05/07/2026: Pizzas ordered from Deliveroo. Delivery was perfect. The pizzas were completely different from the photo: small, heavy, and greasy. The crust seemed pre-cooked and was very cheap, no quality whatsoever.

27/05/2026: How delicious can a pizza be? Pizzeria Trattoria da Emilio says 'yes'. The pizza was incredibly delicious. Prices were great. Highly recommended if you're not looking for anything too fancy. It was perfect for us.

07/08/2026: The place is very busy, it is worth booking in advance. We didn't have a reservation, so we got a seat in the front. Service was fast. Food and drink menu pairing was great.

06/08/2026: Reviews can be misleading!! We booked a table, specifically choosing the inside room because we were told it was air-conditioned. However, when we arrived, the table we booked wasn't available, and we were placed in a smaller room completely devoid of air conditioning. Furthermore, it was very disappointing to discover, upon payment, that the cover charge was €4 per person! The quickly set table was visibly dirty, and there was only a napkin, cutlery, and a glass. You might like the pizza, but let's not call it pizza, please; the more appropriate term is cracker, as it's so thin and toasty!

05/08/2026: Excellent pizza, very nice service, wonderful lady, pleasant and willing to do something extra, even after the final she offered us ice cream and coffee. Delicious wine and good prices. We definitely recommend and greet you.

05/08/2026: First of all, everyone should know that this isn't a typical restaurant. You place your order, and then you do the rest yourself (including cleaning your table and taking away your dishes), which has a definite canteen feel. You have to get your own food and drinks! For me, as a German, this is a canteen, not a restaurant! The food was okay, but the service was unfriendly. We had to ask three times for a few ice cubes.

24/05/2026: I went last night for the first time in 12 years... we ate the pizza that was recommended to us: the dough was excellent, but there was too much mozzarella, which was rubbery and made the pizza heavy. It remained compact. Prices were average. This isn't a harsh criticism, but rather a recommendation if interpreted correctly. The waiter, although very kind (poor, that is), seemed a bit too much for the number of people there. I did, however, see impressive platters with very fresh cured meats and delicious pecorino cheeses; who knows, maybe we'll go back.

01/06/2026: We've been frequenting Lo Squalo pizzeria for a while, and since we discovered it, we've returned often because we've always had such a great experience. Although the space is a bit small, the staff immediately puts customers at ease with their courtesy, kindness, and attentiveness. The service is fast, well-organized, and always welcoming. The ingredients are high-quality, and the dishes, despite their simplicity, are truly delicious and carefully prepared. It's a place where you can happily spend a pleasant evening, in a relaxed, family atmosphere, eating well, and feeling welcomed. That's precisely why we keep coming back and highly recommend it!

21/03/2026: Wow, this cecina is so good! I admit it, I'm from Pisa and I came to Livorno for pizza. Do I regret it? CERTAINLY NOT! Brought here by a dear friend, five of us had dinner to spend a quiet evening together, as we do from time to time. It was a more than welcome discovery. I went there after a day spent out and about without a moment's rest and with a measly sandwich for lunch just to put something to my stomach, so when I got there, I was definitely hungry. I left full, satisfied, not weighed down, and with a smile on my face. Andrea is a top-notch host. He's very attentive to what he does, in love with his job, and with a great attention to his customers and all their most unlikely cravings. Oh right... Passion, so much, a rare thing to find in these places these days. Very fair and modest prices. Spending €24 each for everything we ate and drank, including desserts and coffee/punch, is truly nothing. The place is small, but very personal. Carefully and unmistakably decorated, there was truly a touch of Andrea everywhere. Reservations are recommended, even just out of respect for their organization. The fact is, I ordered a "Lo Squalo," a decidedly rich and flavorful pizza. I asked for a modification due to my inability to appreciate gorgonzola, but Andrea offered to replace it with another dairy-based ingredient, which I definitely found useful and tasty during the pizza tasting. The only real problem there was one: the chickpea cake was MURDERFUL. It was our appetizer (with the addition of eggplant, both spicy and mild, kindly offered by Andrea), and nothing, it did any harm. I was tempted to get up after eating it and cancel my pizza so I could continue eating more! Well, I'm obsessed with cecina, so it was truly love at first bite! To finish our dinner, after we ordered dessert, Andrea even offered us an amaro, which was a welcome and much appreciated (King Kong ♥)! Andrea's wife and the other girl (alas, I don't know their names) who served us throughout the evening were also very kind and helpful. Added to the list of places to return to ♥

09/08/2026: It's not just any pizzeria near the port. My family and I stopped here 45 minutes before the ferry. In five minutes, they had the three pizzas we chose ready. The pizza is delicious, the dough is light, and the woman who runs it makes it. Stop by, it's worth it. The price is fair. Thanks again for the speed.

05/08/2026: Only reviewing the restaurant here, haven’t stayed at the hotel - loved it! They have a super cozy garden, all of the staff was very friendly, the selection of food was good and prices adequate 👍🏻 plus, the kids playground was definitely a bonus!

04/08/2026: Very cool restaurant. Especially for families with children. We were there with our dog, and she wanted to go right back in the next day as soon as we walked by. She was treated like a little kid by the staff 😄 We'll definitely be back! The price-performance ratio is excellent, excellent, excellent!!! 👍

The place immediately strikes you with its welcoming and refined atmosphere, with a beautiful stone interior that creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening. We ordered the pork shank, which was simply extraordinary: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The other meat dishes also proved to be of excellent quality, a sign of great attention to the raw materials. The selection of drinks and cocktails was also very popular, prepared by skilled and creative bartenders, capable of creating truly excellent drinks. A special thanks goes to Martina, the owner, who is truly charming, welcoming, and always available, making the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. In conclusion, I Treccanti is one of the best places in La Spezia: a place where you can eat well, drink even better, and enjoy an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. Kudos to the entire staff for their courtesy, professionalism, and passion, evident in every detail.
