29/11/2025: I discovered a place where the raw ingredients are undeniably excellent and beautifully served and presented, with excellent and attentive service! Top pizza, light and digestible dough, equally excellent and well-cooked meats like the fillet of colt and the spectacular Andriese cutlet, and finally the ricotta cannoli 😍
16/11/2025: I visited Virgò in Andria and had a truly amazing experience. We started with a selection of carefully selected and flavorful appetizers. The platters deserve a special mention: top-quality cured meats, tender and fragrant, literally melting in the mouth.
The pizzas were another pleasant discovery: light, well-leavened, and made with fresh ingredients. The sliced meat didn't disappoint either: perfectly cooked, the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful.
A place that combines quality, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. Virgò is definitely a place I'll return to and one I recommend without hesitation.

14/12/2025: I travel far and wide throughout Puglia, but Portento is always the best.
A few days ago, we heard the news that Italian cuisine has been named a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. So we can say that Portento is its flagship.
Pizza...there's no better pizza.
22/11/2025: We went to Portento for a special family occasion, and I have to say that, this time as always, our expectations were exceeded! The staff was friendly and helpful, without being intrusive, the ingredients were high-quality, and the pizza was superb. A special mention goes to this reinterpretation of Bari's sgagliozze with meat sauce: absolutely worth a try.

13/12/2025: We went for lunch on Saturday to celebrate a family birthday. The location was very welcoming, the food was excellent, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly, and I think the value for money was among the best in the city. Conclusion: Everything was perfect!

The white wine menu also offers excellent value.

18/11/2025: Wonderful Sunday lunch.
I chose the chef's tasting menu. Refined dishes, sophisticated yet well-balanced pairings, all featuring typical seasonal products, from pumpkin to cardonecello mushrooms. Honorable mention goes to the slow-cooked cuttlefish and their homemade panettone. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, yet discreet. Plus, a truly fantastic wine cellar. I hope to return soon.

12/10/2025: A very traditional pizzeria in the center of Bisceglie. Nine of us came on a Saturday night and found the place quite crowded, but we had a relatively short wait to get in. The interior, however, is quite oppressive and doesn't allow for a full enjoyment of the evening. I ordered a pizza and it arrived almost burnt, but the staff was very quick and friendly and brought me a remade one. Very good pizza, highly recommended.

07/12/2025: The atmosphere and staff make the pizzeria very warm and welcoming. I personally found the food prices generally high, both for the pizzas, which are small, and for the fried potato croquettes and other items. A pizza with water, a potato croquette, some micro-sized bruschetta, and a medium slice of panettone cost €25/30 per person.

Arrived in Italy a week ago and suffered overpriced, bad food at tourist dives eager for a good meal at a fair price.
Galileo was perfect! Eggplant Parmasean was awesome and the Pizza was perfect.
Recommendation: Eat! Great food at a fair price.

09/10/2025: I call on the phone and it says 10 minutes, we get there and they make you wait another 30 minutes standing and no one looks you in the face, not recommended place, they only make you waste your time 😉

25/09/2025: Unfriendly and stressed staff, even though the place was 40% full. We were chased out of our seats and then given the worst possible spot, right by the entrance (even though there were still a few tables available). Very unpleasant lighting. It's a shame about the food, as the pizzas were truly excellent.
13/09/2025: No manners, they work double shifts so you have to literally gorge yourself on the first shift because the greedy owner puts profit before hospitality.
Just to give you an idea, they cleared our table while we were still seated!
Never again!!!!
