05/08/2025: Exceptional bakery in Cisternino, with oil, akua, semolina, in short all types of bread that in the trullo last between 5 and 7 days (in Milan bread now costs a fortune and it disappears WHILE YOU GO TO HOUSE!!!). KAIMANO!!

22/09/2025: When we eat lunch 🍽️ out, I usually prefer to have coffee ☕ at a bar, convinced that the quality is superior. Today, I decided to enjoy a coffee ☕ comfortably seated 🪑in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the main square of the old town of Cisternino, at Bar Fod, a true local institution. ​The location is stunning, a prime spot for admiring the Clock Tower 🕛 and the typical whitewashed Apulian houses 🏠. We managed to find a table right away, despite the large influx of tourists, especially foreigners. ​The service was fast, competent, and courteous. A charming and professional lady also served us, which made the experience even more pleasant. ​I ordered a coffee, but, unfortunately, the taste didn't meet my expectations. I found it a bit too strong and with a "burnt" flavor, likely due to a blend with a high percentage of Robusta beans and a very dark roast that releases more oils, making the coffee more intense and full-bodied. It must be said, however, that coffee taste is a very personal matter. Although it wasn't to my liking, the café is definitely worth a visit for its location and impeccable service.

19/07/2025: Rosticceria nel centro storico di Cisternino, seppur il locale risulta datato si puo assaporare dell' ottima carne alla brace con prezzi abbastanza onesti. Anche il servizio è buono ed il personale ed i titolari sono molto gentili e cordiali.

15/06/2025: Locale con rosticceria espressa sia con ristorante che per asporto. Bancone a vista dal quale si scelgono le portate di carne che vengono poi arrostite al momento e servite espresse. Piatto forte bombette con varie farcie, gustose e classiche. Prezzi medi e gusto assicurato. Servizio rapido e cortese.

11/09/2025: I purchased packaged cookies for my daughter's baptism, agreeing from the start on a specific price that included the packaging (30 jars, weighed for a predetermined amount). However, when we picked them up, we were surprised: each jar cost almost €2 more, for a total significantly higher than agreed upon. It wasn't the first time this had happened: a month earlier, for another order of sweets, we had been given an additional tray we hadn't requested, and naturally, we were charged for it. The owner's behavior was disappointing: she gave confusing and unreliable explanations, including that the packaging wasn't included, when in fact the "all-inclusive" price had been clearly agreed upon when we placed the order. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but I feel it's fair to point out the lack of transparency in the handling of the agreements. I won't repeat this experience.
