07/09/2025: We ordered octopus and potato salad for our starters and seafood spaghetti for our main course. While waiting for our food, they brought us cacio pepe as a complimentary treat. It was some of the best pasta we've ever had. The seafood was so fresh and fragrant. We also enjoyed the octopus. We ordered tiramisu for dessert, which was light and delicious. Special thanks to Massimo, whose energy made our evening even more enjoyable. The only downside is that the tables for two are quite close together, and since the place is small, you have to accept this.

31/08/2025: I ate well, but reading the reviews, I no longer understood anything, I recommend the chefs' hats, because I have already read two reviews from customers who found hair on the dishes and the fish must always be fresh, otherwise it is better not to offer it... there is vacuum preservation and certain dishes (such as baked lamb), it is better not to elaborate them too much, otherwise you risk covering too much of the original flavor

26/08/2025: Too much cream in the pasta dish made it a bit bland and difficult to digest. The dessert I wanted wasn't available, so I ordered the "tartufo nocciola," but it didn't quite match the menu description because it's just ice cream dusted with cocoa; there wasn't really any meringue or crunch.

06/08/2025: I've been going there for many years, unfortunately not often because I'm far from Varese. Whenever I can, if my family wants pizza, we go here. The dough is delicious, the toppings generous, and I feel at home even when it's packed.

25/08/2025: I got takeout pizzas a few days ago, SUPERB. I've never had such good pizza in the province. The quality of the ingredients was EXCELLENT, cooked perfectly. The price was also very fair.

26/06/2025: A real insider tip if you really want to eat well. If you're in Lugano and still want to eat well and affordably, you should definitely make the 25-minute drive. The staff unfortunately seems a bit overwhelmed, but they're very helpful. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Oh, and it's best to make a reservation if you want to sit outside!

23/06/2025: Absolutely recommended pizzeria! 🍕 The food was really good, prepared with care and fresh ingredients. The service was excellent: I want to give a big compliment to the two waitresses, who were not only very kind and professional, but also very nice. The environment is welcoming and pleasant. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back!

08/09/2025: We get there and theres many tables but they wouldn't take us just for two people for a quick lunch. Very dismissive and confusing. Maybe worth calling before but no one speaks English..

06/09/2025: I went to this pizzeria with my family for pizza after searching online for good pizza in Saronno, and I came across Pizzeria Mandolino. From the photos I saw online, I knew the pizza was delicious, and I wasn't wrong! It was the third or fourth time I've eaten a truly delicious pizza in my life! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely go there again. The guys are all young, kind, and fast, and they deserve five stars!

30/08/2025: I'm giving 3 stars, which is a middle ground because: 1. I booked yesterday, August 29th, 3 days in advance through The Fork (30% discount for 8 people). I let them know that there are 9 of us and they said no problem.... When it came time to pay, the discount wasn't there. 2. We ordered 8 pizzas and 1 lasagna from the menu. 8 delicious pizzas. Lasagna was served late (we already had our hands in advance, "we won't count it because of the delay"). Maybe it would have been better to say, given the absurd appearance, red lasagna with basil leaves, but above all, the rancid flavor, I WON'T COUNT IT BECAUSE IT WAS INEDIBLE. We ended up with uncounted lasagna (it should have been reported) and uncounted bitters. Honestly, I'm just saying that it's absurd to give out dishes that aren't capable of producing.... FOR THE PIZZA, OK, THE REST IS NOT.

31/08/2025: Thin crust pizza...not like the one in Naples...the flavor is pretty good, but I would have preferred it to be more rustic...they all seem a bit similar. High priced, given that we're in Caiello, a hamlet of Gallarate, not Milan.
