18/04/2026: The pizza dough was good, but the service could use some work. We were there on a particularly busy night, and the waiters were practically nonexistent. Five of us asked for paper napkins, but they only gave us three. I asked for cutlery, and they said they'd run out and were washing them, so they took my pizza away to cut it into slices themselves. Finally, the prices for drinks were ridiculous: a 33cl soda was €4, a bottle of Coke was €8. Insane. It's a shame because the pizzas are really good, but the service (with a full dining room) was truly poor.

11/09/2025: For a few weeks now, it's become our favorite Wednesday restaurant. Excellent service and delicious food. Short wait times and reasonable prices. We recommend the boccolotti with ribs.
07/09/2025: I discovered this restaurant by chance, as it's a trattoria with limited seating (you ALWAYS need to reserve). Some details are surprising, starting with the superlative welcome from the owner and the lady who manages the tables, and then the sheer disbelief when you realize how, with such a miniaturized cooking station, the owner manages to cook (perfectly) all the meat dishes served in the restaurant.
It's a charming and very informal atmosphere, with outdoor tables when the weather permits, and indoors in the winter.
And what about the good food?
All I can say is...try it and believe it!

01/05/2026: Some friends and I enjoyed a May Day lunch with a set menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food; everything was truly delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully served. The location is small but very welcoming, and it's definitely more inviting in the summer months.
The value for the menu was truly excellent.
Special mention goes to the kind Lorenzo, a waiter who went above and beyond: super helpful, polite, and above all, friendly, he was a wonderful companion throughout the lunch.

22/05/2026: I'm Romano, I live in Rome, I've known this place for many years, I come to Ascoli because I have my uncles and every time I can't help but come to this place to eat the pizzas, spectacular from the dough to the tomato sauce to the mozzarella, the girl who served me was very kind!! Well done

10/05/2026: The food impressed us in every way. The tagliata di tonno was divine, the frittura mista was crispy, fresh, and surprisingly light. The wine was a perfect match. The service was very friendly; we arrived late for lunch and were still served. The owner is a true host – warm, attentive, and incredibly personable.

06/05/2026: A lovely place in the center of historic San Benedetto, but under new management. The pizza is excellent, but you can also order a first course or fish. The location, the friendliness, and the flavors are top-notch. I highly recommend it.

05/07/2026: The buffalo mozzarella Margherita pizza was outrageous, dry, and had nonexistent mozzarella. They're frozen pizzas cooked in an electric oven... the ones at Eurospin are better! Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff at the tables were great!

06/03/2026: I go there often and it's always a spectacle, Roberto's pizza is a magician, and both Marcella and her sister are always very kind 😍 But lately the prices have risen... for example, my wife and I went there one evening and we got 2 pizzas and 1 bottle of water for €30! This evening instead I ordered 2 pizzas to go: 1 half red with potatoes and sausage and half red with vegetables without corn with a little mozzarella and 1 caprese with ham on top, total €23.50... (oh, they put the corn on it anyway) for goodness sake I'm not saying I don't go there anymore but I think the prices need to be reviewed and carelessness with the corn can happen

The professional, fast, courteous, and polite waitress served us a superb mussel soup, divine seafood scialatielli, excellent focaccia instead of bread, excellent pizza, and a round of applause to the chef for the tuna as well. The only problem was the price of the wine, €25 with a screw cap.
But with the 10% discount from the Mocambo Hotel, we were fine.

14/06/2026: Ordered focaccia with ham through Gloovo for €7.30. I'm attaching a photo so you can see the scam. Furthermore, every time the delivery drivers pocket €2-3 because they don't have change or they quote a price when it's actually not the right one. It's not a question of money, but rather, because they don't have any, I, the customer, decide whether to tip you or not.
