14/10/2024: We ate there today with 4 people. Very nice, friendly welcome and very nice atmosphere. We were welcomed with a small glass of champagne and a bottle of water and then we had the typical Sardinian bread with olive oil. The food we ordered, from pizza to chicken schnitzel to the Courlogiones, were very tasty. By the way, the Courlogiones are highly recommended. And even half a portion of it wasn't a problem at all. At the end there was a small schnapps and a spoonful of tiramisu on the house. Also super tasty! Tiramisu was expressly stated to be lactose-free. If I could, I would give more stars!

10/10/2024: It is located in a hidden corner of Tortolì but we stumbled upon it thanks to their positive reviews and never was a more appropriate choice 😍! The menu is minimalist but you go there to taste the typical Ogliastra dish, culurgiones 🙈! Franco's are produced by his mother and his 4 sisters according to the ancient Ogliastra tradition 😃! As soon as you sit down, as a welcome, a glass of prosecco and some guttiau bread... excellent I'd say 👏! You absolutely must order the myrtle and limoncello produced by them as well as dipping your spoon into their sublime tiramisu 😍! Annalaura was very sweet serving us during dinner under a wonderful starry sky ❣! Thanks guys... keep it up 👏👏👏!

25/01/2025: A nice restaurant with typical Sardinian and non-Sardinian furry friends. Well-planned and plentiful dishes: we took a hot and cold seafood starter which was out of this world, then culurgiones and seafood fregola which was really very, very good. And then a fabulous dessert which was raviolini with ricotta and lemon, very particular and good.

09/01/2025: Modern and refined environment, menu full of different dishes and local specialities, both land and sea. Really tasty dishes, excellent quality and ingredients. The pasta stuffed with both mushrooms and bottarga is delicious. Polenta with special sheep, tasty but delicate.

13/01/2025: Gorgeous! The food is good, but the warmth of the staff, especially the owner, is fantastic! We went with 6 children and they were uniquely helpful and understanding! Super recommended place!!

06/01/2025: First dinner in Sardinia for me and my boyfriend and we had a great time! A warm and welcoming staff who gave us excellent advice so that we could discover Sardinian cuisine as much as possible in one meal. Everything homemade and everything delicious.

04/02/2025: Luogo affascinante, che fa parte di un hotel sulla spiaggia di Frailis. Buon livello, cucina di pesce curata e ben presentata. Servizio professionalmente valido, anche se manca un po’ di simpatia. Conto sui 50 euro.

22/12/2024: Establishment ideally located by the sea with a private beach that always has a sunbathing area. Thank you for the distribution of fresh watermelon in the afternoon. Infinity pool with jacuzzi. Perfect wellness area, special mention to Serena for the massage. The staff of the establishment are remarkably kind and available. The room does not suffer from any criticism. Exceptional cleanliness. Well done to the housekeepers. Safe, mini bar, and storage space. Electrical outlets on each side of the bed. Decent WiFi included. Our room overlooked the back of the hotel, no noise. Large balcony. The half board is of incredible quality and choice, the restaurant menu is varied, the breakfast offers a huge choice and the products are fresh. Evening aperitif served with toast, peanuts, chips and olives. This hotel lacks secure parking for motorcycles. But you should know that it is possible at the campsite right next door. I highly recommend and congratulate this establishment.

07/11/2024: Siamo stati in questo storico ristorante una sera di luglio a cena con degli amici. Nonostante il ristorante fosse pieno il servizio è stato rapido cortese e pronto a soddisfare le richieste dei clienti. I piatti sono ben presentati con l’attenzione per la tradizione e con la cura per la scelta delle materie prime fresche. Ottima esperienza da consigliare.

02/11/2024: Dear La Baia team, we would like to thank you again for the marvellous food and the excellent atmosphere at your restaurant. We can’t keep track of how many years we have been your guests, it feels more like family members anyway. 10? 12 years? Every October and sometimes Easter... The best pizza ever, the best culurgiones (typical Sardinian pasta), calamari arrosto, frittura di calamari, orata arrosto, I could go on because we have tried the most of what’s on your “plate”. Last but not least, the “Misto della Baia” is exceptional as a starter. It serves two people well and one still has enough room for the main dish. But it’s not only the food what makes us come back to you a couple of times every year. It is also the atmosphere. You are just honest. You yawn openly when you are tired late in the evening cleaning the tables. You smile when you are happy and you don’t when there are so many people that it’s really stressful and you can hardly keep the pace. You never pretend anything. This is what makes you authentic and a real family restaurant that we always come back to and know that we can also feel at ease and be our honest selves. This is exceptional. As I am 52 and my husband 71, that means YOU are THE RESTAURANT OF OUR LIFE. There is no other that we have visited more often or will WANT TO visit more often in our entire life. 25/01/2025: Excellent restaurant. The owner is very helpful and kind. Especially with children. We ate a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, very abundant and particularly good. Cured meats that melted in your mouth. Then we took the malloreddu and culurgiones which were amazing. All washed down with an excellent bottle of Vermentino.

14/02/2025: The service could be better. You need to treat customers equally and not by knowledge. Some waiters don't even give you a kindness. We want to serve a sandwich with a smile rather than in a cold and belittling way. It offers a variety of tasty burgers, prepared with fresh and well-seasoned meat. The atmosphere is welcoming, it looks like a 60's Grease movie style place. In general, a good place for those who want to enjoy a burger with a beer.

16/10/2024: Quando venivo in Sardegna negli anni 70, di ristoranti pochi e senpre con porceddu. poco pesce e cucinato semplicemente. Ora +è tutto cambiato anche se non sempre, vista l materia fresca presente, il risultato culinario è all'altezza. Alla cantonera (vecchia casa cantoniera) lungo la linea ferroviaria a scartamento ridotto che parte dal vicino porto di Arbatax, si trova un'ottima cucina di mare e non, con qualche rivisitazione ma sempre ben riuscita. Ottima frittira di mare che si scioglie in bocca e primi gustosi e prelibati. IL personale all'altezza salvo magari qualche confidenza di troppo e una maggiore velocità nel servizio. Ma sono dettagli. Parcheggio di fronte . E' anche un hotel di un certo livello. Vicino cè la sughereta parco pubblico con giochi bimbi.

06/10/2024: We had dinner, a mix of appetizers, Catalan tuna, mussels in sauce, octopus and potato salad, shrimp with pistachio crust and salmon meatball, they were not bad, but very commercial, the meatball had absolutely no taste of salmon, a second first course , and fried fish, I expected much more from this restaurant, as they described it very well to me. I was partly disappointed
