Good pizza and platters, but not at the previous levels and the fame that this place has built over time. It's a shame it has declined a bit, the food was a real journey through our territory. Quality of service for seating needs to be reviewed. In summer, the settings are only outside at the back, and they are a lottery. If you get tables on the pavement you are a bit unlucky, you sit on a slope and they are uncomfortable. The tables for 2-4 people are a bit narrow. Little privacy towards passers-by.

And not very available... and we ordered some pizzas which were under-leavened and very raw!!! Beyond that... they only use water derived from the "frizzi" purifier, as they call it, in returnable light water bottles without caps and seals... we requested a sealed bottle but nothing. I would come again just to enjoy the view! 😵🌞

Instead, we had the best Margherita pizza I've ever had... Thin, crumbly, tasty dough... Semi-wholemeal flour from the Marino mill, fiordilatte mozzarella not from the industrial crumbled ones but you could tell it came from whole hand-sliced ​​mozzarella, delicious tomato sauce... In short, superlative pizza. And also the management of the room... Despite the sea of ​​people, who were not always polite, the waiters and hostess never lost their calm and smile. ... In short, a place worth returning to ----- Last night, 3 months later, we returned to Pizzeria Galileo and unfortunately, this time, the experience was not positive: 1- we ordered a small appetizer before the pizzas... After just a quarter of an hour, they served everything to us (in record time...) but...... everything together... Appetizers and pizzas .... Now I would like to say to the management of the room: if I order the appetizer it is because I want to eat it BEFORE and not AT THE SAME TIME as the pizzas... Furthermore, bringing everything together, the waiter himself did not know where to put everything on the table 2- we also ordered some pasta omelettes... They served them hot on the outside and "iced" on the inside... We made the observation to the waiter, who appeared impassive... In my opinion, the the least the manager could have done would have been to not charge them... Instead we also paid them... 3- the pizza dough proved to be exceptional... But the toppings were not up to par. Only the Margherita pizza is excellent, but when it comes to the other pizzas, as mentioned, the seasoning leaves something to be desired. I, in particular, had an Ortus pizza: the seasonal vegetables were tasteless, as they were boiled... Not to mention a strange splash of red powder that pervaded the entire pizza: ground of what? Beet? Boo! Even visually, it all made a bit of an impression... 4- finally, a word on the diligence of the waiters: as soon as we finished eating, after a few seconds the waiters showed up to collect the dishes... I also go out to eat to do things with a bit of calm.. It was immediately clear that the waiters' eagerness to clear the table was to urge them to vacate the table as soon as possible and make room for new customers who, fortunately for the place, are never lacking and are outside waiting for their turn. 5- finally, the noise... Too many diners compared to the size of the room... You can't converse while eating... In the end, instead of staying in an excellent pizzeria (which the Galileo pizzeria should be) It feels like being in a "manger".... IN CONCLUSION, if the pizza dough proves to be EXCEPTIONAL, the toppings and above all the management of the service are not equally adequate, not up to the standard of a pizzeria reviewed by Gambero Rosso...

25/08/2024: Pizzas et plats vraiment excellents on a tous adoré Le lieu et magnifique et bien décoré à l'intérieur. (Pas de climatisation mais des ventilateurs). Glace servie dans un bol de nougatine super bonne. Quelques bémols tout de même malgré la qualité des plats. Le sorbet au citron était superbe mais peu citronné. Serveurs pas très commerçants. Sur cinq plats commandés trois n'avaient pas les ingrédients pour faire le plat et on a du commander autre chose. Et des verres sales.

The rotisserie is the best! The pizzas are not extraordinary, but not bad either, it depends on your taste. I can recommend IL PANZEROTTO and LA SCROCCHIARELLA, both in slices if available at the counter, and in round 4 pieces or GIANT ones where you can combine different flavours. Very honest prices, quick and friendly table service, always without pretensions. Many families or groups book and therefore you can only hope to find a place if there are two of you. It can also be consumed standing inside. It has a separate kitchen for celiacs.
