01/05/2025: Hospitality and professionalism characterize this bar. Being there for a school event, what struck us most, being in the company of a girl in a wheelchair, was the presence of a platform designed specifically for people with disabilities. This shows a real respect for inclusion and respect for ALL CUSTOMERS. It is rare to find a place that combines quality of service and attention to everyone's needs and this bar does it excellently.
I recommend this bar to anyone who wants to find quality food, customer care and respect for everyone

08/10/2025: We have been in Italy for five weeks on the road dining out and this is by far the best restaurant experience we have had. Do not miss dining here if you are in the area. The ambience, service, menu and food quality is simply brilliant. In addition the welcoming staff were amazing in accommodating our poor Italian language. I give Piva’s 10 stars!!

18/08/2025: They make several types of bread. The deli is good, but a bit pricey considering it's a bakery. The croissants are the same price as a café. The place is small, and you often have to wait in line outside. Parking is difficult, and the staff are rude.

21/12/2025: This restaurant is located at the beginning of the famous Caltagirone steps, and has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Service is prompt and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, especially the "La Scala" pasta, which we would have eaten again. The fries were hot and crispy, and the grilled meat was delicious. A great experience.
09/12/2025: We went for a company lunch! Everything was excellent! The place was welcoming and the set menu delicious! Italian appetizers (with special mention for the frittatina with peppers and caponata), two pasta dishes (one with walnut sauce and the other, the chef's signature, "la scala" with fennel and sausage), and dessert to finish! The service was impeccable, the staff were very kind and attentive!
We will definitely visit you again! Thank you.
