30/08/2025: We sat in the garden which has real character. Plenty of pizzas on the menu to choose from and very tasty. Good value for money and we would definitely go back if in the area again.

05/12/2025: A true gem in Porto Azzurro! We dined at Calafata Osteria and can't recommend it highly enough. The restaurant overlooks the sea, creating a relaxing and romantic atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a proper seafood dinner. The staff was simply impeccable: kind, attentive, and always smiling, they made us feel welcomed and at home. But the real star was the seafood: incredibly fresh, expertly cooked, and showcased in every dish without too many frills, leaving room for the authentic flavors of the sea. And above all, the restaurant's sea view and the fact that the bill was truly perfect—in fact, we thought we'd spend more—made the experience even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

19/02/2026: The dining room is nice, the waiters are friendly. First sitting at 7:30 PM, I waited longer than necessary for the pizzas, which were a bit cold. The 33cl beer, 0.4 on the bill, was 8 euros. The total price was 25 euros per person for a cuoppo for two, two pizzas, a water, and a beer, for a total of 50 euros. A bit high.

Special praise goes to our waiter, Simone, whose courtesy and cheerfulness are among the most genuine I've ever encountered. We ordered two pizzas in a packed dining room, and in less than 10 minutes they were served: light, crispy, and of superb quality. My sincere compliments go to the entire team, especially pizza chef Marco—a true master of his craft, who elevated the evening to an authentic gourmet experience. 02/10/2025: I found this restaurant by chance on a business trip, traveling between Portoferraio and Portoazzurro. I had a delicious seafood dinner, beautifully served in a welcoming and clean atmosphere. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable.

30/09/2025: We had a reservation, and when we arrived, there weren't enough chairs or table settings. The staff weren't very attentive or chatty the entire time (drinks were left out without comment), and the overall impression wasn't particularly inviting. The food, however, was very good; the chef was excellent.

11/09/2025: Superb pizza. The best I've had on Elba. The decor is rather simple, but the pizza makes up for it. All at very reasonable prices, too. Locals in particular go there to eat or take their food with them. Highly recommended. Not just Maga, but also Mega.

23/09/2025: We've been coming here for a few years, but this is the first time we've written a review, because the place deserves it. We've almost always ordered the so-called tourist menu, which isn't touristy at all: always impeccable fish starters, an excellent mixed fried fish main course, side dishes, and even wine at a more than fair price. Add to that the very friendly and courteous staff and the beautiful view of the Rio Marina harbor, and it's one of the best restaurants on Elba. Congratulations to the management and staff, and see you next year! We want to try the pizza, which looks wonderful...

The plates were empty, the staff was cheerful and welcoming 💪 the view was beautiful. It was cozy and warm, and our day was wonderful. Even the waiter chose the perfect wine. We need more places like this, filled with warmth and nice people 🩵

You can feel the passion and professionalism in every detail. I will definitely be back and recommend it without hesitation!

29/09/2025: We went to this restaurant for pizza; there were eight of us. The pizza was also good. We arrived at 8:10 PM and ordered within 10 minutes. Our pizzas were brought just a few minutes later. They barely let us finish eating before they snatched our plates from under our noses. They asked if we wanted anything else. After we hesitated, they clearly told us they needed a table. In effect, they politely sent us away after only 45 minutes. If you decide to eat out, it's also to spend time together and chat. If you have multiple seatings, you need to make this clear when booking! Which didn't happen. A negative experience.
