07/08/2025: A small restaurant in the historic center of Salve. A welcoming and pleasant atmosphere, despite being in a closed courtyard. Original yet understated dishes, with Mediterranean and Salento flavors, always well-prepared. Fair prices.
29/07/2025: The food was good, but the service was very disappointing. As tourists, we felt unwelcome – the staff barely spoke English and made little effort to help us. It's a shame, because with a little more hospitality, this could have been a wonderful experience.

03/05/2025: I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review, but the experience at this beach was disappointing in several respects.
Prices not very transparent: Although I asked for a quote, the prices were not clearly displayed and I had the impression that they were set arbitrarily based on the customer. This is unacceptable for a business open to the public.
Incomplete information: During the estimate phase, I was not informed that the umbrella would be placed on the lawn, away from the sea. Furthermore, the daily cost of 50 euros is excessive to say the least, even considering that it was August.
Bad weather management: During some days of severe bad weather, the situation was managed in an unorganized manner. There was no presence from management to reassure or assist customers, leaving them completely to their own devices at a difficult time.
No attention to customers: In the midst of the chaos, management did not show thoughtfulness or offer initiatives to put customers at ease, such as a small gift or a temporary solution to ease the inconvenience.
In conclusion, this experience left an extremely negative impression. I would advise the management to improve both price transparency and emergency management to offer a more adequate and respectful service for guests.
15/04/2025: Lido del sol with it simplicity it's a dream place to be , it's an angle of beauty, a place filled with happiness. I had an unforgettable memories, well recommendable place. I am definitely having my 2025 summer in lido del sol

01/08/2025: Durante una giornata di mare per ovviare ai soliti panini ed insalate abbiamo scelto Stella del mare per un piatto di pasta,servizio veloce abbiamo preso strozzapreti ai frutti di mare e orecchiette alla specchiese,vi consiglio entrambi e nell attesa abbiamo preso polpette di tonno deliziosissime

11/05/2025: 4x pieces (10€), good dough, nice service, you can only take away or sit outside on two corners (where it was raining and it was also windy), otherwise it's not a jewelry box, but it's very solid, more suitable for the hand and on the go (there's a large space opposite)

02/08/2025: Cena da asporto, tagliolini al nero di seppia con gamberi rossi, 88 euro per 4 porzioni assolutamente prive di sapore, i tagliolini sembravano pasta comprata al supermercato e “di seppia” non avevano proprio nulla. Personalmente lo sconsiglio, pessima esperienza.

12/08/2025: I went with my partner for pizza and was pleasantly surprised. We had some very good fried food, especially the potato panzerotti with mint. I also liked the pizzas, which were well-cooked, especially the pizza with cherry tomatoes and arugula.
The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was attentive and precise. The only advice I can give for desserts is to serve them at room temperature, otherwise they risk being too cold.
The prices are above average, especially considering we're in a seaside town.

We waited over an hour for a pizza, and the restaurant was almost empty.
The waiters rush back and forth without bringing anything and are rude to customers.
This restaurant is not recommended.

16/07/2025: We've been vacationing for six days at a Masseria near this fantastic restaurant. Tradition, quality, and kindness have made our dinners a true culinary delight. The seafood and other dishes are truly excellent. A must-try for anyone in the area. Excellent value.
28/06/2025: Very simple but decent place. The owners put a lot of effort into it, nothing pretentious, good pizza, good first courses. Obviously you don't go to this place for a great kitchen in a small town like Salve, a real village place.

16/08/2025: This place was recommended to me by locals as the best traditional restaurant in Vinci. We went for lunch today. Besides the typical Tuscan atmosphere, the kindness and hospitality typical of this area, we had a divine meal; the tagliata was excellent. The recommendation was spot on.
15/07/2025: I don't usually write negative reviews, but this time it felt necessary. At Ristorante La Torretta, near the Conti Guidi castle in Vinci, the experience was disastrous. Despite clarifying that we had two vegetarians, we were served platters of prosciutto and chicken liver pâté, along with pizza strips, bread, and focaccia. The first courses didn't improve the situation: raw pappardelle with wild boar and ricotta and spinach ravioli with a bitter aftertaste. The pork steak, served practically charred, made one of the guests feel ill, and he vomited shortly thereafter.
As if that weren't enough, at a certain point the room filled with smoke from the kitchen, making it unbreathable.
Finally, a hefty bill capped off this awful experience. Truly unpleasant, and I strongly advise against it.

17/08/2025: We had lunch at their bar. I can't say I had a bad meal, but I did say I spent a lot.
They adjusted to "New York" prices.
Before anyone makes a big deal out of it by saying that prices are displayed and you can decide to go elsewhere, I'll say that I generally agree, but sometimes you're forced to "stay," but that doesn't mean they should take advantage of it.
Anyway, the staff is friendly and fast, the cashier is super professional, the food is good, well-made, but extremely expensive.
Salento is no longer the place it once was: high prices, but subpar service.
27/07/2025: Excellent for breakfast, they sell delicious croissants that they fill on the fly. For lunch, I had an excellent friselle with a side dish and a giant hamburger. To finish, I had a Salento almond coffee. The price for sun loungers and an umbrella was also excellent.

16/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo piccolo ristorante. La signora (proprietaria credo) è molto gentile.
Abbiamo preso orecchiette alle cozze per primo e polpette al sugo per secondo, tutto da dividere.
Le orecchiette già ce le ha portate in piatti separati. Buona la porzione.
Erano molto molto buone e le cozze molto saporite. Ottime anche le polpette.
Prezzo nella media: 1 primo, 1 secondo, 1 acqua, 1 lattina tanta e 1 caffè 37 euro.
Lo consiglio.
