10/02/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellence that defies time: the beating heart of Bortigali I've been frequenting Pizzeria da Pippo since it opened over thirty years ago, and every time I walk through its doors, it's like coming home. It's rare to find a place capable of maintaining such high standards for three decades, but Pippo and Bea manage it with disarming ease: over the years, the quality has never waned; on the contrary, it has constantly evolved towards absolute excellence. Here's why, in my opinion, it's a must-see: • The Welcome: Pippo and Bea are the soul of the place. Their welcome is always warm, friendly, and genuine; they make you feel like an honored guest, never just a customer. • Superior Raw Materials: The sourcing of ingredients is meticulous. You can clearly sense that behind every pizza is a selection of the highest-quality, fresh, and flavorful products. • The Atmosphere: The atmosphere is familiar, intimate, and meticulously crafted. It's the perfect place for a quiet dinner or to celebrate a special occasion in a welcoming atmosphere. In a rapidly changing world, Pizzeria da Pippo remains a guarantee of quality and courtesy. 26/07/2025: You never forget a pizza like this... but only because the trauma lingers. Thick, chewy, and raw dough, it tasted like a poorly leavened ciabatta bread that'd been microwaved. Every bite was a fight for survival: you chewed, and the dough, instead of disappearing, swelled in your mouth like construction site insulation, slowly suffocating you. I swear, I had time to reevaluate my entire life while trying to swallow. And then, the final blow: a hair. Just one, but well-placed. Elegant, right at the top, tucked into the dough, like the icing on the cake of horror. I don't know if it was pubic, the chef's, or a mythological creature, but I only know that it completely ruined my appetite and my faith in humanity. In short: a nightmare pizza. Not recommended for anyone who wants to live. I'll start by saying that I'm writing this review only after the third time I've found hair in the dough, but that's enough for now. I absolutely don't recommend it; avoid it, yes, but I'm not stupid. I have pictures of everything by the way, so don't let anyone tell me it's not true.

13/12/2025: Lunch for two: pesto pasta for me, and baby octopus, calamari, and peas for two. What can I say? It was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

20/07/2025: Pranzato a Chia in questo ristorante carino, ben arredato, con parcheggio disponibile e esterno ben curato Pietanze buone sia i tagliolini allo scoglio che la seppia grigliata, tenera e saporita. Personale gentile. Ottimo il finale con sorbetto al mirto!!!

19/07/2025: Location carina e personale gentile, ma oltre a questo il nulla! Appena ci siamo seduti, il direttore di sala si è precitato al tavolo per informarci che per i primi piatti ci sarebbe stato da attendere oltre un'ora in quanto l'orario (le 21.15) era quello del massimno afflusso di clienti. Abbiamo così optato per una due fritture iniziali e per un piatto di spaghetti da portare successivamente. Definire la prima portata scarsa è poco, la barchetta di legno era mezza vuota, frittura che nel piatto avrebbe fatto una figura ancora più misera (ecco spiegata la scelta di questo anomalo piatto di portata..)! Ma il peggio è stato il proseguo, con un primo piatto che nulla aveva a che vedere con quello ordinato: invece di un piatto di spaghetti, ci hanno servito un piatto di cappellini, molto più veloci da cuocere (infatti è arrivato dopo 40' e non dopo l'ora abbondante ipotizzata inizialmente), ma che in termini di gusto, nulla avevano a che vedere con gli spaghetti. Esperienza NEGATIVA, sicuramente da non ripete, visto anche il prezzo delle portate, 28€ per la frittuira e 18€ gli pseudo-spaghetti!!

03/06/2025: A beautiful restaurant with minimalist yet striking decor and an exhibition of works by Sardinian artists like Angelo Maggi. Excellent food, from pizza to seafood. The owner is kind and helpful, the service is excellent, and the wine selection is excellent for those who enjoy a fine glass of wine with their meal. I always enjoy returning when I return to Nuoro.

31/07/2025: Location molto carna e allo stesso tempo elegante. Personale molto preparato e professionale con la bella compagnia della loro mascotte, un labrador che però non ricordo il nome. Cibo buono ma mi aspettavo un po' più di sapore. Seadas buonissima. Prezzo a mio parere leggermente alto
