13/10/2025: Disappointing experience We booked through the number provided, which sent a link on WhatsApp to complete the reservation. Everything seemed perfect: I received the official confirmation and even a reminder message the same day. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. We tried to contact the number provided, but it was either non-existent or deactivated, making it impossible to get information or assistance. The situation was extremely difficult for us: there were six of us, with two small children, in Procchio, where there were no other restaurants open that evening. A disappointing and unprofessional experience. The reservation system should be managed with greater care and reliability.

05/10/2025: Our recent dining experience at Porto Di Mare in Livorno was nothing short of extraordinary—a true culinary highlight that we will not forget. From the moment we stepped inside, we were treated to a refined yet welcoming atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for the incredible meal to come. The focus on fresh, high-quality seafood is evident in every dish, and the preparations are executed with remarkable skill. To start, the Italian oysters (can't remember the Italian name, but the ones in the photo) were spectacular. They were incredibly fresh, plump, and clean-tasting, presenting a beautiful briny essence that was the perfect opener. For the main course, I indulged in the tuna steak, and it was simply sublime. Prepared to perfection, the exterior had a beautiful sear while the inside was gorgeously pink and tender, melting in my mouth. It was clear that this was a top-grade cut of fish, handled with the respect it deserved. My son had the stuffed calamari and my wife fried sea fruits. They were great, but the tuna steak is highly recommended. To cap off the evening, the dessert—a Fondant—was the ideal conclusion. Rich, decadent, and executed flawlessly with a warm, gooey center, it was a comforting and sophisticated finish to a magnificent meal. Finally, a special thank you must go to our waiter, Antonella. Her service was the epitome of professionalism and warmth. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped make our dinner feel effortless and truly special. Porto Di Mare isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination for anyone seeking an authentic, high-end Italian seafood experience. 09/10/2025: A very large selection of pizzas, calzones, and some good fish dishes in the heart of Venturina, with its own parking lot. A simple dining room with a view of the pizza oven and a covered terrace in the pedestrian zone. Fast, friendly service, even when it's busy. Prices are reasonable.

23/09/2025: We've been coming here for a few years, but this is the first time we've written a review, because the place deserves it. We've almost always ordered the so-called tourist menu, which isn't touristy at all: always impeccable fish starters, an excellent mixed fried fish main course, side dishes, and even wine at a more than fair price. Add to that the very friendly and courteous staff and the beautiful view of the Rio Marina harbor, and it's one of the best restaurants on Elba. Congratulations to the management and staff, and see you next year! We want to try the pizza, which looks wonderful...

02/10/2025: I found this restaurant by chance on a business trip, traveling between Portoferraio and Portoazzurro. I had a delicious seafood dinner, beautifully served in a welcoming and clean atmosphere. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable.

The staff weren't very attentive or chatty the entire time (drinks were left out without comment), and the overall impression wasn't particularly inviting. The food, however, was very good; the chef was excellent.

13/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had dinner at I Treccanti wine bar and restaurant, and the experience was truly excellent. The place immediately strikes you with its welcoming and refined atmosphere, with a beautiful stone interior that creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening. We ordered the pork shank, which was simply extraordinary: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The other meat dishes also proved to be of excellent quality, a sign of great attention to the raw materials. The selection of drinks and cocktails was also very popular, prepared by skilled and creative bartenders, capable of creating truly excellent drinks. A special thanks goes to Martina, the owner, who is truly charming, welcoming, and always available, making the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. In conclusion, I Treccanti is one of the best places in La Spezia: a place where you can eat well, drink even better, and enjoy an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. Kudos to the entire staff for their courtesy, professionalism, and passion, evident in every detail.

27/09/2025: We were looking for a good pizzeria around Castglioncello, and this one was truly excellent. Homemade dough and a truly delicious flavor. The crust was also perfect and not soggy. Truly perfect pizza, something we didn't experience so quickly on our trip to Tuscany.

28/09/2025: The Calafata restaurant is located directly on the Porto Azzurro harbor. It has an indoor dining area and an outdoor area overlooking the harbor. There were two of us, and we ordered a tuna tartare appetizer that was simply perfect: the cut of meat, the seasonings were excellent, and the meat was of the highest quality. We then ordered a plate of textbook spaghetti with clams, and the sea bream and baked potatoes were excellent. The restaurant's value for money is excellent: fresh, tasty fish at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the service was a bit below expectations for the location and the menu. We waited a while for our spaghetti with clams, and the waiters were rushed. Regardless, this is a restaurant I would recommend, especially for a dinner with friends or as a couple.

11/09/2025: Superb pizza. The best I've had on Elba. The decor is rather simple, but the pizza makes up for it. All at very reasonable prices, too. Locals in particular go there to eat or take their food with them. Highly recommended. Not just Maga, but also Mega.

05/10/2025: We eat there at least twice a year on vacation. The service is very attentive and very friendly. The table is set with proper tablecloths, matching cloth napkins, wine glasses, good cutlery, soft drink glasses, and a small table lamp in the center of the table. The food, whether appetizer, main course, or dessert, is delicious, generously portioned, and fresh. The value for money is excellent. We'll be back, and not just because of tradition.

13/10/2025: I've been coming to this place for years for my children's birthdays, family celebrations, dinners with friends, and even for takeout. Rossella and Valerio always live up to every expectation; they've never stopped, improving year after year, giving it their all. You can feel the care and attention they take in every corner, as well as the immense attention they pay to their customers. That said, every single dish on the menu is a must-try, including the pizzas. Thinking back to yesterday, I've never had tagliatelle with wild boar ragù this good. Thank you for your always kind, fast, and attentive service.
