13/12/2025: My review is for the restaurant, which I experienced a couple of weeks ago for lunch. Nothing to complain about the location, near the river and quite charming. Once inside, the situation changes, with crowded tables and ordinary furnishings. We find ourselves in one of the best examples of the mediocre wedding restaurants found in provincial towns. Appetizers with decidedly mediocre ingredients cost between €16 and €20. Fish-based first courses cost over €15 and consisted of pasta—almost inedible due to its rawness—and very little seafood or shellfish. My plate of spaghetti en crosta—€18—had two mussels, three clams, a prawn, and two slippery lobsters, none of which are edible. The desserts are all semi-industrial. I've read the owner's sarcastic responses to other negative reviews, but I'd be curious to be refuted on the fact that the fish was frozen and that the desserts were homemade, as stated at the time of service, rather than simply be accused of having no taste...

24/11/2025: I went to Mimmo's for a Saturday night dinner and wanted to leave an honest but constructive review, because the pizzeria definitely has potential. Important premise: the timing probably didn't help. The place was really packed, with lots of people waiting outside, several birthday parties, and karaoke. The atmosphere was lively, but inevitably very loud and chaotic. The menu is extensive: so many options, congratulations on the variety. I contradict myself by saying that this can also be confusing; we personally had a really hard time deciding which pizza to order, so much so that we opted for the classic ones, just to avoid wasting too much time. 😅 It's clear that it's a beloved and very popular pizzeria. Aspects for improvement: - Long wait The pizzas arrived quite late, probably due to the huge turnout. I understand it's a Saturday night, but the wait was really long. - Too much noise Between karaoke, birthdays, and large tables, the noise level was very high and made it difficult to talk without shouting to people within a centimeter of each other. - Service was sometimes unwelcoming One of the waitresses who looked after us always seemed in a hurry and barely smiled. I understand the stress of Saturdays, but a little courtesy really makes a difference. - Burnt pizza My pizza was well cooked... perhaps too much. The crust and part of the bottom were burned, and this ruined the flavor a bit. I'll probably return on a quieter day to give it a second chance. The reviews are good and the place is very busy, so I'm sure the experience would be different in a less chaotic environment. My observations are intended as constructive feedback to further improve a place that many appreciate.

05/01/2026: It was the best food experience I had in my trip to Italy. The food was amazing, I tried a salami pizza and as a dessert a tiramisu, I don’t want to exaggerate but sincerely it was the best ones I’ve ever tried. The place is so beautiful, you can pay with card and it’s in an excellent zone if you’re going to the Balbianello village. It’s a most in your visit to Leno. Also Rosy was an amazing host, so you’ll definitely feel a warm welcome at your arrival 🫶🏻

03/01/2026: Very nice place, with rooms overlooking the park and large windows. It's quite well-maintained. The only drawback is that you have to enter through the bar. Otherwise, it's a nice and welcoming place.

They always pay close attention to the provenance and freshness of the ingredients used...highly recommended!!

10/11/2025: A splendid restaurant overlooking Lake Lugano, serving Chinese, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. Buffet appetizers and the option of fresh fish and meat cooked to order.

05/01/2026: The waiter was arrogant and unhelpful. He didn't understand courtesy: information was unclear and given with a lack of willingness, unsuitable for this type of job. The owner was helpful and kind. The vegetable pizza was burnt and the vegetables inedible. The chicken was only bones and not even a bit of meat. In short, an experience to forget.

28/12/2025: I went to lunch at Santo Stefano with my family of eight. The food was delicious, the service excellent. I recommend it to everyone.

29/12/2025: We were passing through and stopped to eat something. We were really satisfied. We ate very well. We will be back.

23/11/2025: A rustic restaurant, I went for a gourmet evening featuring donkey. The gnocchi with ragù were also delicious, though it's a shame they weren't homemade, but mass-produced. The stew, unfortunately, was poorly executed, quite tough, and far from what it should be: the meat was flaky and tenderized by prolonged cooking.

16/09/2025: I went to the WITCH pizzeria for the first time. The atmosphere is welcoming, with limited seating, so reservations are recommended. The wood-fired oven offers good pizza. Service is quick. I wasn't happy with the price because I spent too much on a pizza. This is the reason for the 3 stars.

04/01/2026: My review is about the hotel, not the restaurant. We stayed on New Year's Eve. The room was beautiful and spacious. It had a coffee maker and water in the minibar. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was friendly. The rooms are in a building next to the restaurant.
