17/01/2026: I called to book on Saturday evening but no one answers and I get a message on WhatsApp. I try via the link for the first time and it says booked at 7:00 pm. I write on WhatsApp that I wanted to book at 8:00 pm not 7:00 pm and it says that to change the reservation I have to call from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. I call at 5:05 pm and no one answers, the message starts again. I try again after 20 minutes, no one answers, the message starts again... he tells me again that I have to call. I text him that I'll call but no one answers!!! He texts me that he understands my frustration 😂😂 now the AI understands my frustration?? I wrote to him so cancel the reservation!! and nothing ended like that 🤷😂
15/01/2026: We discovered this pizzeria in Fano by chance.
Excellent Neapolitan pizza. If you don't like it, they also have a carrot wheel. Very interesting selection of pizzas. We also had the pasta frittatina...excellent. Very friendly service and a complimentary loaf of bread made on site with sourdough starter to take home. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable.

11/11/2025: We were in the mood for fish and came here on a recommendation. We weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful, and the ambiance with its sea view was absolutely fantastic. Making a reservation is definitely a good idea, as it's always full and the wait can be quite long. We highly recommend this restaurant.
10/11/2025: An extremely unpleasant experience this summer. After paying the bill, we were clearly told at the cashier that the amaros were free. We took them and drank them without hesitation, but as we were leaving, a waiter arrogantly stopped us and asked if we had paid for them. The result was an embarrassing and completely avoidable moment, born solely from poor internal communication and unprofessional behavior. A place that treats customers this way leaves a terrible impression. I have no intention of returning.

Ristorante il Gabbiano Marotta

18/01/2026: After hearing about it several times, I decided to try making a reservation for dinner with my partner. We arrived and were warmly welcomed, and were given a choice of available tables. When making the reservation, I was told that since it was peak time, we might have to wait for service, but everything was fine.
For the main courses, we ordered a portion of "chicche del marinaio" (salmon and shrimp gnocchi) and a mixed fried fish dish, all very good and well-seasoned. Nothing gourmet, but who cares.
In conclusion, I liked it and will keep it in mind for a return visit. The prices are average, except that the portions are large enough for two, so the final bill is excellent.
I highly recommend it.
07/01/2026: Il Gabbiano restaurant in Marotta definitely makes an impression!
Generous portions and everything was delicious, fresh fish, and the service was courteous and fast.
Excellent and dry fried food.
Well-seasoned first courses.
The bill was the icing on the cake, very fair!
If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely go there again.
Definitely recommended!
I also recommend booking at least the day before; it's not very big.

16/01/2026: A quaint restaurant located in Fano's canal harbor.
The moretta was excellent.
The aperitif was average.
A heartfelt thanks to the waiter who rushed to meet us and bring us our cell phone, which we'd forgotten.
The service was attentive, I'd say, even more than attentive!
Highly recommended.
02/01/2026: A fantastic place run by unique people, and I've been coming here every time I come back here since 2001 (from Milan). The breakfasts are excellent, the aperitifs are excellent, and the dishes they offer every day are fantastic!
Every time, it feels like home, and the welcome they give you is unique!
And let's not forget that this is the home of the Moretta di Fano!
Highly recommended.

The food is definitely worth trying because everything is delicious, from appetizers to dessert. We're always super satisfied!!!
Excellent customer service.
The campsite is always well-maintained, and any issues are resolved quickly.
The restrooms and laundry area are always clean and equipped with toilet paper, which is not a given.
Highly recommended for a vacation or a stopover. 👍❤️
23/10/2025: We stayed two nights. The property was very well-maintained, with free hot showers and bathrooms. We ate well at their Agriturismo for a reasonable price. Definitely recommended if you're just passing through.

21/12/2025: Truly a one-of-a-kind location! Located just steps from the sea, in a spacious residential complex with swimming pools and tennis courts. Inside, a very large room can easily accommodate 200 people! The variety of food is simply enormous, offering a vast menu that starts with pizzas, followed by first courses, second courses, and side dishes, ranging from fish to meat, as well as fantastic set menus for just €17, including drinks and coffee. The service is excellent and very fast, even when the room is full, and the quality/price ratio is excellent! What can I say? Try it and believe it! The only slight downside is the background noise, which can be almost annoying at times.

03/08/2025: Compliments to this restaurant, which I rate with an A+ overall! Cannellini gratin and amazing mussels... the seafood chitarra pasta was superb, with just the right amount of salt and parsley, perfectly moist, and the waiters were incredibly kind! In times when mediocrity reigns supreme, it's only right to compliment those who put in the effort and pamper you... and my husband and I are both very demanding people, so that says it all! WELL DONE!

27/08/2025: From holidays that are almost always free, this year we opted to enjoy a maximum of 10 days of vacation. For convenience and proximity to the residence, we decided to rent 2 sunbeds at Bagni Alda. What can I say? First of all, we want to compliment all the staff. Super experience, clean and tidy beach, helpful and professional staff, excellent food both at lunch and during aperitifs or events. I continue to enjoy the beach 💪💪💯💯💯

I came in with a huge appetite and left with a big smile and the promise to return soon.
The food is good, no frills, and no strange surprises.
The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven, fragrant and light, the kind that sells out too quickly.
The traditional dishes are made just right, with generous portions and authentic flavors.
The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, the staff is friendly and quick, and they immediately make you feel at ease.
It's the kind of place you stumble upon once and then become a regular.
In short: honest cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere, and a strong desire to return.
Passing through Cuccurano di Fano (PU), stopping here is almost a gastronomic must!
