28/10/2025: Didn´t use the rooms, only went there to eat. Very good food, the linguine di gragnano was amazing and full of taste. It was so good I was a little emotional, although the wine might have helped with that 😅 We went there twice and both times the pasta was al dente. 20/10/2025: We followed the recommendations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was served in a dog bowl. I had the suckling pig, which had more fat than anything else and was reheated, meaning it wasn't freshly prepared! My partner's fish platter wasn't great either. There are plenty of other places where the food is amazing. This was actually the worst thing we ate on the island in 7 days, and it cost €97.00. The price/performance ratio is absolutely unjustified! Unfortunately, we won't be back!

05/03/2026: Literally and completely honestly, this was the worst food I have ever had in a restaurant in Italy. We were actually afraid to eat it, worried about getting food poisoning (the pasta). I regret that I didn’t take a photo of the dish. We ordered two pasta dishes and a pizza, and everything was unbelievably poor. Unfortunately, we were there out of season and there were no alternatives nearby. I don’t know—maybe in the high season someone else is cooking. Additionally, the background music was some YouTube Shorts video playing on a loop over bluetooth speaker, so for 30–40 minutes we listened to the same Italian song over and over again. Mentally we had already had enough after about 15 minutes. On the positive side, the staff was friendly.

19/10/2025: Welcoming, lively, modern place, with excellent staff, especially Mario's daughter, who is very cheerful and attentive to detail. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful restaurant, our first time there, and it certainly won't be our last. I highly recommend it ☺️

01/03/2026: The pinsas are good, but last night I didn't have a great experience... we ordered at 8:40 PM and the dishes arrived at 9:50 PM (1:10 AM) due to a problem with the water boiler, which a waiter informed us. I ordered a carbonara, but it arrived lukewarm, almost cold (I would have had it remade, but given the biblical waiting times, I didn't know what time I'd receive the dish, so I gave up...). At least the tiramisu saved this disastrous dinner.

21/02/2026: Passing through before catching the ship with my family. I'm returning after almost 20 years and the feeling is still the same: one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. It's a shame I live 300 km away, otherwise I'd be there every day.

13/02/2026: Unfortunately, I only discovered this pizzeria a few years ago... what can I say? The staff is always friendly and helpful! The pizzas are nothing short of spectacular. Highly recommended!

When you sit down, you are surrounded by a soft murmur, candlelight and the scent of freshly baked pizza and garlic that slowly fills the air. It is warm, intimate and completely stress-free. The food is rustic and self-evident. The pizza has the perfect balance between crispy bottom and soft middle, the pasta is generous and full of flavor, and each dish feels prepared with respect for tradition rather than trends. A glass of wine in your hand, stones under your feet and time that suddenly doesn't matter. You stay here for a long time. Talking a little quieter, laughing a little more, letting the evening take shape. Lu Furat is not just a restaurant – it is part of the soul of Alghero, where food, history and presence merge into something you take home with you.
