It has a delicatessen with Iberian ham and a good selection of cheeses and wines. The service is very friendly. The restrooms are adequate, although there was no soap or towels at the time of our visit. Accessibility is moderate.

23/06/2026: All the food we ordered was delicious and carefully cooked in a homely manner. Four of us have been there several times and have always had a great time. The wait times were just right. I would definitely recommend it!

12/09/2025: I spent some unforgettable years at this café. Every morning—and I mean every morning—before school, it was my regular stop, along with so many kids from other schools and mine. I'll never forget the piping hot cappuccino and the walnut braid. Best wishes to Mr. Vasta, who sadly won't remember me.

20/06/2026: Terrible service. I went yesterday to buy some sweet and savory items, and when I asked if I could cut them, they snorted. I asked if they had any mini pizzas, and they rudely replied, "Whatever you see!" When they refused to cut me two pieces of facaccia, I asked if they could provide me with a pack of disposable cutlery, and they told me they couldn't. When I offered to pay, they told me they'd have to ask!! I was speechless. Terrible service. I don't know how they stay open. Shame on me... and I didn't bring it all back! I will not recommend it. I recommend taking a course in good manners.

15/02/2026: Giarre, CT. Via Vittorio Alfieri, 108. Corner of Corso Messina. Artisan pastry shop since 1955. Gelateria, café, and snack bar. We had a good breakfast and ordered both sweet and savory food to go. We had a great time.

21/07/2026: this review is long time overdue… however I must recommend this place to anyone who has the chance!!! we visited the bakery back in April this year. the pastries are hot, fresh and delicious and you can tell they were made with love and experience. you’ll definitely find something for yourself - whether you prefer sweet or savory. me and my friend tried probably half of the menu and there wasn’t a thing that wasn’t delicious. the prices are very good too! we met the owner as well as his daughter and chatted a little, she taught us some Italian and it was a very pleasant time to be there (we had to visit a second time when we were passing by again)

30/04/2026: This hamburger restaurant has an outdoor structure that can be closed and opened, ideal for summer. It can accommodate about 15-20 people. The ground floor is smaller inside, with tables for 2 and 4, plus a raised level. The place itself is welcoming. Friendly staff, waiting time about 20 minutes, but it depends on what you order and whether it's quite busy. One thing we didn't like, but that's just my personal opinion, is the music volume, which is a bit too loud, especially on the smaller ground floor inside. It's annoying. The food is excellent, with generous portions (including fries), and the meat is cooked to perfection. A well-deserved 5 stars.

18/04/2026: Even though we had booked by phone, we had to wait at the table for an hour to be able to eat the pizza... good, especially the mozzarella... the only flaw, which is not the pizzeria's fault, was the presence of a very noisy table!

04/04/2026: I went to this restaurant tonight with three other people, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways. When ordering, we were informed that we couldn't choose Venere rice, which we found limiting, especially since it was a Saturday night. We arrived at 9:30 PM and didn't receive our poke until 10:15 PM, so we had a rather long wait. One of the poke, ordered with a double protein option (which cost more), arrived with only one protein option: the shrimp tempura was missing. After pointing this out, the dish was taken back and returned with only one shrimp added, a decidedly insufficient amount considering the extra charge. Another poke, however, was completely missing the mango. As for the sushi box, a few pieces were brought to us after a further wait, and only then were we informed that the tuna wasn't available and they had to change the order. We also didn't like the sushi: it was too heavy, the rice was sticky, and the portions were unbalanced, with too much rice and too little seasoning. Overall, between the disorganization, long waits, and subpar quality, it was a negative experience. We won't be returning.

Dolfin is short for Dolceria Finocchiaro, named after its founder, Santo Finocchiaro, who began producing sweets and candies in Giarre in 1914. It is known throughout Italy for its famous Polaretti popsicles. It produces chocolate sweets for the holidays and, during the holiday season, also Easter eggs.
