I've been frequenting this restaurant for a long time, and just five days ago I even left a positive review, calling it a good, beautiful, and affordable place. Today, however, I was told I couldn't order the daily menu because it was reserved exclusively for workers. The thing that left me most perplexed was that I saw other people who didn't appear to be workers eating the same menu. When I explained that it wasn't my first time here and that I'd been a customer before, along with my husband, the response I received was, "I've never seen you." I felt treated rudely and without any consideration. It's not so much the fact that I couldn't order the menu, but the way it was communicated to me. For this reason, I'm amending my previous positive review.

01/06/2026: This experience left me very disappointed and completely changed the positive opinion I had of this restaurant. My husband and I came for lunch with our two children, ages 4 and 2. We'd been here several times before, and I'd even left a 5-star review with photos because I was so satisfied with the experience. When ordering, I clearly explained that two adults would be eating and that I would be taking care of the children. I only asked for an extra fork and knife to help them eat. We ordered two Complete Menus. The children didn't order anything and simply ate from our food. We didn't ask for extra bread, extra water, or any other dishes. When it came to the bill, however, I was told that the two children would also have to be counted and pay for two Reduced Menus. The amount initially requested was about 52 euros. I was very surprised because no one had informed me of this rule when ordering. The problem for me wasn't money. I would have had no problem paying any cover charge or any fees related to the children's seating. What I couldn't understand was why two children who hadn't ordered anything should be considered two additional menu items. If this rule had been explained to me beforehand, I would have been free to decide whether to order something extra for them. Throughout the conversation, I tried to understand and calmly ask for clarification. Unfortunately, I felt like my questions were being interpreted as an attempt to take advantage of the restaurant, which was completely unrealistic. I never hid the children's presence and had clearly explained the situation from the beginning. The most unpleasant part was the way the situation was handled. My Italian isn't perfect, and while I was trying to explain and translate what I wanted to say, I saw the staff commenting on the situation to other people passing by. I don't know exactly what was said, but I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. In that moment, I felt like I was being judged without anyone truly trying to listen to my point of view. In the end, the bill was corrected, and I only paid for the two Complete Menus plus the service charge, for a total of €32.50. However, I was also told not to return. The saddest thing is that all of this could have been avoided with clear communication from the beginning. I respect the rules of every restaurant, but I believe every customer deserves clear explanations and respect, especially when they're simply trying to understand a situation. No one should feel humiliated or treated as if they're trying to take advantage of others just for asking a question.

10/06/2026: Conveniently located in the city, right on the Sile, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pizza was really very good, but something to be aware of: at lunchtime, they only offer the "50cm" pizza (normally 30cm) with a choice of two different pizza toppings for €31. However, the 50cm refers to the length, not the diameter; it's perhaps 25cm wide, meaning it's not even two pizzas. It was fine for three of us as a snack. We chose a Margherita topping for the regular price of €7 and a special topping for €18, which, considering the minimal effort involved, was overpriced.

04/04/2026: SUPER experience. We trusted a Venetian friend who recommended this place to us... and we were thrilled! We had the mussels, a delight... the agnolotti stuffed with sea bass, whose shrimp and vegetable sauce alone was a world of flavors... the mixed fried fish, light and tasty... and the chocolate and pistachio tartlet, fabulous! Fantastic service: kind, friendly, and professional! If we come to Venice again, we know where we'll eat again. Thank you ❤️

04/04/2026: A truly disappointing experience, especially considering the value for money. 27 euros for two takeout pizzas. We ordered two pizzas: a sausage pizza with fries and salami, and a "patatosa" pizza. The total? 27 euros. Insane. The most incredible thing is the extras: 4 euros for fries and 2 euros for a bit of salami. Are you kidding? You're basically paying 1 euro per fries, for a truly paltry amount. It's inexcusable in any way. The "patatosa" pizza, at 11 euros, considering the simple ingredients, is completely out of line. You'd expect at least more abundance or higher quality, but that wasn't the case. I understand the price increases and costs, but this is really overkill. High prices with no real value behind it. I wouldn't go back, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurant's strengths: Pizza quality: Truly delicious, made with quality ingredients and well-seasoned, with a light and flavorful dough. Fried foods: The fries were exceptional, incredibly crispy and cooked to perfection. Service and Staff: The waiters were very kind, welcoming, and attentive. The service was incredibly fast, a detail that really makes a difference, especially on busy nights. Value for money: The price is excellent, absolutely fair, and in line with the high quality of the food we ate.
