07/05/2026: A simple, welcoming place, the owner is very kind, always willing to please everyone in the best way. The cake is one of the best in Livorno and the pizza in the pan is super.

06/05/2026: I've returned to "Da Leone" several times, trying to give the place new opportunities, because the pizza itself isn't even bad. Unfortunately, however, the experience is ruined by the attitude of the owner and staff: unwelcoming, often cold, and with inappropriate jokes that come across as obnoxious and presumptuous. In a place where you go to feel welcome and enjoy yourself, this really makes a difference. Ultimately, it makes you want to return, and it's a shame because they could do with much more kindness towards their customers.

30/08/2025: We sat in the garden which has real character. Plenty of pizzas on the menu to choose from and very tasty. Good value for money and we would definitely go back if in the area again.

24/08/2025: Very good pizzas, with some special pizzas off the menu (with price). Limited seating, best to book.

04/04/2026: The food was 10/10, great prices for fantastic ingredients (porcini mushrooms, truffles). The waitstaff and chef were incredibly friendly and catered to every need. I would highly recommend it. Reservations are recommended as it's very popular.

14/04/2026: If you're looking for substance and fresh fish, this is the place. We had simply delicious grilled fish, seasoned only with excellent olive oil and lemon. Generous portions, especially the mussel soup, which was incredibly flavorful. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

02/12/2025: I went to dinner with a group of 14 friends with a set menu that included an appetizer, two first courses, and dessert. We spent €65 each on pizza-style food and didn't even order a second course. I felt cheated; I didn't complain to the owner only because I didn't want to upset the friend who brought us. Avoid going there, be careful! To be clear, we had lunch with poor-quality prosecco; four people had an aperitif, then some had coffee, some grappa. But for a quality meal costing €30 per person max, we couldn't have doubled the price, even if we'd drunk Bellavista.

09/02/2026: A little gem in Seccheto on Elba Island, a restaurant with simple furnishings, well-spaced tables, and a tidy, clean atmosphere. The menu is classy and substantial, with a young chef whose creativity and professionalism are astonishing. The dining room staff is attentive and very knowledgeable. Excellent value for money. A wonderful discovery! Highly recommended.

27/01/2026: We used to come to Elba every September. We didn't go for five years, and here we are back in 2025. Vecchio Forno was one of our favorite restaurants on the island. You could eat fresh, local produce there. In five years, things have clearly changed. New management? New owner? In any case, there's very little fresh produce. The fish is frozen. There are no vegetables, or very few. When there are, like that tiny zucchini cake appetizer whose price is as exorbitant as its size, they're cooked and you can't recognize the look or taste of fresh produce. In short, the entire menu is designed to manage stock from the freezer as easily as possible. To top it all off, there was a plastic lid in the tiramisu. In short, an establishment to avoid. It's a shame they destroyed this place, which prided itself on serving only fresh, local products.

07/04/2026: Whenever I've been there, I've always found a family atmosphere, professional, precise staff attentive to customer needs, and excellent products... I recommend trying at least once.

29/03/2026: Very good place for pizza and cake, better to take away because they have few tables and it's crowded. But without a doubt one of the best in Livorno.
