13/12/2025: A truly positive experience. The freshest fish, cooked to perfection. The homemade desserts are also highly recommended. In winter, the warm atmosphere creates a Christmassy atmosphere. In spring and summer, the terrace with its breathtaking views of the Gargano offers a romantic and evocative setting.

30/11/2025: Our first time at the embassy for lunch. They were friendly, right from the phone reservation. We ordered the tasting menu for €40 per person, excluding drinks and service charge. There were so many courses, each one better than the last. The food was high-quality, but cooked simply and authentically. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

03/12/2025: Such a wonderful restaurant! Now operating under the name “D’orazio” I visited last night with my wife and mother-in-law, the staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant is beautiful, welcoming & clean. We were greeted by the owner who is also fluent in English, and very well spoken. There are also Menu’s available in English too, to navigate all the beautiful pizzas they had to offer with a wide selection of drinks available. The staff were amazing, the cooks were fantastic and the business is extremely well organised. If you have the opportunity please take the time to visit.

13/01/2026: An institution! Located on one of Manfredonia's main streets, 'La Kambusa' offers high-quality products and consistently fast, courteous service. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and bright. A typical pizza by the slice, the menu also offers a wide selection: pizza by the plate and pan pizza with light, easily digestible dough and top-quality toppings, delicious French fries and baked potatoes, an assortment of fried and baked appetizers (I highly recommend their fried panzerotto with tomato and mozzarella), and even filled sandwiches. The pizzeria also offers fast home delivery through the Moovengo platform. Highly recommended!

03/01/2026: A welcoming, family atmosphere. The owners are attentive and friendly. We went for lunch at 3:00 PM, having just arrived in Vieste, and they welcomed us with a smile. The food was excellent and the portions generous, so much so that we were happy to return.

10/01/2026: Nice place, very close to the train station. Excellent food, friendly staff. Fair price. I had two chops with sauce (involtini) and a plate of grilled vegetables, a medium red beer, and a dessert coffee for €38. I'm not giving it 5 stars for two reasons. First, people waiting for takeout are standing between the tables, and the door keeps opening, letting in cold air (I was there on January 10, 2026), and I was right next to the door, being alone; it was the only suitable table. Second, the coffee was served without sugar, a rather trivial oversight, but given the staff's busy schedule, I didn't feel like waiting.

23/10/2025: Review: Chalet Degli Ulivi (visit in August 2025) Unfortunately, our visit was a disappointment – ​​even though we were really looking forward to it after reading so many good reviews. The service was completely overwhelmed: only one waiter was allowed to take orders, the others seemed to wander around aimlessly, only allowed to serve or clear away. The wait was correspondingly long – and even when our glasses were long empty, no one thought to ask if we wanted something else to drink. Our child's meal arrived 20 minutes before the adults', and our plates arrived one by one with an even longer delay. Nothing is more uncomfortable than when one person at a table is already finished while another is just getting started. The playground area was also a disappointment: there was a charge, although this wasn't clearly communicated anywhere – neither on the website nor on Facebook. We came specifically for that. Food? Mediocre. The pasta and pizza were okay, the meat was actually good – but when the wrong side dishes arrive (four sad potato slices for €5 instead of fries!) and the "mixed salad" consists only of green salad, without the fennel or cucumbers as advertised, you eventually lose patience. The ambiance is nice, yes. But a beautiful wooden house alone doesn't make a good restaurant. Anyone who relies on its view instead of organization, service, and honesty won't have satisfied customers in the long run. By the way, we then had to wait another 30 minutes for the bill – a worthy end to a frustrating evening. Conclusion: Nice restaurant, unfortunately with a lot of show and little substance. Three stars – only because the meat was really good.

18/10/2025: Arrived at a nearby agriturismo/masseria whose restaurant was closed for the season. Googled and found Chalet Degli Ulivi. Great find. Being Saturday night our last minute reservation using What's App got us outside but under cover. The restaurant provided a wrap for my wife. Nice touch. We started with the caciocavallo al forno. Who doesn't love good melted chesse? And this was good. I had the Bombette Pugliesi and these were great, the potatoes also delicious. My wife enjoyed the iberico pork which was devine! Amazingly tender texture and full of flavor. All paired nicely with a wonderful, bold yet mature fruit balanced palate primitivo. We finished with an amazing tiramisu. So many tiramisu are just so so, this one was both delicious and cleverly presented in a flower pot. This was a wonderful meal.

22/08/2025: The best of the best, an excellent trattoria. I go there every year in San Giovanni Rotondo, and this year I discovered this trattoria. I recommend it to everyone. The food is plentiful and delicious, the pizzas are fantastic, and both the owner and the staff are very kind and make you feel right at home. I will definitely be back.

14/10/2025: First time having this experience. I told them I love for food. So they made that happen. I tasted dishes that I have never experienced in my life. 6 different plates from anti pasto, pizza, pasta and dessert. Wines, beer, after dinner drink. I was there for 4 hrs. I feel in love with the food and the people who call this place they're home. An experience of flavors and love put into the food. 10/10 recommend
