30/11/2025: Bad experience! Saturday evening we went to this "fornello" (a place where you can eat), partly drawn by the reviews. We ordered a few varieties of bombette, and honestly, none of us could distinguish the different "flavors." They all seemed the same! The knuckle was good, but we ordered a sliced ​​Angus steak that was inedible. We ordered it rare, but we couldn't even cut it because it was so stringy and "rubbery." We asked for it to be cooked more to see if we could cut it, but nothing. Even the waiter noticed after we told him. Okay, let's just say we could have overlooked it, even though I don't expect such a product from a butcher shop! But the thing that bothered us the most was the reaction (or rather, non-reaction) of the lady when we paid the bill. While we were paying, we told her the meat was inedible... she gave us a dirty look, took the money we'd already placed on the counter, and turned her head without even responding to our complaint. From someone in this profession, I expect at least an "I'm so sorry," or "I'm sorry, can I get you something?" Oh well, I feel sorry for them!

09/12/2025: Lost in the wonderful village of Cisternino, my partner and I found ourselves at this restaurant with a capital R. The welcome was the best, the kindness truly lent a touch of class (especially for a young person like me). I felt truly welcomed as we dined. We didn't overdo it; the appetizers were very good, with many original Apulian ideas, with naturally more "homemade" touches, such as sliced ​​capocollo, etc. And, of course, the EVO olive oil (unfamiliar to me, coming from Salento), which really highlighted the dishes wherever it was added—in short, an excellent oil. Then, finally, the two first courses, whose names I don't remember, the ravioli filled with porcini mushrooms and their potent sauce (forgive me). The ravioli initially prepare the palate for the flavor, and the porcini mushrooms sharpen it decisively, until it becomes a beautiful dish. And then their famous gnocchetti, where there was a lot of love but a bit of perplexity. I didn't like the excessive amount of parsley, which, to be fair, would have given the dish a superlative touch... I won't tell you anything else; the real experience is when it arrives at the table before you even pick up a fork. Finally, I highly recommend this excellent restaurant. As a boy, I felt like a grown-up, but the place is a bit small.
