10/10/2025: What can I say? The chef, with whom we personally reserved a table yesterday, has learned his craft. The "fish soup" is top-notch. The tomato sauce "soup" has a truly perfect balance between the acidity of the tomatoes and the sugar, which brings them to life. Simply brilliant. Mama Sita, in a nutshell. It couldn't be better. It was just as delicious from bite to bite as you couldn't achieve it yourself. The recommended wine complemented the taste experience positively. We had the soup for one person and shared it because we wanted a second dish. We had the homemade ravioli. That was the crowning glory. The homemade sauce, too, was a gourmet's dream. A Michelin-starred restaurant could add this chef to its menu once a month. Provided the best fresh produce is used. He buys fresh produce every morning, as he told me. So make a reservation and enjoy—it's worth every cent. And to top it all off, there was a lemon sorbet. For the lady at the table, it's normal, and for me, it's vodka and a cafe doppio. Unfortunately, it's not in the picture.

07/12/2025: On Saturdays and Sundays, the wait for takeout can be long; it's best to order pizza in advance. I assume it can also be long to eat in the dining room, based on what I've seen while waiting for takeout pizzas. I plan on eating there soon, even though the dining room is small (I think they open an outdoor area in a small courtyard in the summer) and some tables are right up against the counter where takeout waits. The pizza, however, is excellent, in terms of size and consistency, more similar to Roman pizza than Neapolitan pizza. The dough is excellent, and the toppings are excellent and plentiful. The fried panzerotti are excellent; they're generously sized and the fillings are appropriate.

14/03/2026: We went to this pizzeria a few days ago. The pie is spectacular, crispy on the bottom and top and soft on the inside. It's a Livorno special, one of the best I've ever eaten. The pizza was excellent, just like the pie. Words are pointless; it's a must-try! There was a slight delay due to an issue, but the food was so good that the wait went unnoticed. Plus, the staff and the owners, a husband and wife team, were incredibly kind and friendly. Thank you!! See you soon!!

04/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant last night. We've passed it many times over the years we've been frequenting the area. We had four pizzas, two small beers, one medium, a bottled Coke, three coffees, and three desserts for €94 in total. I'd say the prices were excellent, and the pizza was also very good. We'll definitely be back!

01/05/2026: L'Approdo Restaurant and Pizzeria has always been a guarantee of quality. I recommend two of the house specialties: Spaghetti alla Corsara and Pane Arabo. Enjoy your meal!

We were immediately greeted with exemplary elegance and kindness by Mr. Giuliano—a truly special, friendly, and hospitable person who made our arrival unforgettable. Special praise goes to our waiter, Simone, whose courtesy and cheerfulness are among the most genuine I've ever encountered. We ordered two pizzas in a packed dining room, and in less than 10 minutes they were served: light, crispy, and of superb quality. My sincere compliments go to the entire team, especially pizza chef Marco—a true master of his craft, who elevated the evening to an authentic gourmet experience. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, ideal for enjoying excellent flavors in good company. You are undoubtedly the best: we'll be back soon! Thank you so much for a perfect evening. 21/03/2026: Wow, this cecina is so good! I admit it, I'm from Pisa and I came to Livorno for pizza. Do I regret it? CERTAINLY NOT! Brought here by a dear friend, five of us had dinner to spend a quiet evening together, as we do from time to time. It was a more than welcome discovery. I went there after a day spent out and about without a moment's rest and with a measly sandwich for lunch just to put something to my stomach, so when I got there, I was definitely hungry. I left full, satisfied, not weighed down, and with a smile on my face. Andrea is a top-notch host. He's very attentive to what he does, in love with his job, and with a great attention to his customers and all their most unlikely cravings. Oh right... Passion, so much, a rare thing to find in these places these days. Very fair and modest prices. Spending €24 each for everything we ate and drank, including desserts and coffee/punch, is truly nothing. The place is small, but very personal. Carefully and unmistakably decorated, there was truly a touch of Andrea everywhere. Reservations are recommended, even just out of respect for their organization. The fact is, I ordered a "Lo Squalo," a decidedly rich and flavorful pizza. I asked for a modification due to my inability to appreciate gorgonzola, but Andrea offered to replace it with another dairy-based ingredient, which I definitely found useful and tasty during the pizza tasting. The only real problem there was one: the chickpea cake was MURDERFUL. It was our appetizer (with the addition of eggplant, both spicy and mild, kindly offered by Andrea), and nothing, it did any harm. I was tempted to get up after eating it and cancel my pizza so I could continue eating more! Well, I'm obsessed with cecina, so it was truly love at first bite! To finish our dinner, after we ordered dessert, Andrea even offered us an amaro, which was a welcome and much appreciated (King Kong ♥)! Andrea's wife and the other girl (alas, I don't know their names) who served us throughout the evening were also very kind and helpful. Added to the list of places to return to ♥

03/05/2026: The restaurant is very cute and friendly; I really liked the colorful chairs. The staff is super friendly; you ask for pizza and they bring it to you. The pizzas are the highlight. Not very big, but with tons of mozzarella and quality toppings. Nothing to complain about, very, very good. The only difficulty was when it came to flushing the toilet. Flushing is incredibly difficult and even a little dangerous, but you easily forget it if they offer you a melon.

28/02/2026: The best meal I've ever had in an Italian restaurant... and we eat out quite often on vacation. We had the chef prepare the surprise menu and were absolutely thrilled. We highly recommend this restaurant. Every course was divine, and the service was outstanding. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience.

21/02/2026: We booked this place. The location, let's say, was average; The staff was friendly, the service was acceptable... but the downside was the prices!!! Three pizzas, a bottle of water, and a beer cost €90. The pizzas were soggy and undercooked, with very little toppings. Coffee was €2.50. Unbelievable!!
