05/05/2025: Excellent experience! Great food, service, and beautiful place. We tried pizza, pasta, mussels and others and will definitely come back. Do not hesitate to try.

04/05/2025: Entirely outraged. One of the most expensive restaurants in Italy, albeit obviously location dependent. It's in a beautiful scenic spot and is absolutely well decorated/present. However, the food is entirely sub-par. I embarrassingly had to send back my first main because the taste of it made is practically inedible and was coated in ladles of pure fat. The service was lovely in the sense that they removed the plate and let me order another dish. I got a steak, thinking, a delicious easy dish that's hard to ruin. They gave me an unseasoned steak which, to be fair was well cooked, perfectly rare as requested. Nevertheless, they gave me the same 4 roast potatoes I had left from the previous plate and small dismal salad with a sprinkle of grated parmesan. Now, the reason for the one star rating - they tried charging me for the dish I didn't eat. On top of that they included a per person service charge (5 euros per person on table). This ensued an argument and they embarrassed theirselves and me They even started boasting about the poor quality of their ingredients, weirdly. In the end I didn't pay for the bad dish however, it was still a very expensive restaurant and I definitely would not recommend their food or their etiquette. AVOID. Albeit, the wine was nice.

03/11/2024: I've been getting pizza from Rugantino for months, always takeaway. Always excellent, good ingredients, light dough balanced between filling and pasta, cooked well. Particularly kind and friendly. Personally I don't find the layout of the room pleasant, but they have a pleasant covered outdoor space.

11/03/2025: Pizza e Pasta da Salva is my point of reference when I want a good pizza delivered to my home. Whenever I order from home, this pizzeria is my safe choice. Their pizzas maintain exceptional quality even with takeout, a rare aspect in many pizzerias where the pizza tends to become soft and tasteless. At Salva, the pizza arrives at home as if it had just come out of the oven, fragrant and tasty. In addition to the quality, the prices are honest.

29/03/2025: Sono cliente da asporto per le pizze da tanto tempo...e conosco il locale da quando ho memoria , perché sono del posto.... Ma l'ultima volta sono rinata colpita dal prezzo ....2 pizze e una focaccia grande ripiena dai gusti classici ... bufala, quattro formaggi e focaccia con salame piccante e mozzarella .. 30,00€ . There is a wait, yes, but for us the pizza is worth it, if it improved that too it would be a full 5. However it remains my favorite pizza in Pisa

05/05/2025: Certainly lots of outdoor space, with a play area for children. A large quantity of food that they pour onto the tables without stopping, but of rather low quality. But above all, terrible, inattentive service and short-sighted management. I got up and when I returned I discovered that the waitress, in order to clear the table, had completely knocked over my chair, causing it to fall. The problem is that on the chair, in addition to my bag and jacket, there was the present I had gotten for my friend's birthday. A bottle of gin (45 euros) that spilled on the floor, wetting not only the floor, but also my jacket and bag. All this, it seems, without the staff even realizing what had happened. It was my partner, who raised his chair, while the waitress left as if nothing had happened. My partner also had to call the staff to dry the lake that had been created. Not only that: when I went to report the matter, all the waitresses denied it, as if they hadn't noticed anything. Not to mention the owner, who, as if he had been the one to find the damage, became annoyed. Now, everyone makes mistakes. And it's not so much about financially repaying the damage you cause, even unintentionally, to others, something that was proposed to me, albeit in an angry and reluctant tone and which was not done when the bill was paid. It is rather the way in which a person is treated and made to feel, who at that moment is a customer of the establishment, to whom an inconvenience has been caused. It's not so much the error, which can happen. The difference is made in the way in which the owner, first and foremost, and then also the staff, responds to and manages their relationship with the customer. Unfortunately, for these few euros, many potential new customers were certainly lost. I certainly do not recommend it, I will not return and I will never bring other people here again.

27/04/2025: Very central place in one of the streets between Palazzo dei Priori and the Roman Theatre. I had some excellent pici carbonara and a glass of Chianti. They also have some seats outside.

27/04/2025: We were rather disappointed with the 4 pizzas. They seemed thawed. Too bad to come to Italy for that. The service is very correct and courteous but there was a cold and heavy atmosphere.

24/04/2025: Tried with Just eat. We were at the camper stop area and the delivery to the bar was super punctual, everything was excellent and hot. Fair prices. We tried pizza, cecina and Nutella focaccine. Recommended!

05/05/2025: We had dinner in this place on 05.03.25, in our opinion the dishes (pizzas and mussels) were average, the service was adequate... the place was very dated... especially the services... (... inadequate to say the least...) very touristy. Adequate quality/price ratio.

30/04/2025: Insospettabile pizzeria a due passi dal centro cittadino. Buona accoglienza e, nonostante la data prefestiva, ci trovano il tavolo e ci fanno accomodare. Discreta scelta di antipasti, pochi primi e secondi, spettacolare scelta di pizze. Mia moglie ed io abbiamo preso due pizze diverse e tutte e due hanno soddisfatto le aspettative; impasto eccellente, buona la cottura, buoni i prodotti scelti per i condimenti. Il servizio è attento, cordiale, veloce. Lo abbiamo scoperto per puro caso ma se ci troveremo in zona sicuramente torneremo.

06/04/2025: Pranzo nell'ambito di un raduno di auto sportive Sicuramente ci sono stati diversi disguidi nell'organizzazione dell'evento, ma onestamente erano anni che non mangiavo così male per una spesa assurda di 75 euro a testa

10/03/2025: Restaurant bezocht in september. Wij waren misschien iets te vroeg, want we zaten tijdens het hele etentje helemaal alleen in het restaurant. Dit was wat ongemakkelijk. Het eten was wel echt overheerlijk en wij hebben het nog steeds over de rosbief op pizzadeeg. Dit is echt een aanrader. De pizza was ook super lekker. Het uitzicht vanaf het restaurant is ook erg mooi. De weg er naartoe in het donker vonden wij wel wat spannend

30/01/2025: An elderly gentleman who makes pizzas in a wood-fired oven and makes them in the pan that any grandmother at home uses, you can't call me pizza for 2 reasons: 1 you can't taste the flavor and crunchiness of the stone heated by the embers, it's 2 because they make the pizzas so small that in real pizzerias they're baby and in the end they cost too much for their quality, I completely screwed up.
