It rarely happens to me to leave a restaurant with the feeling that everything has been done with coherence, competence and respect for the territory. Ambasciata Orsarese is one of those places where traditional cuisine is not only told, but actually experienced. The raw materials are local, fresh and of evident quality. The special effect is not sought, but balance: each dish has a meaning, a story and solid preparation behind it. You can perceive a real short supply chain, without compromises. The service was perfect: trained, courteous and present staff at the right point, without forcing. From someone who works in the sector, it is nice to see a room managed with this level of professionalism. A place to keep in mind for those who love authentic cuisine, done well and without pretence. I will definitely return, and I will recommend it with conviction.

Che dire super consigliato e ormai tappa fissa ogni qualvolta torniamo nella città di San Pio! Complimenti a tutto lo staff una garanzia tra gentilezza e qualità ottima dei prodotti!

03/06/2025: Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per due con un celiaco, arrivati sul posto ci hanno fatto sedere, portato da bere, poi per mezz'ora non si è visto più nessuno. È arrivata la proprietaria (credo) dicendo che non avevano preparato l'impasto senza glutine perché al momento della prenotazione il ragazzo non aveva segnato la presenza di un celiaco, cosa non vera perché quando ci siamo seduti la ragazza si è presentata al tavolo aveva il menù senza glutine chiedendo chi dei due fosse il celiaco. Abbiamo avuto la netta sensazione che l'impasto era stato "indirizzato" su un altro tavolo dove si erano seduti due clienti locali senza prenotare. Quindi se siete turisti tenete presente che potreste essere accolti come clienti di seconda fascia.

27/05/2025: I hadn't booked, I was alone, but they still found me a place to stay. I enjoyed the small entrée of pappa al pomodoro, the average spaghetti allo scoglio, the calamari alla Maltese (mistakenly indicated alla massese on the menu) are fabulous! The rest of the menu is still all to be discovered for me.... I will definitely return, I recommend it... A special mention to the bread, delicious (the owner told me that it is their own production... The room is slightly noisy when the place is full (obviously) Clean and tidy bathrooms, small parking lot adjacent to the entrance... Seating also outside (but on the roadside)

22/04/2025: Ho prenotato per il pranzo di pasquetta 20.04.2025, nella prenotazione avevo già esposto i problemi alimentari e mi è stato detto che non c'erano problemi per le variazioni, richiedo conferma il giorno prima e mi viene detto di riferire al cameriere del tavolo... Arriviamo, riferisco e x gli intolleranti ovviamente non c'è niente di dedicato solo pietanze già pronte. I primi solo alcuni dove i formaggi venivano aggiunti dopo, il dolce con la frutta arriva solo la frutta, la carne invece arriva cruda e la salsiccia salatissima. Dai 2 primi previsti dal menù ho potuto mangiare solo 1, senza il dolce e gli antipasti da chissà cosa previsto ho dovuto accontentarmi delle verdure grigliate. Alla cassa poi hanno fatto la parte di un misero sconto di 5€. 1 stella extra solo x il personale di sala.

25/05/2025: One ordinary Sunday, my father and I were guests at the tavern. We were welcomed by relaxing music, they made us sit in a very beautiful and refined room. We had lunch with typical dishes of the Foggia tradition: troccoli with ragù and braciola, we closed with a magnificent tiramisu. Very satisfied, to be repeated absolutely also because in addition to the goodness of the dishes we were struck by the kindness of the staff.

Pizze ottime e ricercate, ingredienti di qualità e del territorio, birre pugliesi. Servizio attento, puntuale. Insomma...si vede che c'è attenzione, professionalità e amore per questo lavoro! Consigliatissimo!
