09/06/2025: If you want to spend a different Sunday this is the right place, I highly recommend booking, a truly unique location, with attention to detail, large air-conditioned dining rooms, fast and impeccable service, everyone smiling and attentive to meeting the needs of the customer, outside a large space where you can admire many species of animals and at the end of the path an enchanting natural waterfall.

Atmosfera familiare; una sala arredata all'uso delle antiche osterie; una porta aperta sulla cucina, dove sfaccenda un'anziana e vispa signora; un giovane per nulla affannato, che si propone ai tavoli con encomiabile efficienza e professionalità. E poi le pietanze: un menù sobrio e misurato. Primi semplici e tradizionali, come i maccheroni freschi fatti a mano, conditi con un saporitissimo sugo di maiale; e i secondi, come la grigliata mista di carni locali, da fare invidia ad un qualsiasi piatto gourmet. Prezzi onestissimi e certamente inferiori alla qualità e alla genuinità dei prodotti proposti in tavola. Da tornarci.... una prima, una seconda e una terza volta. E anche più!!

We, twowheeltours, have been running cycling tours all around the world since 2009 ... it is always fantastic to deal with people who understand hospitality. The rooms were great, food top-shelf and riding in the area was fantastic. We will be back.

14/02/2025: Twenty years ago, or so, I entered Di Vincenzo's for the first time. Since then it has been an obligatory detour when I am near the mountain, Etna. Arriving in Bronte is a unique experience: those who have never seen pistachio trees find themselves faced with an incredible landscape in every season. They have always reminded me of Mondrian's tree, with those downward curves of the branches. Di Vincenzo is on the road, you can't go wrong. You enter and never want to leave again. For the record: there I tasted my first real pistachio ice cream, which can now also be found in other ice cream shops. Not the almost psychedelic green I was used to, but a hazelnut with hints of green and violet. And a unique taste. Speaking of pistachios. Those of Bronte are oblong. And they have purple skin: the others that are on the market and pass themselves off as Bronte pistachios come from Iran or in any case from the Middle East. The taste of Bronte pistachios is unique and inimitable. And you can take it home: Di Vincenzo's specialty are the boxes with almond pastes and pistachio pastes, but don't leave there without a pistachio cake. It doesn't look like anything else (vaguely reminiscent of the hazelnut cake typical of Piedmont, in terms of processing and humidity, if you really have to compare it to anything). And it is so particular that it even deserves a telephone order first, to avoid the risk of not finding it.

07/05/2025: I find the quality of the pistachio products excellent, perhaps among the few to use real pistachios from Bronte, I recommend trying it to believe it.
