22/09/2025: An authentic and genuine culinary experience, far from the chaos of the city and immersed in the tranquility of the Umbrian countryside, Ristorante Pizzeria San Bartolomeo, located on the Strada Statale della Contessa, is a stop well worth considering. San Bartolomeo's strong point is undoubtedly its cuisine, firmly rooted in local traditions with a wide array of dishes, from classic Umbrian first courses featuring homemade pasta to grilled meat main courses (they also serve pizza, but I haven't tried it). The restaurant's atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and familiar. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere is typical of old-fashioned trattorias. The quality-price ratio is excellent, with prices fair and appropriate for the quality and size of the portions. The service is quick and attentive.

17/10/2025: We work in the Gubbio area and were recommended this place. The menu is perfect (you won't leave hungry), the place is quaint, and the service is fast and friendly.

15/10/2025: The place is very nice, under the vaults. The staff is okay, nothing more. The food is good and for totally reasonable prices, which is not the case with other places in Gubbio... So I think it's a good address :)

26/09/2025: A family-friendly and informal atmosphere. The food is excellent; when we're in Gubbio, we always eat at La Balestra. We've known it our whole lives, and it always maintains high standards. Highly recommended, even for vegetarians.

28/09/2025: I'm just saying that my husband would love to come back here many more times. We've been here for dinner and lunch and had a truly wonderful meal. The dishes are homemade, plentiful, and excellent, with a vast selection of first courses (we tried four over the two days, and we can honestly say they were all better than the last). The staff is young and incredibly friendly. The wait times are short, even on a Saturday night. Delicious desserts. The value for money is unbelievable. Congratulations, truly. 24/09/2025: We had booked a room to sleep in the heart of Gubbio, intrigued by the name "Bed & Beer" and the photos of the beer tap in the room, not knowing that the owner's restaurant was right below! Needless to say, after touring the town and refreshing ourselves in the apartment we had, we went downstairs to spend a fantastic evening drinking excellent beer and eating pizza. Definitely worth a visit.

06/09/2025: This place is right in the historic center of Gubbio! Perfect for aperitifs, we ordered a beer from a wide selection of excellent craft beers and a prosecco. They asked us if we wanted something to eat, but despite saying yes, we never got it! It's a shame because the staff is friendly. I'd go back and give it another try.

08/10/2025: Personally, I don't understand the negative reviews: I had a truffle pizza: Excellent. I can't remember a better one. My neighbors were also very happy with their pizzas. We got a seat right away in October. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The prices were very reasonable. Besides, the restaurant's lovely ambiance. I don't know if it's different in high season, but I can't imagine it being different in every respect.
