Especially the appetizers, the raw seafood, the flavorful and plentiful first courses, the fish, and the very unique and delicious desserts.
Good wine selection as well.
The only flaw is the service, which really didn't live up to expectations, both in terms of the staff's training and the table management.
A shame... also because the not-so-cheap prices can't be justified solely by the quality of the dishes, but also by the good level of service.
16/08/2026: Excellent food: impeccable seafood appetizers, especially the artichoke tart, and simple, traditional first courses that showcase the fresh fish. The outdoor setting is beautiful, in a period stone and whitewashed piazza, a traditional Apulian setting, well-maintained and beautifully presented.

14/08/2026: We were there two nights in a row. Everything was delicious, both the pizzas and the food. The service was super attentive and coordinated with the kitchen. The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially Sofia.
12/08/2026: A very welcoming restaurant in a beautiful little square surrounded by stunning churches. The staff is attentive and very kind. Excellent food, both the pizza and the fish. Definitely worth a try!

03/01/2026: We stayed on December 29th while hiking in Salento. The property was well-heated, the room and bed were comfortable, and very clean. Upon arrival, we were provided with a small welcome buffet with sweets and tea (much appreciated), and the morning breakfast was adequate and varied. Recommended 👍
02/11/2025: I'm going to stay at this property today. I'm already giving it 5 stars because of the kindness of the lady who hosted me. She made herself available right away when I introduced myself. I'll let you know how it went in the next few days.

A typical Salento trattoria, a quaint location, well-kept and very welcoming.
Food: traditional dishes, authentic flavors, everything truly excellent! (The horse meat pieces in tomato sauce and orecchiette della puteca were a real treat).
Value for money: 10/10!
The staff are friendly, attentive, and approachable. The owner, Quintino, and his wife are truly fantastic!
Highly recommended!!
25/08/2026: Very nice inn. We dined on the terrace, where fortunately there was a light breeze stirring the air.
Excellent food! I'm from Campania, but with every course, I felt like I was back at my grandmother's Sunday lunches, even though I'm in Puglia. It was touching. The staff does their job. The price was reasonable, which, considering the quality, is perfectly reasonable.

13/08/2026: We had dinner at this cozy restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a wonderful menu with appetizers, primi (pasta with mussels), and secondi (swordfish, prawns). It was excellent. The atmosphere is special.
26/06/2026: It's a trattoria restaurant located in a small street with not much parking. Fixed menu of fish or meat for around €30.00.

10/08/2026: An excellent experience, a shop full of artisanal, delicious, and genuine products.
But the icing on the cake is Angela, who, with her professionalism and empathy, upholds the brand's high standards. I've personally seen few people like her, and I hope she can always keep the flame of passion for her work alive and that she's appreciated by the people she works for. We wish her the best.
Surely, many other people who love what they do and do it with dedication work alongside her, which is why the bakery is chosen by so many locals and tourists like us, who return for the second year to stock up on gifts for relatives.
See you next year! 😘

13/08/2026: In the setting of a charming and unique village, Vite Colta welcomes us with an authentic Salento menu and excellent wines of their own production. Authentic, traditional flavors. Excellent portions and a fair price-quality ratio.
One "flaw" is the long wait between courses: even though it was the Ferragosto holiday, the wait was over an hour between appetizers and main courses. Absolutely recommended!
13/08/2026: We ate terribly. The food was saltless, heavy, and too wintery. Everything had no flavor. The bread was hard, the appetizers were small and bland. We couldn't order the main courses because the owner told us after we'd eaten the first courses that they were sold out. I should point out that we sat down at 9:20 PM, and by 10:00 PM, the main courses were already gone, but the pasta was still overcooked. The service was too informal and unprofessional. Overall, a terrible experience.

20/08/2026: Pizza with chips baked directly from frozen (not fried and added after cooking) is a culinary disgrace. That alone is more than enough to make me never set foot there again.
12/08/2026: The pizza is incredibly good and easy to digest, there's no cover charge and the courtesy is the best thing about the place. 😍😁😃

06/04/2026: Easter Monday, knowing the owner, a very good person, I don't doubt it, I understand that the coastal road doesn't offer much, even during the period, prosecco €5 at the counter without even a minimum of appetizers seems exaggerated to me, with the addition that it was also put in a plastic cup.
02/12/2025: We decided to celebrate a birthday here. We arrived at 9 PM, and after a 30-minute wait, the seafood and meat appetizers arrived. Very good food, and the staff were friendly. As soon as we started with the appetizers, we ordered pizzas to save time, since we had an elderly woman and her relatives with us (seven in total), who obviously couldn't be late. And that's where the problem lies. The pizzas arrived (some of them wrong) after a TWO-HOUR wait, at 12:00/12:15 AM to be precise, after the seven people had already left. We raised the issue, but all we got were shrugs. When it came time to get the (salty) bill, we reiterated that they could have easily informed us about the long waiting times, at least we would have avoided ordering those extra pizzas... in response, only excuses and unfounded justifications in an arrogant and presumptuous tone from the person I believe to be the owner... I appreciate the appropriateness in choosing the restaurant's name...

23/08/2026: We visited the restaurant before leaving for our return trip from vacation. It was a wonderful experience. The location is very well maintained, with a rustic style featuring exposed stone and wood. It's truly beautiful! We ordered pizzas, and while we waited, they brought us their pittule, the best I've ever had. The large pizza was well-topped, thin, and crispy. Highly recommended! The price was average, or even lower, compared to other places where pizzas cost as much as €20, my seafood pizza €15, and that's the most expensive one I remember. Mrs. Rosanna also offered me a liqueur, but since I had to drive, I didn't accept. It was much appreciated!
