The pizza has a thick crust (at my express request), but since we're talking about a Sicilian pizza, not a Neapolitan one, the crust is bready and not soft. Furthermore, the pizza is too thin in the center, which tends to make it cut poorly as you tend to cut it in the center. The pizza I ordered, the yellow gourmet one, was missing—according to the menu—basil, and more importantly, the burrata stracciatella isn't a white cream used to make a lattice. Since I often visit Puglia, I can say with certainty that the stracciatella is made of shredded mozzarella mixed with very fresh cream, so it's not a fondue like the pizza. The total price for a plate of chips with their skins on, a medium beer, a small beer, and two medium-sized pizzas was fair: €40.

I want to clarify: this review isn't meant to discredit the goodwill of the entire staff, nor to cast doubt on the positive reviews prior to this one. It's the first Saturday night in June, so definitely not the best day in terms of quiet for a venue. We called around 9:40 PM to see if there was a table available for five people as soon as possible, without asking for a specific time, so we could sit down. The response was that they could give us a table in 20 minutes, so we arrived at the venue around 10 PM, where we still waited a good 20 minutes to be seated (but that's understandable, we arrived in the middle of the evening). They seated us and took our order for fries, which arrived fairly quickly, along with drinks; and here's where the bad part begins. The fries arrived, accompanied by small plates but without any cutlery or napkins. Now, I could certainly hear you say that "you just had to ask," but since I've been doing the same job for 6 years straight, when I personally set the table for new customers, it was always set up fully equipped... since you're supposed to eat at a pizzeria 🥲. After about ten minutes, we ordered the pizzas (in the meantime, it was 11 pm, the place was starting to empty out) and we waited almost an hour from ordering the pizzas until they arrived at the table. Okay, maybe they still had other orders to clear out, I understand that and I'm not criticizing them. But, in those 50 minutes or so, one thing really annoyed me and made the staff unprofessional: we noticed how quickly they cleared the tables as they vacated, while we were left with plates dirty with chips and still without napkins or silverware. The best part comes when the pizzas arrive at the table: I was sitting with my plates stacked exactly where I was, and when the pizza arrived (mine was the first), the bewildered waiter left my place next to the pile of plates and finally cleared away the dirty plates. Typically, they clear the tables where diners are still waiting for their food first, and then the empty tables (no, those tables weren't waiting for anyone else because there were no more people waiting. The tables remained empty for the rest of our stay), so there was no reason to leave us with dirty plates and clean empty tables. The icing on the cake was when all five pizzas arrived, but NO CUTLERY. Guys, we didn't ask for any when the pizzas were delivered, but the attentive eye of the trained staff noticed that the silverware was missing from the table. While waiting for someone to show up, a waiter came by and asked us if "something was missing"...yes, the silverware. Incredible, but it was a couple of minutes before the silverware arrived. The end result: good pizza ingredients, rubbery dough, and a pizza that seemed undercooked... I was so hungry I finished it (and also because it's almost midnight and I don't ask for another pizza). Let's just say the dough had risen in my stomach last night. Now, it was certainly a unique and rare coincidence that won't happen again, and that's why I'm referring to the preamble, because I understand that nights like this might happen. But it was a complete lack of interest in the customer (or our table, I don't know) and the minimum standard of a place that calls itself "gourmet." Setting a table without silverware or napkins and without clearing the table, not even in the worst kebab shop... let's leave the pizza alone, I prize the ingredients but not the dough, the rest is just plain lacking. I hope it was the only occasion. A very beautiful place, with a lovely, bright outdoor area. Good work PS: Since a review written with objective honesty and courtesy is met with the response that I should take a pizza-making course, I'll say with all sincerity that you could make the best pizza in the world, but quality isn't just on the plate.

Pizzeria near Giarre station. Spectacular pizza. Good, high-quality ingredients, friendly staff. We didn't have a long wait even though it was Saturday night. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant, discovered by chance a year ago in the old location. Never been disappointed. We waited for the new opening, and the new restaurant is beautiful and elegant, with a private and intimate outdoor space. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Excellent quality. I eat here on average once a week. Affordable prices. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

The pizza was very leavened. It was too thin in the center. One small negative note about the desserts: my red velvet was completely frozen. It should have been taken out at least an hour before serving. I pointed this out to the owner, but she didn't seem to care.

Good pizza, nice atmosphere, even the table staff were professional. The only flaw I found in a nice atmosphere was not having adequate heating, I hope it was just a coincidence, but dining in a coat is not comfortable and leaving there cold is not nice.
