22/09/2025: An authentic and genuine culinary experience, far from the chaos of the city and immersed in the tranquility of the Umbrian countryside, Ristorante Pizzeria San Bartolomeo, located on the Strada Statale della Contessa, is a stop well worth considering. San Bartolomeo's strong point is undoubtedly its cuisine, firmly rooted in local traditions with a wide array of dishes, from classic Umbrian first courses featuring homemade pasta to grilled meat main courses (they also serve pizza, but I haven't tried it). The restaurant's atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and familiar. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere is typical of old-fashioned trattorias. The quality-price ratio is excellent, with prices fair and appropriate for the quality and size of the portions. The service is quick and attentive.

We trusted our instincts and stopped for dinner... and I must say that we did more than well.... We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and I must say that he even brought us extra dishes to sample their delicacies, including the super-excellent pizza... the staff was very polite and kind... even the owner is a delightful and very helpful person, among other things, I personally thank him from the bottom of my heart for the kind gift. 02/11/2025: Dinner with friends while we strolled through the streets of Gubbio. Friendly staff, very good food, and, most importantly, they catered for gluten-free options. We'll be back.

24/09/2025: We had booked a room to sleep in the heart of Gubbio, intrigued by the name "Bed & Beer" and the photos of the beer tap in the room, not knowing that the owner's restaurant was right below! Needless to say, after touring the town and refreshing ourselves in the apartment we had, we went downstairs to spend a fantastic evening drinking excellent beer and eating pizza. Definitely worth a visit.

06/09/2025: This place is right in the historic center of Gubbio! Perfect for aperitifs, we ordered a beer from a wide selection of excellent craft beers and a prosecco. They asked us if we wanted something to eat, but despite saying yes, we never got it! It's a shame because the staff is friendly. I'd go back and give it another try.

22/11/2025: Recommended! A restaurant just steps from the historic center, nestled in a small alley. Historic decor, pizza, and restaurant open for both lunch and dinner. Excellent food, exceptional daily menu, generous portions, excellent value. Friendly and super helpful staff. Short wait times for food. RECOMMENDED!

09/11/2025: We visit Gubbio very often, and this place is a guarantee for us. Claudio and his staff welcome us within the ancient walls of this restaurant to enjoy, from appetizers to dessert, dishes that have the flavor of Umbria. And then in the evening, an excellent pizza with a nice mug of Forst beer. Thanks guys ❤️
