25/04/2026: The service was appalling; we arrived at this place and it left much to be desired. I absolutely do not recommend it.

06/04/2026: We were passing through (after taking the train) and three of us had lunch at this pizzeria/restaurant. The owner, who also served us, was very kind. I found the pizza very good (very digestible dough and well-topped pizza!), and my family, who opted for two first courses, were very satisfied with both the generous portions and the taste. The place (a bit anonymous from the outside) is pleasant and clean. The only flaw is the lack of receipts and debit card payment. The prices are excellent, however. The restrooms are dated but still equipped with everything you need.

26/04/2025: They accepted a reservation but when we showed up at the appointed time it was closed.

21/04/2025: PLACE CLOSED!!! Booked for Easter Sunday with a nasty surprise... As soon as we arrived at the gate, we found a sign saying "closed for renovations." No one notified us... no texts, not even a phone call. What kind of manners are these? Five people had to run around trying to find an available place without a reservation. Truly speechless!!!!!! 1⭐ because I was forced to, otherwise the review wouldn't have been published. For me, even less than zero...

25/12/2025: ABSURD! Just this evening, for Christmas dinner, my partner, our golden retriever, and I were looking for a place to eat. The man at the door (rude and grumpy) told us we couldn't sit in his restaurant (EMPTY! After all, how could it be otherwise with someone like that?). Look. Considering the collapse of this country and all its businesses closed in recent years, perhaps it's time to reconsider their policies, considering it's 2026, not 1912. The gentleman at the front desk even laughed as we left, pleased with his umpteenth failure (given all the great reviews). No big deal, because we're at MADE MIO, which is definitely better.

25/12/2025: Stuck in the Middle Ages. On the evening of December 25th, my boyfriend and I went out to find a place to have dinner in a spooky and deserted Madesimo. We arrived at this completely DESERTED "restaurant" and asked for a table for two with a dog. They wouldn't let us sit because dogs aren't allowed. It's 2026. They probably lost their only customers of the evening, all because they wouldn't allow a dog. We travel everywhere with our puppy and have never been denied entry to a restaurant, anywhere in Italy. Madesimo was my entire childhood, but now I understand why it's become a completely ghost town; unfortunately, it's stuck in the 1940s.

15/05/2026: Very good lasagna, very good location, fairly quick service, and very friendly waiters.

28/04/2026: The food was disappointing and had nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine—only the names of the dishes were Italian, while the preparation felt more oriental. The prices were very high and absolutely not justified by what was served, especially considering the poor quality. However, the worst part was the hospitality and the staff. They were quite rude, and the waiters behaved as if they were the owners. Basic courtesy like "welcome," "thank you," or "enjoy your meal" was completely missing. 23/03/2026: Delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Good wine and selection of home made fresh pizza.

09/09/2025: Very good pizza, excellent tomato and mozzarella, and the dough pairs well with the ingredients. Very kind people.

16/05/2026: BEWARE OF SCAMS! You ask for the smallest ice cream, they say yes, show you the tub, and then they give you the tub and end up charging you €10. Not recommended at all. They act deliberately to deceive you and charge you more. Scam, fraud, rip-off!!! Tourist trap.

14/05/2026: Dear people visiting Sirmione, don't come to this ice cream shop or whatever it is. I'm on a school trip with my class and I wanted to buy some ice cream. They immediately attract tourists by asking if they want to try a flavor from a spoon. If you say yes, they'll most likely let you in and order an ice cream. I did, and I got a two-flavor cone, paying a whopping €10. A friend of mine got a one-flavor cone, paying a whopping €3. A TOURIST SCAM!! DON'T FALL INTO THEIR TRICK!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BECOME POOR!!! Best regards, your best friend :)
