31/03/2025: Absolutely love Dantes restaurant. Came here 3 times on a weekend break and loved every meal, the Gnocchi is amazing, the risotto & pizza too, went for Penne chicken and broccoli which was so good. Would be happy to eat here everyday. Great value, fantastic traditional food and atmosphere. Love the music. Place was spotless, but the warmth and generosity of the owner and host was what made it a go-to restaurant in Florence on the southside of the river.

29/09/2024: Personeel is vriendelijk, locatie is mooi. Keuze op de kaart is goed divers. Helaas vergaten ze ons flesje water op de tafel te zetten. Wat kan gebeuren natuurlijk. Maar we kregen als voor: Bruschetta: Droog, verse ingrediënten, geen kruiden. Echt te simpel. Caprese was oké, maar geen kruiden, geen basilicum, weinig diepte. Toen hadden we mixed grill besteld. Helaas droog, kruidloos, elk vlees smaakte naar dezelfde grill. We hebben dit niet opgegeten, hebben betaald maar er werd ook niet naar feedback gevraagd. Enorm jammer 😣

02/04/2025: Absolute worst experience I've ever had at a cafe. The hygiene at the bar is visibly poor and when I went to the toilets it was very dirty (toilets and floor) and no toilet paper. I went to ask the waiter for toilet paper. I first asked in english since this place is located in a touristic part and full of americans, but he did not understand, which is ok, so I tried my best in italian, making the mistake of using one word in spanish instead of italian. This waiter then proceeds to complain in italian that he does not speak spanish. He then ignores me and continues all his other tasks. This time I try again to ask in italian with all the correct words and he yells to me that now he understands and that I shouldn't speak spanish to him and that he is busy with clients (I'm a client there too). He gives one paper tissue. Very unnacceptable since the wc is disgusting and what am I going to do with this one piece of paper. This time I say in english - no, just give me toilet paper please -, and now suddenly everybody understands english and takes them 5 seconds to finally get it. Also don't assume just because someone is not speaking italian well that they cannot understand what you are saying about them , rude!

08/02/2025: Ho ordinato stasera tre pizze, prezzi troppo alti, pizza sottilissima, gommosa, ingredienti non buonissimi, arrivati puntuali devo dire, l’unica cosa positiva. Non la consiglierei sicuramente sia per il prezzo troppo alto per quello che ti arriva sia per il gusto.

13/10/2024: We stayed at this property in mid-October and had a very good time. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and generally well-maintained structure with swimming pool still accessible. Special mention for the staff starting from the girl at the reception up to the chef who is always kind and extremely helpful.

07/12/2024: Ein befreundeter Pizzaiolo hat mal dort gearbeitet und hat mir die Pizzeria empfohlen. "Normale" Pizze und Gourmetpizze. Nicht ganz billig, aber alles Top-Qualität. Sehr gut besucht von Einheimischen. Ich weiß....man fährt nicht in die Toscana zum Pizza-Essen....aber sie war echt gut! Kamut/Vollkornpizza als Teigalternativen.

29/12/2024: To flee! Restaurant poorly located, however we chose it for its proximity to Novotel. Endless waiting, almost an hour to wait for the famous Florentine specialty "bistecca alla florentina" which we hastened to taste. Eventually my wife got massive food poisoning and has been bedridden for 2 days now, so we weren't able to visit Florence. The meat was poorly cooked, and the hygienic conditions must be more than questionable for my wife to be so ill...
