24/05/2025: What can I say....I celebrated my wedding anniversary in the splendid recently renovated venue, truly tastefully done.....A wonderful location with a stunning view of the sea....My wife and I ate really well, the spaghetti allo scoglio were delicious....The cacciucco was excellent as was the very light fried squid....Then the "Messi" dessert...a true masterpiece....Impeccable service....I must say that Mirco and his staff are always up to the task.....As they say in Livorno, truly great stuff....I absolutely recommend it.....

05/05/2025: We celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and were delighted! The terrace offers a breathtaking view of the sea of ​​the island of Elba, perfect for a special evening. We were a nice group of friends with children and the place turned out to be ideal. The food was delicious, the service attentive and friendly. A truly positive experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for an unforgettable dinner.

27/04/2025: First time on Elba. At the La Rosa hotel the welcome and hospitality are good, that kind of atmosphere that doesn't make you feel like a customer but, in fact, a guest. A special thank you to Giada and Linda who made our stay special also from a human point of view. Rooms a little spartan but clean and equipped with everything you need, without any inconveniences. The L'Ottavo pizza restaurant is also good. Good quality house white wine, fish first and second courses prepared with attention and care. Very good pizzas with very good combinations, a quick selection is recommended. We will be back

07/04/2025: I leave 3 stars which in reality would be 2.5 rounded up because I ate a Neapolitan pizza like many others which, although good, is nothing exceptional. There are two factors that negatively influenced my review: the first is that the pizzas underneath were a little blackened (probably because the floor of the oven was not swept well and there was burnt flour or something of the sort) and this meant that the dough had a slight bitter aftertaste while the second factor concerns the quantity of mozzarella on the pizza which was very little (in addition to the high and wide crust there were empty spots where the dough could also be seen in the central part 🥲). On the positive side, I found the menu, the service (even if not very fast), the wide choice of craft beers and the price which, all things considered, was competitive compared to the average in the area. Would I go back? If I choose no, then if it happens again by chance (like tonight) it certainly won't be a problem.

09/05/2025: I was in this restaurant on the occasion of the ElbaTrail in April 2025. I called to book a table for one person and the kindness of the staff was already felt. They reserved an outdoor table for me. The waiters were all friendly and helpful. Fast service even though the place was full of people. Very good, tasty, plentiful food. Do I recommend it? Definitely yes! I haven't tried other restaurants in Marciana Marina, but this one is worth it for cost, quality, and kindness of the staff!

03/05/2025: We dined at La Scaletta twice. One time we ate pizza and the other dishes from the kitchen. The pizza is really good, some have a slightly high price for the type of pizza and ingredients. Delicious fish balls, excellent first courses, good sliced ​​beef but too small for the price. The almond and pistachio cake is good, the lemon cake is a little nauseating (too much meringue for my taste). Definitely a recommended place.

29/05/2025: The restaurant is located near our second home because I live in the province of Rome, when we are in Livorno we try to go there, very welcoming environment, very kind staff, excellent food. The fish, seafood appetizers and especially the fried calamari and shrimp are delicious. Excellent quality / price, I recommend it.

11/05/2025: tipica trattoria, comoda perchè sull'Aurelia, l'interno è molto spartano, ha una veranda chiusa. il menu ha piatti prevalentemente toscani. Abbiamo preso pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale che però navigavano nel sugo, spaghetti allo scoglio, buoni. Meno buoni invece i crostini di fegato che di solito hanno un battuto rustico, questi invece avevano una crema liquida.

01/05/2025: Excellent place to eat typical and non-typical dishes. We had a good time, we went for 3 dinners, all the dishes were excellent, the pizza very good. Very courteous and professional staff. I will definitely return. A little tip on liver crostini, during dinner serve the dishes accompanied with good bread, for tomato bruschetta the bread is excellent and special, but serve the liver crostini on simple white bread. We would like a nice rustic bread. But, I repeat, it is a small thing that does not detract from the beautiful experience we had.
