16/12/2025: Beautiful restaurant, we found this place by chance. It offers home-style yet refined cuisine, with excellent local products. We opted for the Tourist Menu, and there's nothing to complain about. Everything was delicious, from the first course to the second course. The dishes were generous, the wine included in the menu was excellent, the waitress was very friendly, and the place was small but very cute.

20/01/2026: Unfortunately, this time I have to give a less than positive review of this restaurant. My husband and I ate there perhaps a couple of years ago and were completely satisfied, so much so that we couldn't wait to return. This time, however, things didn't go as expected. Unfortunately, one of our guests wasn't well that day, so we had to go up and down from the dining room, which was upstairs (heated), to the bathroom, which was downstairs (freezing and unheated), next to the exit, reached by a long staircase leading to the restaurant's exit. This isn't a bad thing; the place is fine, but at least heating the area would have been more pleasant. Aside from that, the €45 menu they offered was of fairly poor quality. The dishes included extremely salty chicory, grass peas, and pancotto, along with undercooked mushrooms. Several dishes were loaded with large pieces of garlic, so much so that I managed to remove a couple of pieces from my mouth, recognizing the flavor. And, even more seriously, something the staff and owners initially tried to gloss over, which makes the matter even worse, was that one of our guests found a piece of glass the size of a lentil stuck in his teeth while eating the chicory and grass peas. When we alerted them, the staff members quickly removed the food from the table, apologizing but failing to notify the appropriate authorities. When we reported it, one of the managers/owners tried to turn the tables, saying it could have been a pebble or even a lentil. The other manager came to apologize, but still sounded as if we were the ones making the mistake, saying that a glass had broken, but not near the kitchen and some time before. We also immediately informed them that three out of six people were lactose intolerant, including one of the three lactose-free children's menus. And amidst further confusion, our appetizer arrived, along with pasta with sauce from the children's menu, which was then followed by the children's appetizer consisting of "cooked ham and lactose-free mozzarella," according to the staff's description. But upon looking at the mozzarella from the regular appetizer and the one from the lactose-free children's menu, they found the same ones, so we called their attention to it, and only then did they bring us the three lactose-free robiola cheeses. In short, without further ado, we had to explain and request the staff's attention several times over numerous small (and not so small) details. Personally, I lost my appetite and trust in them after the glass incident. They did, of course, try to remedy their behavior somehow, but always with an air of superficiality and annoyance. Perhaps only the staff members were truly kind because they realized it wasn't a good day, given the diner's health, who had been unwell the entire time. Despite everything, we apologized several times for this, having somehow delayed their work, while from them we only received annoyed looks and attempts to downplay the situation. And honestly, given that the glass incident is quite serious, I think they should have been a little more considerate. But that's okay. I'm sorry, but we're not there yet. Good luck!

18/01/2026: Besides the charming location, the dishes are truly top-notch, especially the appetizers. The meat is also very good, and the staff is super friendly. My partner and I went there last night. I absolutely recommend it!

03/03/2026: The restaurant's location is stunning, perched on the ravine, affording stunning views of the city. Built on the ruins of a cave structure, it has a very large upper room often used for receptions, and a lower room in a veritable cave, making the setting almost magical. We enjoyed two tasting menus, featuring traditional peasant dishes reinterpreted with a modern twist and of the highest quality. The service was impeccable, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Recommended for a meeting or special event, it's definitely worth it.

20/02/2026: It's a typical restaurant in Gravina, popular with locals, so the food is excellent! We went on a Saturday at lunchtime and were given a table where we were a bit cramped. It's very noisy, but the place is huge and crowded! The service wasn't very friendly. Dogs are allowed.

I paired it with a flawless tetta di monache: soft and fluffy pastry with a perfectly sweet custard. I couldn't resist a sfogliatella, crispy and with an exquisite filling. Everything was delicious. I also want to highlight the staff's service, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended! ☕🍰

26/02/2026: Perfectly cooked pizza, generously topped. One of the pizzas I highly recommend is the courgette heart, whose sweetness, the pumpkin cream and stracciatella, contrasted with the saltiness of the speck and parmesan, makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
