01/02/2025: We found ourselves for a family lunch at an evidently wrong time, given that in the adjacent room of the restaurant a private party was taking place with very loud music, dancing and DJs... so much so that we couldn't hear each other at the table. Very trashy. Frozen fish, 80's dishes, clearly the price was low, but you can't expect that quality. Everything is edible, of course, but good fish is another thing. A somewhat approximate service. But above all, since we had booked, they did not warn us of the terrible noise we would find. Unforgivable.

05/02/2025: I’ve enjoyed many Italian meals that I didn’t care to write about, but I do want to write about this establishment. Upon entering this establishment, the atmosphere was great. The dining room was warm with high ceilings and it was open, the way I like it. The server was very friendly and greeted us with a smile, unlike many other places that was very cold to the point and not very friendly. My wife and I ordered a fresh green salad each and a pizza. Nothing to really write home about. But the mixed green salad was fantastic. I’m not sure if it was the combination of very fresh green and grilled vegetables or the dressing or whatever but I didn’t have to add anything extra. The pizza was very flavorful and not too salty. The pizza dough was cooked perfectly with no burnt crust edges, and the bacon was very flavorful. It turns out this was family operation. Probably like most other small restaurants in Italy. The father was the cook, the mother was the bartender and the daughter was the server. This restaurant is definitely highly recommended if you’re a traveler and just passing through Coleco.

18/11/2024: Returned here after many many years, after it changed management. It was crazy before and it's crazy now. I ate a slice of tuna that was cut with a breadstick, it was so soft, the vegetables were delicious, and the dish was plentiful. I love that they have so many vegetarian options, a restaurant that stands out. Lovely location ❤️ absolutely recommend!

14/01/2025: A pleasant discovery, an excellent restaurant, nice and well furnished, with kind and friendly staff. We wanted to try the pizzas, which are made well, as they should be, that is, with a thin crust. Gladly returning another time, we also wanted to try a first course. Good!

07/02/2025: Takeaway pizzeria which in my opinion is top notch. Never found such a quality-price pizzeria in Brescia. I understand that they can't work miracles with the timetables because they have so many orders. When I'm in S.Polo I'm very happy to pick it up!!

02/03/2025: Updated to 2025 (I leave the previous one for comparison). The quality of the pizza has grown exponentially, taking the one with the raw meat on the side, it's really good - even if the regulars tell me that once upon a time the raw meat was decidedly more abundant. The girls and boys were very good, very nice and quick despite the packed place. Everything is excellent, I go from 3⭐️ to 4⭐️ (and not 5) because I understand the quality, the environment, the general increase in prices, etc. - but over €25 for pizza, beer, water and coffee starts to feel a little unjustifiable. So so. The internal courtyard is decidedly pleasant as a location for a dinner and they are also well equipped with Autan and mosquito repellent kits (however, very few are seen). Very friendly staff and fast enough service. What didn't impress me was the pizza. Served on a cutting board, oval in shape and a little thick, the unfilled edge part is definitely too much compared to the stuffed part. And even here we are not there. Suffice it to say that the waiter, when he brought me the pizza, asked who had gotten the pizza without mozzarella, only to then realize himself that there was indeed mozzarella, but so little that it was difficult to see it! All of which wasn't exactly free: having all taken pizza and considering that only one in two on the table took "extras" such as beer, dessert, coffee or bitters, we spent €17 each.

26/02/2025: Good pizzeria restaurant located in the municipality of Gaggiano along the canal. In summer it also has an outdoor garden, partly with a veranda. In my opinion the pizza is excellent, the cuisine is good even if some dishes should be revised. Friendly staff, although sometimes a little distracting on weekends when the place is full. Overall recommended!!

02/02/2025: Totally unexpected! The menu outside made us think of fast and cheap. You are welcome here: efficient welcome, smiling staff. Very generous plates, well prepared dishes. Local specialties. Risotto, salmon, Milanese escalope, red meat (cooked to perfection), everything very very good! Random but attentive service, and well made up for by their know-how and their sympathy: No sooner said than done! The icing on the cake: Irish Coffee was not on the menu, and unknown to them. We showed them a photo and gave them the composition: we validated the 3rd test with them! At the top! Thank you because we had a good laugh, a good meal, and they were happy to complete their menu! Inexpensive drinks

28/01/2025: La Locanda dell'Amore turned out to be a very pleasant discovery for those who love authentic Lombard cuisine. The expertly curated menu offers a selection of dishes that combine tradition and quality, letting the passion and attention to detail in the preparation shine through. What struck us most was the goodness of the dishes combined with quick and efficient service: a balance that is not always easy to find. What made the experience even more special was the availability and kindness of the owner, always careful to make us feel welcomed and at ease. Another aspect to underline is the economic side, which deserves a mention: the prices are decidedly low, an added value. Congratulations to all the staff! We will definitely be back to enjoy their excellent gastronomic offer again. Well done!
