildering selection...so many possibilities. Thank you for being here, and thank you to the Finocchiaro family for what they have done and maintained over time, impeccably and with such passion!
