20/12/2024: Sono stata al Chirico con amici e ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio. Siamo stati accolti prontamente dal personale di sala. Piatti cucinati alla perfezione, curati nei minimi dettagli. Nonostante nel locale ci fossero due tavolate, sono stati veloci nel servizio. Prezzi onestissimi. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente❤️

24/01/2025: We arrived at 7:50 there were few tables occupied, we were 2 people. I signal to one of the girls to let her know that we were going to sit down. Our order is taken by a man who from now on I will call Mr. Bad.
After waiting for 20 minutes, more people begin to arrive and the bad man tells us in a bad way “and who is going to seat you?” Did you have a reservation? “They just came and sat down?” Very bad form. If you had said it in a slightly more respectful way, everything would be fine, but I don't like it when guys come to make a big deal out of me.
I know that tourists are a -10 next to the family that lives next door and goes to dinner every day, but honestly, your attitude really broke my ovaries.

Il Primo: Risotto con caviale di melanzane, scampi e stracciatella alquanto insulso.
Se avessi preparato riso e formaggino....sarebbe stato piu' saporito..
Ovviamente il piatto e' rimasto li! Senza mangiarlo!
Il secondo:Filetto di maialino in sfoglia con pancetta affumicata, spinaci e polvere di noci, con il filetto durissimo e non scaldato al punto giusto. Il filetto di maiale dovrebbe sbriciolarsi con un grissino. Invece? Neanche con coltello e forchetta.
Conclusione? 3 mini calici di Amarone......3x10= 30 eur???
Ma ci rendiamo conto ? Il primo piatto non mangiato? PAGATO!
Comunque mai piu'. Veramente deluso!
15/12/2024: I'm not happy about writing bad reviews, however in this case I reluctantly have to say that if the starter and first course were excellent, the meat-based main course was inedible. I don't drink but my friends had to exchange the first bottle of red wine for a second one. In the end the bill was rather "salty".

17/03/2025: We stayed in Cisternino a few months apart. We had already been there last summer and it was a reconfirmation. We ordered classic bombette, stuffed bombette and livers for us adults and a slice of roast (more tender) for our son.
Well what can I say... EVERYTHING EXCELLENT! Even the meat for the baby, despite becoming cold at the end, remained tender and juicy. Highly recommended!

19/02/2025: We arrive at 1.00 pm, we don't know where to go, or what to eat, and here we are in front of this little place, run in a family-run and very welcoming way, where you can taste the typical products of Apulian cuisine without too many costs and unnecessary frills. Fully approved, we will definitely be back!!!

20/09/2024: These are the places you should go to when traveling around Italy. A tiny, local bar, completely unpretentious, not focused on ripping off tourists' money. The prices are phenomenal, what's more - with the drink and prosecco, we received twice the price of snacks. Cool atmosphere. It's worth stopping while exploring the town.

The location is rustic typical of the place

Friendly family of restaurateurs with good service. Real traditional dishes. We love coming there, we come there as often as we can. Especially on Fridays, when there is fish on the menu.

06/03/2025: Good little restaurant located in an excellent crossing point for those coming from Ceglie or Fasano or Ostuni. Varied menu of traditional dishes for lunch. The pizza is excellent, especially the one with olives and capers! Good choice of beers. Relatively short waiting times even at peak times. Courtesy, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
22/01/2025: Sono venuto più di una volta in questo esercizio commerciale. Purtroppo le ultime due visite non sono andate bene. La penultima mi hanno aggiunto un secondo sul conto e ho fatto finta di nulla perché un errore si accetta sempre. Però oggi mi sono sentito preso in giro. In particolare per una pizza con pomodorini rucola e 4 porcini, presi dal congelatore e buttato sulla pizza senza neanche saltarli. Costo? 12.50 € . Ah dimenticavo parlo di un locale in periferia a Cisternino e non di piazza duomo a Milano. Delusione totale. Allego foto pizza.

03/01/2025: Excellent structure, a small niche located in the historic center of Cisternino, only for true connoisseurs and true expert researchers.
Small shop, as if it were a small butcher's shop, offering a take-away or self-service service for meat and some small side dishes.
The place has a small entrance with the meat counter to choose from, and then a separate room with three tables where you can taste the dishes you ordered.
I must say that in my opinion there should be a slightly wider choice regarding the type of bowlers, but let's say that they also have rolls and sausage.
The choice is possible to have the meat on the plate or with the sandwich and the baked potatoes in foil are delicious.
Very kind staff, really very affectionate and caring lady, always smiling.
Remember to clean the tables once you leave!
Definitely coming back.
