15/06/2025: Siamo entrati in questo locale che si presenta molto carino per fare aperitivo, ci è stato chiesto se avessimo voluto mangiare qualcosa insieme all'aperitivo, senza però specificare che si trattava di un menù di pesce con più portate..e soprattutto senza specificare il costo. Oltre questo le prime portate hanno presentato un pesce di scarsa qualità e avariato, per finire con due gamberetti fritti in pastella che puzzavano ormai di ammoniaca, tant'è che non siamo riusciti a continuare le portare e siamo andati via. Ovviamente ci è stato chiesto di pagare comunque il conto ...

24/03/2025: If there was the possibility of giving zero stars I assure you that I would have done so. Very poor quality cold cuts, carbonara that calling it such is an insult. But they have a merit: I ate the floating pork butcher, in the sense that the pasta floated in a pool of cream, and the other was of the lowest quality, the flavor of the porcini mushrooms non-existent. I don't understand how they can stay open. Highly not recommended.

01/07/2025: The pizza is good, nothing to say about the taste. However, €2.20 for such a small pizza is really perplexing. The place certainly has an important history for the people of Ascoli and I can understand the affection and bond that many have for it. But for someone who comes from outside, certain prices make you tear your hair out. I understand the context, I understand the tradition, but the ratio between quantity and cost is just not convincing. I put one star only because the quality is there and the lady who works there is nice and courteous.

21/05/2025: Appreciable quality, but service could be significantly improved The intrinsic quality of the products is generally good and you can perceive the attention paid to the choice of raw materials. The preparations are often tasty and inviting. However, there are some aspects that penalize the overall experience. On some occasions, I happened to come across pastries whose freshness was not impeccable, especially regarding the creams, which seemed to have lost their optimal fragrance. The main problem, in my opinion, lies in the service, especially when you want to consume at the table. Despite the intention to offer such a service, the implementation leaves something to be desired: the preparation of even a simple Spritz turned out not to be up to expectations. Added to this is a certain general slowness in serving. I believe that the fundamental criticality is the lack of staff. With only one or two employees to juggle between the oven, the service at the bar, the management of the pastry shop and the preparation of gift packages, it is understandable that, even with all the good will, they are unable to guarantee an efficient and attentive service as the quality of the products would deserve. An increase in staff would allow us to better enhance the offer and significantly improve the customer experience. Despite these flaws, I confirm three stars because the underlying goodness is there and the products, when at their freshest, are valid.

24/01/2025: Pizza immangiabile, antipasti discreti. Proprietario che sembrava stressatissimo e svolgiato. Esperienza da dimenticare.

28/06/2025: One star because less is not possible. Indigestible pizza, it was impossible to finish it, mozzarella not classifiable among such, dough probably not cooked, every bite was like throwing down a stone. I won't talk about the price because I would become too critical. Avoid at all costs!

Poor quality food, gluten-free pizza inedible, the others undercooked, industrial fried food, slow service, there was no way to choose the menu, only the one set by the restaurant, in the price they also included dessert when instead we had brought the birthday cake. Unacceptable price for both adults and children and moreover without a receipt. The only positive note was the kindness of the waiters. We will definitely not return!

20/03/2025: We went to eat the famous gourmet pizzas.. €15 each.. Ordered a pizza with courgette flowers, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and one with raw cherry tomatoes.. First of all they made us sit at a table without even a paper placemat.. The cutlery was placed directly on the table.. And already here we had to get up and leave.. Then they brought us two baby scones burnt in the center (consequently half broken because they arrived cut) with 1 FLOWER OF RAW PUMPKIN (AND I REAIMATE 1 IN NUMBER) CUT INTO 6 STRIPES TO PLACE EACH ON A LITTLE PIECE OF FOCACCIA AND 4 TOMATOES CUT INTO PIECES AND PLACED ON THE TOP WITHOUT EVEN A THREAD OF OIL. The other arrived with two slices of raw ham (always in strips just to show that there was a little on each slice) and cherry tomatoes in the same way. 2/3 of the scones had nothing on them.. Total rubbish.. Staff not at all courteous.. I absolutely don't recommend it!! We went out and went to Ascoli to eat two sandwiches at petit Bruxelles..

02/03/2025: We had dinner with some friends at their suggestion. Expectations were quite high. Pizzas nothing special, dough ok but the only flavor I would recommend is Margherita. Non-existent and wrong service: 1 hour of waiting to be told that there was a mistake and that the starters were not yet ready; meanwhile the pizza was coming out so no appetizers. Sweet cheesecake not recommended, you can only taste Philadelphia. Coke and beer for 10 people with jugs. Price 25 euros per person for two glasses of coke/beer, an absolutely not special pizza, and a half dessert. In my opinion even the tall one. Not recommended and we would not return.

23/06/2025: We were seated right away at a table outside on the street. The prosciutto and melon was delicious and fresh, service very friendly, and the pizza was great. Not the fanciest place but solid food and great vibes! One of our favorite meal yet in Sardinia.
