28/09/2025: I went to try the pizza at this place after reading the reviews... I have to say that the pizza, the service, and the entire staff exceeded all expectations and the best reviews I've read!!! I can only give it 5 stars, but the quality of the pizzas 🍕 in my opinion deserves a 10 out of 10. Delicious is an understatement!!! Large, super-topped, crispy on the bottom from the semolina flour, and the dough is soft and thin, with a nice airy texture (so it rises perfectly). All this is thanks to the pizza chef!!! Well done, well done! Plus, I had the chance to chat with him, his wife, and his son, all three of them very kind, helpful, and polite—characteristics that are hard to find in places with a family atmosphere like theirs! What more can I say? I'll definitely be back. It's a shame I live so far away, otherwise it would be the pizzeria I'd choose at least once a week. Last but not least, the two of us ordered two pizzas and two beers, and the bill came to €36! Thank you 🙏🏻

07/10/2025: Because you can only give 5 stars, otherwise Bijoux Des Alpes would deserve many more! We stayed at this wonderful property from October 2nd to 4th, and from the moment we arrived, we sensed their attention to their guests' needs: a truly stunning chalet, with quality finishes and accessories, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. For example, since we brought our dog with us and had obviously communicated this during the booking process, we also found two bowls (for water and food) that were also immaculately clean and with a rubber mat to put them on: I assure you, this is an attention you don't often find in pet-friendly resorts and/or hotels. And then the location: the property is surrounded by greenery, immaculately maintained, and equipped with amenities we'd loved to try and that we promise to do as soon as possible when we return. Oh, and let's not forget the natural wonders surrounding Bijoux Des Alpes!

29/09/2025: Whenever we're in Aosta, Hostaria del Calvino is a regular stop. Excellent food, from the mixed platter to polenta concia, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, etc. The pizzas are also truly excellent. Yesterday, Sunday, September 28th, I brought a group of friends who were delighted. See you in December for the Christmas markets.

24/08/2025: We went for dinner, and they welcomed us even without a reservation. I don't understand some of the negative reviews, but we had a wonderful time. Friendly service (best wishes to the soon-to-be mommy). The Tomino Moa was amazing. Polenta concia with venison, which my husband polished off. The risotto was excellent. The kids' menu was comprehensive and tasty. The panna cotta and caramel were definitely homemade. We really enjoyed it! Congratulations and best wishes <3

05/10/2025: The Quattro Formaggi pizza I had is really nice, and the Lamb Ribs are wonderful, and green salad performs regularly. The regular size pizza is already large which is around 10 inch. I ordered too much, and I took the tiramisu back to my hotel. Really recommend!

03/10/2025: The portions are generous, but the overall experience was disappointing. The place is dated and in need of renovation. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering, a sign of poor organization. The staff seemed understaffed and poorly coordinated, resulting in long waits and little customer service. Added to this, the prices were high for the quality offered. A real shame, because the location is excellent and the place has potential.

05/09/2025: Really good pizzas! 🍕 My dad and I both ordered pizza, and they tasted amazing. The only thing missing is pasta. I get it – it’s a pizzeria, and they do an amazing job there – but it would have been nice to have a few more options. There was a lasagna on the menu, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day. The staff is super friendly, and the prices are reasonable – pretty much the same as other places in the area. So if you’re looking for a good pizza, go there! 😋

15/08/2025: A gelateria (because that's the service I often frequent) that has few equals in the hinterland. Variety of flavors, creativity, and quality ingredients. Gelato always creamy and served at just the right temperature. The staff is dynamic and courteous.

01/10/2025: The restaurant is busy, as there are many tourists in town, so the prices are a bit more expensive than in other towns in Aosta. The pizzas taste good and are really large. Unfortunately, one of our dishes was forgotten and arrived 10 minutes later than everyone else was almost finished.

29/09/2025: A woman with black hair suddenly emerged from my blind spot and reached for the spray bottle and cloth above my head, bringing them down onto my head. She offered no apology and repeated the action a second time. Unpleasant service. This is the first time I've had such an awkward Italian meal.
