31/12/2025: The carbonara was just okay, but the appetizers really stood out—especially the octopus herb frittata and the vegetable herb frittata. The staff were amazing: incredibly kind and friendly throughout the meal. We ordered the steak as well, which was pretty good. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and chocolate soufflé, and both were great, with the tiramisu being the clear standout.

Nino gave us excellent advice and recommended fresh catches, which is not to be underestimated during the Christmas season, as the boats leave less frequently. At the end of the dinner, we enjoyed his personal digestifs: a delightful tour of flavors. Highly recommended! An experience to treat yourself to and...to repeat!!!

08/02/2026: Total disappointment over a focaccia I never picked up. I had ordered a focaccia without tomato sauce at 12:00 PM and was told to pick it up at 2:00 PM. At 2:10 PM, even though we were already at lunch, I got up from the table to pick it up. At the counter, however, the woman couldn't find my name among the reservations and told me they no longer had any without tomato sauce, offering me a focaccia with tomato sauce. Shortly afterward, a colleague intervened, checking a messy sheet of paper covered in crosses, found my last name (crossed out) and speculated that "perhaps it has already been picked up." Perhaps by someone with the same name as me? The problem, however, remains theirs, not mine. The reservation system is clearly disorganized, and as reputable as the restaurant is, leaving a customer without anything after a specific appointment is unacceptable. I went home disappointed, angry, and without a focaccia, even after having interrupted my lunch. It's a shame, because from such a well-known business one would expect a much higher level of seriousness and attention.

02/02/2026: We tried two starters and were impressed by the staff's helpfulness and kindness. One of the dishes we'd chosen wasn't available, but when we asked for a starter with clams (not on the menu), they were immediately satisfied. The starters were truly superb. We also tried the tuna steak and the mussels au gratin: both were very good, but a special mention goes to the tuna steak, which was of the highest quality and freshest, without a doubt the best we've ever had. We were truly satisfied: the price was fair for what we ate. We'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: It reawakened my palate, which had been dulled by the cuisine of other restaurants. An experience definitely worth repeating.

11/01/2026: Attracted by the tastefully decorated restaurant, we dined with friends. There are some negative points: too many tables are close together, which also creates inconvenience for the service itself. For example, we had to hand out the extra cutlery. Another example that's definitely not typical of a high-end establishment, as they believe it to be. Customers don't wait their turn outside, but rather huddled between the tables in the entrance area, completely out of touch with common sense and hygiene. They easily suggest that they're only concerned with QUANTITY AND NOT QUALITY. The final price, in my opinion, is excessive: a truly miniature dessert costs €6, and there's also a €0.50 charge. On the bill, we noticed two additional covers, worth €4, and after pointing this out to the owner, he, without apology, dismissed us, saying, "and we'll take them off," so be CAREFUL to read the receipt before paying (the cover charge wasn't at the beginning of the receipt, but in the middle, and therefore not easily distinguishable from the other items). The final highlight: they literally rushed us out because they needed the table, preventing us from calmly recomposing ourselves to leave, with small children, as one should normally do after an evening spent in good company. I recommend greater attention to the cleanliness of the restrooms (in accordance with the law), especially given the amount of people who frequent them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

23/12/2025: I was there last night as a guest of a dear childhood friend who lives in Mola. New neighborhood, so easy and quiet parking. The elegant, cinema-themed setting (how could I not love it?) was warmly welcomed from the start. We ordered a mixed platter (cured meats and cheeses) and pizzas. My choice, a Beverly Hills, was flawless. Delicious and very digestible. (Perhaps a bit of a wait.) We finished with two desserts and some grappa, strictly white because barricade is for those who don't know much about it, and they served us an excellent 903 dura. Everything was truly delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. If I were to be super picky, the three-chocolate mousse was a tad too sweet. It lacked the dark chocolate flavor. I can't comment on the price because, as I said, I was a guest that evening. I would gladly travel the 50 km again for dinner, either alone with my wife or with friends. I could only make a good impression. Highly recommended.

Good restaurant, large parking lot, and lots of young, well-organized staff... fair prices for everything it offers.

01/02/2026: Nice place, nice style, very friendly staff... ... but I'd like to point out, ESPECIALLY when booking a table, that you should give advance notice that the kitchen closes at 10:30 PM. If you're just having a drink, it's a whole different kind of evening... And anyway, in a seaside town with a decent nightlife, closing the kitchen at that hour on a Saturday feels like a dive bar in Olgiate Olona on a gray, provincial Tuesday...
