03/06/2025: An experience to do, when you enter this place you perceive the charm and the history, the Piarist cloister with a real chapel inside is amazing, Antonio is an excellent host, he welcomes you as if he had been your friend forever. His dishes are typical and cooked with the products of his countryside. The thing that fascinated me a lot is that he showed us his entire restaurant and also the kitchen where his mother is and immediately you feel the warmth of home. His place is very elegant and full of small details, truly a gem. His tasty dishes, rediscover the true flavors and well presented. Congratulations to Antonio, his sister and his mother. 02/06/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best pizza in Lecce, great quality, fair prices! Il Pizzicotto is hands down the best pizza spot we’ve found in Lecce! We tried a Quattro Formaggi with walnuts and honey, as well as a Diavola – both were absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ingredients were super fresh and high-quality. The sweet and savory mix of cheese, honey, and walnuts was outstanding, and the Diavola had just the right level of heat. Prices depend on the weight of each slice, typically between €2 and €4, but for this quality, it's totally worth it. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and a great selection of pizza varieties. We’re definitely coming back tomorrow, highly recommended! 🍕🔥

26/05/2025: Personale gentilissimo e attento, lavorano tutti sempre con il sorriso e sono attenti alle esigenze dei clienti. Le pizze sono buonissime, così come gli antipasti tipici della tradizione napoletana e i dessert. Prezzi onesti e perfettamente corrispondenti alla qualità del menù. Abbiamo prenotato qui già diverse volte in coppia e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi tanto che abbiamo nuovamente scelto questa pizzeria per trascorrere un sabato sera in famiglia. Una garanzia!

10/06/2025: Absolutely mind-blowing! I had the most incredible pizza experience that was nothing short of spectacular. Let me dive into the details of my vegan appetizer and pizza! The simplicity of the dish was enhanced by the incredibly fermented dough—it was a game changer. My celiac mum even had to peel off the crust of her pizza at home, but trust me, it was worth it! I stashed away a quarter of my pizza, wrapped in foil, and savored it three days later, cold from the fridge. To my surprise, it was still fantastic! I was so enamored that I snapped just one picture—one that captures the essence of how amazing it was! I can’t recommend this place enough; they were so accommodating and truly deserve all the praise!

31/05/2025: It’s been a really long time since I had a culinary experience of this level. I admit that it’s a bit difficult to surprise me with food. The last time was in a starred restaurant and I have to admit that the dinner at I Rocci surpassed even that. The research in the dishes is visible, it’s felt, but it’s totally devoid of that self-assurance that is often called “experimentation”. At I Rocci the chef places himself without protagonism, it seems that he places himself after the ingredient, after the palate of the guest to whom the kitchen reserves a little surprise before ordering and at the end of the meal, after dessert. In the dining room, the atmosphere is informal and cheerful but without a lack of attention. I have no idea how much was spent, I was my son’s guest, but whatever the bill, it was well deserved. The joy and happiness of the dinner continues even today. Thanks again.

09/06/2025: We’re spending a week in Lecce and have already been to Rustica twice — it’s that good. The food is absolutely amazing, full of bold, rustic flavors that somehow feel both homely and refined. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, but the mountains (yes, the mountains!) are something else! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. A special mention must go to Julia, whose cheeky smile and warm energy added an extra sparkle to both our visits. She’s an absolute delight and made us feel so at home. We’ll definitely be back again before we leave. If you’re in Lecce, make sure Rustica is on your list.

09/06/2025: We ordered 2 pizzas and a bottle of water. The service was great and we were treated pretty well, especially when we asked for money to be moved from a table because some customers were smoking. It would probably be a good idea to add some more staff because we called the girl who took orders 3 times and 3 times she told us to wait and then didn't come, I understand very well that given the amount of people there it's not easy to keep up with everyone. Therefore, adding some staff would improve the service. The food was great and the wait was average, I still feel like recommending the place, at least for the pizzas.

21/06/2025: One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The dough is light and thin, tomatoes are fresh and full of taste, bufala mozzarella is delicious! Choose pizza bufala. For two pizzas and two beers we paid 21€

17/06/2025: The pizzas are very good, with a wide selection and a beautiful outdoor setting in a courtyard adorned with palm trees. The crust could be lighter but remains very airy and digestible.

26/06/2025: I am back to review this excellent pizzeria after five years and I confirm the minimum pass mark. It is the service that does not progress. A booked table to which two chairs are added in front of us to "stay closer" (there were 10 of us) obviously not set. An oversight that is understandable... A place setting is missing that we take from the one next door that will also remain vacant. We order beers but, one does not arrive and so we have to call the waiter. Guys, these are small nuances that can be overcome! but, when you bring guests with whom you want to make a good impression (the pizzas are excellent) the whole thing falls a bit short.
