20/05/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at this truly special restaurant, nestled in a small mountain village with a stunning view from the panoramic balcony. An authentic place where you can breathe in history, tradition, and a true passion for cooking. The owner, Emanuela, is a superb cook: every dish tasted like it was made with love and genuine ingredients. We sampled excellent penne al ragù, rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned, and fantastic traditional homemade ravioli, delicate and flavorful. A special thanks also to the gentleman with white hair and blue eyes, a very kind and passionate man, who told us the history of the restaurant and the six generations of the family who have contributed to making this place and this beautiful village special. It's clear that people don't come here just to eat, but to enjoy an experience steeped in tradition, family, and heart. My sincere compliments to the entire staff. We'll definitely be back!

02/08/2026: The owners and waitresses are very friendly. The food is good (reasonably priced), and the pizzas are quite generous. The restaurant is spacious and air-conditioned. The children's playroom is very nice (connected to the dining room via a video camera and projected onto the TV). Children access the playroom (the inflatables are fantastic) with non-slip socks (those who forget can purchase them at the cashier). Especially recommended for families with children. There's ample parking in front of the restaurant. The restrooms are clean and well-equipped.

01/08/2026: I was there last night, the staff were friendly, the pizza was really good, the zucchini was gorgo, the spicy salami was very kind, I had asked for a quiet place because I suffer from panic attacks, having people too close to me, they put me in an excellent place, I will be back soon, thank you so much for your kindness.

16/07/2026: unfortunately we didnt have a good experience here, the waiter got our orders wrong multiple times including after specifically requesting and confirming that they wouldnt add vegetable to the dish, and that the sauce wouldnt be there, it was still there. the chips were drenched in oil, the pizza was just alright, the „hummus“ was a hot chickpea purée with no tang and lentil chips to dip (also oily),ravioli portion was small and very doughy also quite flavorless. allover mediocre food, and despite the kind servers the service wasnt good. we wont be back unfortunately.

15/06/2026: I don't know how it gets such high reviews. I found the meat tasted like gas, the table was dirty, the water bottle with a broken neck was left in a corner next to the garbage cans, and I booked two weeks in advance. Not recommended, low quality, high prices.

07/06/2026: We had lunch with a group of friends, and we all had a great time. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly.

21/06/2026: Attracted by the positive reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, whose specialty is supposedly meat. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service poor, and the meat stringy and low-quality. The prices are very high for the quality of the food and service. We really didn't like it at all. I'm sorry to say, but I wouldn't go back even for free.

11/07/2026: The owner (I think he's the boss) is super nice and funny. We went there one evening and each ordered a pizza, which was absolutely delicious. Then they gave us complimentary tiramisu afterwards. There's a lovely terrace behind the house where you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere. We also had pasta there, and it was, without a doubt, the best carbonara I've ever eaten.

17/05/2026: I'd seen the sign for this restaurant for a long time while driving along Via Emilia, and I knew I'd come and try it sooner or later. I finally stumbled upon it with some colleagues, and we enjoyed a truly pleasant evening, despite the inevitable noise of a packed restaurant. When I try a new place, I almost always like to choose either the most unusual dish on the menu or the one bearing the restaurant's name. In this case, I opted for the "Conchiglia" pizza... and I expected anything but it to actually arrive in the shape of a shell! A fun and visually striking idea that had me smiling from the moment the dish arrived at the table. I admit that my pizza came out well after my colleagues'—so much so that theirs had already cooled—but curiosity won out over the annoyance of the wait. With this excuse, I also tried a seafood pizza for the first time, something I'd been curious about for years. I love taking risks and experimenting with new flavors, although this time I wasn't completely won over: not because it was bad, on the contrary, but because the seafood flavor almost completely overpowered the pizza itself. And it's a shame, because I really liked the dough. It's different from the classic thin-crust pizza often found in Piacenza and the surrounding area: thicker, very soft, almost like a well-leavened focaccia. The tomato puree was also worth it, slightly sweet and truly tasty. The babà to finish was also very good: non-alcoholic, so different from the usual, but accompanied by an excellent Chantilly cream that still made it a delightful dessert. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd gladly return, especially to try pizzas that feel more my style. Because the quality of the dough and the ingredients really shines through.

01/05/2026: For years I've been saying this is the best pizza in Piacenza and the surrounding towns, because they use the finest ingredients available. The fish is always fresh, with extensive experience that brings out the true, authentic flavors of the Amalfi Coast.

02/06/2026: I frequent this bar practically every morning for my ever-present coffee, and it's always a pleasure. Even if I only stop by for a few minutes, you can immediately sense the quality of the place: the counter is always stocked with tempting options, and the fried gnocco looks truly irresistible. But what really makes the difference is the staff, always kind, smiling, and professional. The best way to start the day.

06/08/2026: The best pizza ever! I love the "somasca" pizza, which is exclusive to this place. The food is also worth it. I love the family atmosphere and the friendly staff. Even more so in the summer because you can eat outside and enjoy the view. There's also a beautiful and spacious indoor dining room! Affordable prices. Highly recommended!

19/05/2026: It was our first time trying this pizza restaurant, and we all ate pizza. We were happy to have the option of trying the whole wheat dough, so almost everyone ordered it. My personal opinion would be a mixed bag. One thing, although it's not a limitation, is that we didn't get a pizza of the same size or shape. I think the pizza chef isn't exactly adept at making round pizzas, but nothing special; it's better to focus on the flavor. The pizzas weren't bad, but nothing special. One thing to note was the value for money, which was more than excellent. We spent about €21 each for a pizza, a medium beer, and a dessert, which was also decent. So, if you don't want to spend a lot and eat a decent pizza, it's definitely a good option. A small note, though: since I'm not sure if it's a club, the atmosphere is a bit dated, and the patrons tend to be the same.

01/08/2026: An evening with former classmates. The goal was companionship, but we still found a nice atmosphere and good pizza.

11/08/2026: I give this place 2 stars, based on two experiences. We came here the first time, it was quite busy and we were looking for a table. We weren’t greeted or helped, so we just waited, after 5 mins I walk up to a server and ask if we can sit in an empty area: no it’s closed. Okay that’s fine, we’ll wait. After 5 more mins a table is free and we sit down. Two people next to us are waiting. They walk up to the same server and ask if they can sit in the same empty area: yes. Why couldn’t we? Weird. The lady serving us came across as quite grumpy. I asked if I could order the pesto pasta but she said no pasta till 12, which again, no problem, we will just wait. It was quite busy where we were seated and a lot of families with young kids, so when the “empty part” started filling up we asked if we could sit over there by the water. “Yes” the server said, so we went and then were stopped by another server over there that said we couldn’t? We just left after that, a bit bummed out about their attitudes. Honestly would rate it 2 stars at this point. The view and the frozen coffee was good hence the 2nd star. The next day we had a trip next to it and I decided to try it again, because I don’t want to give such a low rating quickly. We had one of the same servers and she was too a bit grumpy, but whatever. I ordered the pasta pesto, but they don’t have it she says. But it’s on the online menu. It was warm, and another server same up, named Daniel who asked if we wanted some shade, super nice so that was very much appreciated. The woman came up and got a bit annoyed by it, even though we didn’t ask for it? He just offered it when he brought the food and saw the sun. Also, why get annoyed over that? All in all, not the best experiences (rare, most places in Italy have great service) We did like the food and the view, so it could become a great place if the service improves. Again, if we had Daniel every interaction, this would’ve been a 5 star.

07/08/2026: The Porto Bar has undergone a makeover over the years; the prices aren't cheap, but they're not too high either. The only regret is that it's turning into a place for high-class tourists.

20/07/2026: The service was excellent. To be honest, I didn't eat there; I only bought some drinks, but the service was superb, as if I had paid for a table with many other diners. The place is beautiful; I'll definitely be back to eat there.

07/07/2026: Due to a traffic accident that closed the road, I stopped my truck to ask if they were open. I ate a lot, and the food was truly excellent. The staff was truly exceptional. I'll be back with my wife because such a beautiful and well-kept restaurant is worth a stop. I personally would give it 10 stars.

09/04/2026: Cheap and quick food served on a cardboard box. Self-service cutlery and drinks. Very friendly staff. The Four Seasons pizza was delicious. Thin crust and generous toppings.

15/03/2026: Very good pizza, 3-star service, but because it's self-service, for anyone reading this review, I'm not absolutely against the pizzeria, but just to point out that there are no waiters, so if you go there, don't expect that kind of service. GO THERE because the pizza and their friendliness are worth it. Unfortunately, I can't find the photos; I'll post them next time. See you soon!!
