13/12/2025: A disappointing experience despite the positive reviews. It's a small osteria in a hamlet just outside Arezzo. We sat down for lunch; we weren't given a menu; instead, the owner/waiter verbally listed a selection of three or four first courses and four second courses. The quality was average to low, and the fact that everything was served within minutes of ordering suggests it was all precooked. The ravioli with meat sauce were decent, but the rabbit, fried long beforehand and then reheated in the oven, was inedible. Green beans with sauce were served on the side, but they were probably lemon-flavored beforehand. Nearly €60 for a first course, two second courses, two side dishes, two desserts, and a bottle of water wouldn't be too much, but forget about the flavors of Tuscan cuisine.

21/12/2025: We had a really good time. We were given a Smart Box gift, so we booked and opted for lunch. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside, the place is welcoming and pleasant. It's well-decorated with just the right number of tables. The food was really good, with limited selection but good quality. The two gentlemen who served us were really nice and helpful. The dishes change weekly, depending on the season and culinary choices. Everything was very good, the "peposo" in particular was truly delicious and flavorful. Rating: 8

01/02/2026: As far as I'm concerned, pizza is only Neapolitan, but I have to be honest, it made me rediscover the pleasure of Tuscan pizza; truly delicious, very digestible, top-quality ingredients, extremely welcoming and polite staff. As soon as we arrived, they brought us a sort of appetizer (as a courtesy to guests), which was very, very, very welcome and delicious. The baked goods were amazing... the cleanliness was excellent... The price was more than fair. Very good! We'll be back more than happy to.

04/12/2025: A simple, informal atmosphere where you feel right at home. People come for pizza. There's a limited choice of starters and no main courses, as this is a renowned bakery that has adapted to serving pizza at table service in the evenings. There are appetizers, though, and the owners offer a small welcome selection of savory appetizers, followed by desserts at the end of the meal. The pizza is thin, in keeping with local tradition, and in my opinion, good. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. If you want to spend a pleasant evening at a truly reasonable price, this place is ideal.

14/10/2025: I ate well, but I booked a table for the evening, we arrived but the lady had other people sit there, she gave us another table, then a couple of friends of the lady arrived and served them first and then us.

07/12/2025: Great experience; we wandered in by chance, and it was a lucky find. Authentic American burgers, excellent selection of sauces, excellent desserts, especially the coconut one, excellent beer selection. I would probably only improve the fries, but the rest is recommended. Average cost: €30 per person.

30/11/2025: The place is clean, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, and most importantly, there's a varied menu with plenty of choices. The desserts are out of this world; I recommend the coconut and chocolate cake and the pear and chocolate cake. An experience I absolutely must repeat!

12/10/2025: We went for lunch today. The chef and the person who served us were extremely kind. We had two calamaratas, a burrata ravioli, a rice gnudo, a mussel pepper dish, and a hamburger. The dishes were truly delicious and beautifully presented. The chef also gave us a truly special dessert: an extra portion of ravioli for my daughter, who was still hungry. He also brought my wife a sample of calamarata, as he put it, "so she wouldn't go away craving it." It's rare to find such quality and kindness toward customers as the charming chef Stefano showed us. We had a good laugh over the combination of local cuisine and refined food, which is truly rare. The price was more than fair. When and if we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: We went for dinner on Saturday and opted for the set menu, which included an appetizer, truffle agnolotti, mixed grill with roast potatoes, sliced ​​beef, salad, desserts, liqueurs, and coffee. The food was excellent and plentiful, all for a reasonable price of €30, in my opinion. Everything was delicious. The place is reminiscent of old-fashioned trattorias from the 1980s, surrounded by greenery, with the option of dining outside in the summer, offering peace and quiet. The staff is friendly and fast. Recommended.

26/09/2025: We went there with some friends to eat a pizza, which I would describe as really good: not thick, well-topped, crispy, excellent, whether Kamut, wholemeal or wheat flour. The place is often full, I would recommend booking, large parking and quality service, I can only recommend it, obviously there are not only pizzas but you can eat everything and with satisfaction.

18/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, and immediately found the atmosphere very welcoming. Quality homemade food, excellent value. For lovers of thin pizza, this is the place to be. Impeccable service. Clean.

04/09/2025: My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a Google recommendation. It's not a large but well-maintained restaurant, with outdoor seating in the center of town. For starters, we had ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage, and a cream of truffle and porcini mushrooms, both delicious. For main course, grilled chicken breast for two, with a side of lemon spinach and French fries. For dessert, we had tiramisu (homemade) and caramel panna cotta, water, and a Coke. Everything was truly well-cooked, combined with friendly and professional service, so there were no long waits despite the crowded restaurant. The bill, €50, proved to be a truly excellent value. Highly recommended!

25/10/2025: Great, homemade food and very friendly service – you feel like you're dining with family. The pizza is also excellent. If you're planning to eat during the week, it's worth considering that the place is frequently visited by locals and children from the school next door – they create the unique, family-friendly atmosphere of the community.

17/10/2025: We stopped here for lunch and were glad we did. The place was full of locals which is always a good sign. The owners seemed to genuinely care whether we were satisfied with the food and when we were about to leave, insisted we try a piece of the apple cake (on the house) which was delicious.

22/11/2025: For me, Croce del Travaglio has become much more than a restaurant; it's a second home where I return often, and every time is a confirmation. ​The food here is an absolute guarantee: the chefs are formidable. While the pici with Chianina ragù and the pici with garlic are a delight for both the eyes and the palate, I must confess my weakness: the pici alla contadina. That duck ragù is indescribable, my absolute favorite dish that I can never say no to. ​But what keeps me coming back, besides the divine food, are the people. With Paola's kindness and Toni's energy, a true friendship has been born. Toni, in particular, is incredible: engaging, incredibly funny, but above all, a kind and talented person unlike any other. It's precisely his humanity that makes every lunch or dinner a special moment. If you want to eat well and feel welcomed by friends, come here for sure.

09/01/2026: The place is very nice, it has the typical look of a pub, the food and drinks are very good and not too expensive. The service is very quick and efficient and the staff is friendly. The only thing I'd say (it happened tonight for the first time so it's just a suggestion, not a complaint) is that asking for payment while people are still eating is a bit tacky. We paid with half a jalapeño in our hand. It would have been nicer to wait until the customer was finished. Maybe it was just an episode from tonight, but I wanted to share.
